  • To everyone complaining about her terminology: Why do you even care? If you understand what she's talking about, it really shouldn't you. Why are you even watching her tutorials if you obviously know more about crocheting than she does?

  • Love this video, easy to follow :)

Im just wondering wich type of yarn you use ?

  • @hilde72 thank you. i'm not sure of the actual type, but it's by the brand Red Heart. It's sold at Walmart, Joanne's, and Michael's :)

  • @traceybeauty We dont have those stores in Norway im sorry to say.

Is it possible for you to write te info that is on the yarn you use, so that i can se if i can find something simular here ?

  • go to this link: htt p://w ww.redheart.com/yarn/super-saver-economy (connect the spaces, youtube doesn't allow links in comments)

  • you should really watch some crochet videos on here because you dont know the right terminology for crocheting like its a hook not a stick and normally a hook has a letter size as well which is more common and your knots are called chains.

  • its a crochet hook not stick >.>

  • Im trying so hard to follow... I've been stuck at 3:12 for atleast 10mins... Im about ready to give up and find another video... =/ next time try to slow down a bit for REAL beginners

  • @TheQueenHalisi she is just double crocheting in each stich across her chain, so you chain how ever many and then just double crochet across, you could probably find some videos on double crocheting if you look

  • you are fast! i wanted to knit a scarf at first for my boyfriend, this way is easier! and your video is much easier to follow then most others.

  • how much yarn did you use?

  • I made this scarf and it is wonderful! Everyone that I have given them to loves it..Thanks a lot!

  • do you have an advanced version?

  • Ahhh ): i'm lost !

  • how many skeins of yarn did u use?

  • I really love the pattern of the scarf. I just started working on it and realized I had to do double amount of chains because it was too short, does the quality of the yarn make the difference or the loose stitching?

  • I love the tutorials! I have never crocheted before the Beret, and after watching the video 6+ times I finally got the hang of it and it turned out great! I have a book with crochet patterns in it, but Im clueless on how to read them, I dont know if you started doing these with patterns or just a visual. but if you had used one, could you post it or send it to me, Id like to see these written out in crochet pattern "lingo" to see if it helps me understand it a little better! Thanks!

  • do you use the red heart brand of yarn just asking x)

  • @michelleeftw info box has answers =)

  • @traceybeauty i don't see where it says what type of yarn :(

  • I'm so lost :(

  • love the nails.. and the scarf offcourse :-)

  • @dinhsumgirl Yes, you can crochet the ends together. If you need reference, watch my "bow accessory" crochet tutorial, it'll show you how to do so =)

  • oh! & is there an option of crocheting the ends together instead of "sewing" them?

  • @dinhsumgirl yes =) you can crochet the ends together. if you need reference, you can watch my "bow accessory" crochet tutorial. it'll show you how =)

  • @dinhsumgirl Yes, you can crochet the ends together. If you need reference, watch my "bow accessory" crochet tutorial, it'll show you how to do so =)

  • i caught on! thank you so much! (: it turned out great!

  • i made a black version of this!!! thank you sooo much!

  • what @crochetdiva6 said...i was trying to say the same thing...glad i saw your post...

  • I love the scarf. It is very pretty.

  • thank you sooooo much for making this video :] i think this is the only video online that takes you through all the steps one by one :]

  • Thank you for the video! :D it was really helpful:)

  • so.. it took me a long while for me to figure this out.. soo my mom helped me with the steps i didn't get and couldn't see because of the white; and everything else i just followed through and analyzed. Overall I love the concept of the scarf and all and im still making it =D can't wait till i finish it =D thank you for the tutorial!!!

  • so do I skip a stich every time?

  • it was really confusing but i figured it out. thanks for making the video

  • im lost.!

  • This is such a cute pattern! You did a good job making it easy to understand :) Thanks for the help!

  • i figured it out... and hey give her a break... shes a very young woman...trying to be helpful... stop being inconsiderate... just say thank you.... negative comments not needed.... and @tracybeauty to give it the "infinity" look.... make a twist BEFORE joining the ends.... and have you tried crocheting the ends together??? ps its beautiful!!!!!

  • What's this stitch called?

  • HI there, i just wanted to say that you did a great job, im in the process of making my scarf with your pattern and it is a lot of fun. Dont mind those hatefull comments you got, i think you have a cute voice and seem to be a very sweet girl so thanx for sharing :)

  • also, how come yours comes out thick? mines is so thin. is it because of the yarn?

