The Creator is outside of you, God is seprated from man because man has sinned against God. God made a way to have forgiveness. Through His Son Jesus Christ.
The first is called realize who you are...sinful, selfish, self centered. You sin because it's your nature. You have violated Gods law and sinned against a holy God. You need forgiveness of this sin.
