  • Not too bad. Managed to get rid of the pesky Cortina and caught up to the Mustang and Elan again. Since others have asked technical questions, here are mine: what type of diff and ratio was used here and what tyres?

  • Hi, Diff is 3:9 geared via dropgears to 4.08:1. Tyres are regulation Dunlop CR65 Historic Racing tires (and dead ones as such - got a new set which I can't wait to try!)

  • nice driving what engine do you have ? im building my new engine which will be ready for the new championship for february's race i have a 970 'S' engine . did you ever come to malta??? hope to hear from you soon ...

  • Thanks! 1293cc with A+ internals, lightened & balanced. Budget cylinder head, twin SU h4 setup. Could probably gain a lot from getting a better head + steel bottom end for more safe revs, but that's off-budget. Been to Malta twice on holiday, and like it very much there, so yes - i'll definitely be going again!

  • your engine sounds perfect and runs very very good for the specs its got. if you have your email i can send you my engine specs and photos of my new engine which you will like for sure... when you come over to malta youre more then welcome to come out and see us race or to see the minis we have my dads mini has a 160bhp mini engine and take you for a ride hope to hear from you soon ...

  • Thanks, I'll definitely take you up on that offer next time in Malta! Go to my website(see my profile) and you'll find my email there, plus info about the car/engine etc.

  • great action to watch, especially for me as my dad has an elan and i have a '75 mini haha. nice racing