  • @musicroxx1211 Yes....thinner yarn will make a thinner scarf.

  • Comment removed

  • so the sixteen stitches in the beginning make out the width right?

  • Very pretty pattern Tracey! I just finished making one, thank you so much! Can't wait to start the next one :)

  • I thought this one was a very simple lesson, just because I know how to crochet. My advice to you is to learn the proper crochet terms to make it easier for others to understand what the stitches are called.

  • How long did it take in total to complete.

  • Good Video! Long time ago, I didn't understand the stitches. After seeing other tutorials on crochet, now I know you was doing front posts and back posts throughout the scarf. I will try this!!

  • @jetpigjr I'm sorry ='(

  • @traceybeauty you needn't apologize the tutorial was helpful just in terms of the colour white wasn't the one for the tutorial lol well that's just me being weird about my eyes and colours but otherwise helpful... Thanks! =D

  • @jetpigjr

Tracey can't help what her voice sounds like.

Just like you can't help that you aren't a part of the 1100 other people who were smart enough to figure tutorial out.

  • Thanks!

  • I had mucho trouble with this one. For the future, please don't use white yarn when doing tutorials!

  • @womanofhabit I definitely learned my lesson haha. Never again will I use white yarn, I promise =)

  • @traceybeauty Haha thanks! It doesn't help that I'm somewhat blind already, lol. Do you think you can do this one again? Or write out the pattern? I'd really like to try it out.

  • @womanofhabit I find the white yarn perfect. Dark yarn, we wouldn't be able to see the holes :(

  • I totally made this for gifts this year! just wanted to say thank you! this gave me a lot of gift ideas!!! i went crazy..lol...you should do more tutorials!!!:-)

  • You chain loooks alot longer than mine?

  • @countryygirlll86 maybe you made the chains too tight, try making them loose

  • @countryygirlll86 also are you using the same size hook as she is? if your's smaller, then it wont be as long.

  • I made this scarf and it turned out great! Thanks so much for explaining it so well, your tutorial is one of the few on here I could actually follow very easily, being a beginner. You are a great teacher ;)

  • You are absolutely brilliant at explaining what you are doing.

Even though I am not a beginner, this tutorial was by far the best I've ever seen.

  • how much yarno do we need?? help!

  • i can barely see because of the white yarn :c

  • Love your frog ring!!! and also your tutorial finally i learn how to do a puffy scarf :D

  • Your tutorials are good but you don't tell us what size that crochet hooks are they J, K , L , M , N,etc...?

  • @internetplustv She said it in the info section. Its 5.5, which is I-9.

  • @internetplustv it depends what you want. The bigger the number or the letter the larger the hole it will give. The choice it up to you.

  • im so lost

  • Are you skipping one chain? Because it shows spaces. Thanks!

  • being all dramatic and throwing the crochet stick o:

  • Thanks a lot! Mine turned out pretty well :))

  • thankyou sooo much! your tutorials are honestly easy to follow and helpful! keep it up. <3

  • They are called chains-not knots. Also your pattern is FPDC-BPDC. (Front Post Double Crochet-Back Post Double Crochet. It would also be helpful if you could indicate if it is a size H, I, J, K, instead of just mentioning the number size of the crochet hook.

You are very helpful and I do like your video.

  • i know this might sound stupid but one of my friends was watching this the other day and i wasnt here for the beginning, and i dont know if you mentioned this, but are you using wool or yarnor can you use either one?

  • This is a project for more... Advanced ppl. To try the beginners, go to QueenBeeuty 's DIY Scarf video :)

  • im so happy i found your video :) i've been wanting to get into crocheting for awhile. i'm almost done with my scarf, thank you!

  • ok... 1... 2.... 3... 4.... 5... 678910

  • I really like the look of your scarf! When I make it, I think I'll sew it so that it makes one of those mobius scarves, a mobius is a circle with no beginning and no end, the way you crochet this makes it perfect for that. Thanks so much for posting this! :-)

  • It is a beautiful scarf and I enjoyed making it.

Thank you for this tutorial. :)

  • =o!

    thank you so much!

i was relearning how to crochet, n this

    helped a whole lot

  • One advice for the beginners: you may want to start with a project that has single stitches only so you learn and practice that first. This could be your second project :)

  • This is great! Thank you so much. I will try this.

