  • BMW Power!

  • Rather die in a Volvo than driving BMW

  • Clearly BMW was going faster. Volvo for life :)

  • certo che la proverbiale "robustezza Swedish" lascia il posto alla INCOMPARABILE qualità dell'ingegneristica di Monaco :)

  • BMW all the way

  • bmw

  • No the Volvo didnt brake. The Volvo tryed to eat the BMW and succed, the BMW was trash and the Volvos mouth was open :D

  • its fine aslong as you not on the drivers side...

  • bääms

  • fake

  • Everyone, the original video here: watch?v=TFIYS20Dj5o&feature=related

Both are very good cars; I guess the BMW faired only slightly better, but all you really need to know is 4:46.

As for being in the trunk, I hope you had a lot of pillows in there, because you would either push right through the seats (they're only clipped on, you know?) or the forces would get you. Highest chance of survival though aside from not being in either car...

  • I was in the trunk of the BMW and survived, so the beemer is better.

  • @salpinta obiously the bmw failed, because you survived

  • The BMW is better!!!!!

  • I agree with SargentoDuke it was in Fifth Gear at 130 kmph

  • How fast were the cars going?

  • @Milo4099 100kph 60mph

  • BMW is massive how a wall

  • D'you know, I really don't care. I'd still rather have a volvo than a BMW.

  • lol, saw the bmw tacho, 130kmph!!!!!!

  • Whatever safety features they dump into a car, in the end it always comes down to the driver.

  • awesome

  • VOLVO ÄGER

  • @volvovolvo300 Gammal sklit...

  • @MikeInc79 sklit? haha ok

  • @MikeInc79 sklit? haha ok

  • OK...I gues we both have our opinions, so no point arguing...:) Have a nice day man

  • that bmw just went through the volvo...:)

  • and the volvo went through the BMW - the camera just didn't show the right angle to see it.

  • I know...what I ment is that BMW is much stronger than Volvo and most other cars...

  • Cough. Volvos, overall, are safer than BMWs. Especially pound for pound. I reckon that any new Volvo will be safer than any new BMW of the same (or less) price. Also consider here, that the BMW is a much newer model than the Volvo. Yet, the Volvo fairs as well as the BMW. The BMW's A pillar was totally deformed (in contrast to the Volvo - where it was only damaged).

  • I dont think that you understud me...:) I know that the Volvos are one of the safest cars in the world, but that is not what I ment to say...What I mean is that the body of that BMW is stronger than the volvos body...Look at second 44 how both cars look.Volvo had more damage...

  • As I said, the camera angle hides the destruction to the BMW. - You can just about see where the body is deformed on the BMW (right ride of the car). It was an off-set crash. If the camera was looking at the cars in the opposite direction, then the Volvo would look better off.

No new car (not even a Volvo S80 or Lexus LS600h/530 could survive a crash as severe as this with that little damage.

  • What I meant to say was "No new car (not even a Volvo S80 or Lexus LS600h/530 could survive a crash as severe as this with as little damage as appears tof have been done to the BMW. -It's all camera angles."
