Whoa, this movie was like a combo between GiTS2 and The Matrix. Except they NEVER seemed to wake up from the ghosthack/matrix. It was a little TOO weird to fit together I'ld say, it could use a break every now and then.

PAPRIKA.....this is what you get when you combine the work of a great novelist (Yasutaka Tsutsui) and a great director (Satoshi Kon) and a great composer ( Susumu Hirasawa) a masterpice...a classic

I didn't expect much from this one because of one snapshot I saw earlier... I thought I wouldn't like it. Bought it yesterday and watched with my friends, now I could watch it over again. At least once, maybe some more times.

Oh man, I just saw this movie yesterday... It's by far, in my opinion, one of Satoshi's best works!

It's rare for me, these days, to see an anime that feels so fun to watch, and so uplifting, even with it's storyline. The alter-ego dream world character, Paprika is so much fun, I can only wish that there was an anime TV series about her!

You're in for a treat. It's in my opinion one of the top 25 animated films of all time. (Where it is on that list is up for debate though.) I recommend looking up info on the 'superflat' pop-art movement to give some added context to the subversive elements at play in this movie by the way.