  • wat type of yard is that

  • I did this for one of my friends but I liked it so much I had to make another one for me!

  • Hey I was wondering if you can email me the pattern for this, I am on my phone and have no comp and my phone won't load the video please take two minutes to send me the pattern I will highly appreciate it thanks

  • Help I keep losing the stitches I went from 16 stitches to 5 in a matter of about 8 rows!

  • 2:00 - 2:10 wow how did she do that that fast

  • Did you design all of your crochet projects yourself? They are awesome and so easy to make!

  • I've made two of these scarves so far and working on my third!! I am addicted!! Thanks so much!! LOL!! My husband wants me to make him a beanie...could you PLEASE make a beanie tutorial??? I have watched some video's from other people and none of them teach as well as you do!!! You do a great job!!

  • @TheNalikWorld thank YOU for watching :)

  • I will have to watch one or two more times :). Thank you!!!!

  • @mikdonaw1982 i hope you end up with great results <3

  • I liked the way you demonstrated making the scarf it looks easy I think I got it, at first looked confusing going into which hole at the beginning of it

  • @mikdonaw1982 yes, it's really confusing at first but it's actually quite simple once you get the hang out of it. good luck <3

  • Did u use the whole pack of yarn or was there leftover?

  • @demonsoulkilerz there were a little bit leftover, i used about 75% of it

  • wat kind of yarn did u use~?

    worsted weight or bulky? =)

  • @TurtleChiChi description box

  • what Letter size hook it that? like an N or J or something like that. I'm new to crocheting so i dont know what size to buy.

  • @theaterqueen214 i actually never heard of letters =( but it's by the brand Boye. You should be able to find it at walmart, michael's, or joanne

  • @theaterqueen214 I have the same hook, it's am I

  • Every time you say "hole" i hear "hoe" hahaha :) you're so adorable!

  • @mytilludie lolol me too!!!

  • @mytilludie lol that's far from my intention! thank you for watching <3

  • its a crochet HOOK not stick. but nice video.

  • @ryrythesexybeast lol i have the worst crochet terminology =(

  • @traceybeauty haha its ok you will get better :) i have been crocheting for a few years since high school but recently started again and i love it and you are good so keep it up

  • thank you so much! it turned out great! :D but next time i will try a different yarn. you're right red heart is too stiff for this kind of project. thanks again! cant wait for your next crochet tutorial.

  • @SincerelySweet1 yay! my next one is coming tomorrow. i hope you'll like it as well

  • This was great! Will you please share how you did your nails in this as well?

  • @mommaM27 thanks for watching! All I did was paint a coat of black nail polish, then 2 coats of a glitter nail polish over =) youtube guru "ahanhbarbie34" has a tutorial on it called how to get gold nails i believe. it was posted last year, I used the same concept except pink glitter instead of gold =)

  • I love your nails!!!

  • @jaimmie27 thank you <3

  • i think your tutorial is cute,and i like the way you hold your hook,is that a boye?anyways awesome,job....keep showing us,thanks!!!!

  • @aihanako1 yes, that is a boye =)

  • great tutorial !!

  • @CoutureChiic thanks <3

  • You are adorable and thanks!!

  • @susiesoapmaker awe your welcome <3

  • If it wasn't 2am and 20* outside I would go to walmart right now and buy yarn and a needle to make this!! You have inspired me to try this!! Thank you! I will be shopping for yarn tomorrow :)

  • @aprilgotgrace haha my walmart opens 24 hours so whenever i run out of yarn in the middle night, i would still go there at 3am and buy yarn. i'm a crochet addict lol

  • Thanks so much for your tutorials your the best! I thought I would never learn crochet.

  • @TheShapple yay! comments like yours never fail to make my day

  • I don't k ow if u already have this video up buy could u teach us how to chrochet a hat??? Thx

  • @ryepiesky123 i have a chunky beret tutorial =)

  • Thx sooooo much I just made my first one! Its not the best cuz I just started crocheting. but thx!!

  • @ryepiesky123 you're welcome! i love success stories hehe

  • I personally think this is more helpful than the people with the terminology and fancy cameras :) I plan on learning how to crochet soon and this will be the first thing I (try to) make!

  • @krisp723 yay <3 i wish you the best results

  • I really like your tutorials, they are easy to follow for the most part. The only thing I would suggest is to keep the camera at the same level when you start and stop it. There are times where you are out of focus or we can't see what you're doing because you've moved out of the frame. Otherwise, great job! Thanks!

  • @ladyluxvintage I bought a new camera so the quality will be a lot better from now on =) thank you for watching

  • This is cute ...what are the names of the stitches you used for this?

  • @DawnImani i think it's called the double crochet

  • @traceybeauty

    Hiiiiii,

i've loved this tutorial, your sooooo nice... thank you very much.

Want to see more crochet tutorials from you, please make more videos.

    Many thanks again, from Germany

  • @traceybeauty You are correct. It is a double crochet (dc) stitch. Also, just so it's easy for most to follow instead of calling it a knot it would be a chain (ch).

Also, may want to put your pattern up as well, which by the way is very beautiful.

  • you were a little fast for me as a beginner..but i'm gonna give this a try..thanks for sharing. :)

  • @chaihlubmaivhnub thanks for watching, wishing you good results <3

  • i love all your creations thank you for your easy tetorials!!!!

  • @bebegilz thank you for the support & watching =)

  • I'm so irritated. The scarf looks great but when I tried to make it, it was very difficult. I make my chain and then begin the first row and get lost. Please help any one?!?

  • lol i love how she says "hold up" when her needle falls (x

BUT anywayssss.... i dont get this at all \: this stuff is hard to doo...... can i just buy one cheap from you?!?!? LOL.... and how much yarn was used??

  • @MaribelisDope haha i used about 75% of the yarn roll. Keep trying, you'll get it <3

  • you are so adorable and loved the video ^.^

  • What I am having trouble with is "this hole that hole..." When I start my front back/back front pattern...I dont know what number boxes youre starting with. I'm sorry since it seems like I'm the only one having problems with this. :( Please help!

  • Very easy to follow good job.

  • I keep trying and it starts great and then goes wider and then smaller. It's sooo uneven. :( What am I doing wrong?

  • @jennakross Mine does that too! I'm having trouble keeping the right number of stitches across to keep it even.

  • My scarves always come out uneven. Does anyone else have this problem? and if so what do you do to keep on track?

  • I love your videos. The scarf is giving me some problems but I am going to keep trying because I REALLY want one lol.

  • This is so freakin' pretty! So doing this so Christmas presents. >w<! Thank you for sharing!!

  • More tutorials!!!!

  • OMMMG<333 i frickin love this stich thank you so much<333 im doing it right now! (: THANKS:D

  • Thank you so much for making this video! It was so easy to understand and know I know what I am making all my friends for Christmas ;) Please make more soon!!! <3

  • Dontcha hate it when the twist of the yarn unravels? I always thought I was doing something wrong when that happened but I see I'm not the only one. For another way of doing the circle scarf thing, check out Craftzine's video with Corrine from Threadbanger. She just joins the ends together and pretty much does the same pattern you did, just no sewing at the end. :D

  • For row 2 did you skip one sc everytime you did a dc?

  • Loved your crochet video! I thought you did a great job!

  • Does It Have To Be A certainThickness?

  • How Long Is The String?

  • its verry pretty, but how do you start with a second bol of wol if you only have little ones

because i baught little ones and i dont know how to go from the end of the first to start from there with a second bol of wol

  • Thanks for this video.. Ive made several of these.. the ripple affect makes the yarn much softer... Im almost done making a brown velvet one..

    Thanks again

  • Mine is also too tight! It has a ribbed pattern. I did everything right though! I also have a bigger hook and thicker yarn, does that matter?

  • OMG!! I think I did it wrong. ); mines look tighter and it came out as a waffle pattern. Did I not do it right?

  • You are awesome! I'm working on this now!!! I'll send you a picture when i'm finished. (:

  • what kind yarn did you use? was it acrylic yarn or wool?

  • @DubuMin She said it was Red Heart, which is 100% acrylic.

  • @omgitsbecki oo thanks :)

  • uhhhg everyone is understanding this i feel so stupid but i can only get the first part where all the hoops are made, but once you get to the other parts i just get lost. So frustrated right now D:

  • How much yarn did you use for this?

  • More crochet tutorials please!!!

  • @Infury1 i'm currently working on some =) they will be up in december
