Seeing Craig in person is a personal treat. He is much more handsome in person and the atmosphere at his show is a crackup. I love his humor.......though he can be equally serious at times, and is so intellectual. What a combination. Never dull.

He does not do any autographs after the tapings.......once its over, he thanks everyone and is gone. I have also heard that he sneaks in before the tapings with a wig on. Not sure if that is true or not. I have not seen him in standup so don't know what his choice is there, but I have a friend who is going to see him soon. Will let you know.

Conan's not a moron. He's fantastic at playing along with the audience's reactions, and his interviews are a little less... awkward than Ferguson's. But you can't beat Craig's monologues. I guess it's because they're less structured or something.

About the austrian TV shows: nay, can't really translate them. Austrians have a very odd but hilarious sense of humor. Or (one of my favourite austrian words) as you say: it's "tiaf" :D (means something like 'ribald' I'd say)
And yes, you're right - I'm not Austrian. Just living and studying/working here. Heading towards GB (Bonnie Scotland...) and/or Ireland by given time again. But I feel pretty assimilated here :)

without a doubt. and at thebiggestmoviefan, you ever thought about downloading the full shows? =) then just burn on a cd or dvd and watch from your tv just like you would if they came here ^^

its so great. i love the show but of course we don't get it on tv here in Austria. So, I check out the short videos here or on the cbs website. LOL, check out the map: Austria between Narnia and Spice World.

The whole Monologue was lovely and hilarious as always. What a pity he's not really coming to Austria... but then again, he's hardly known there. On the other hand: how many Americans know ORF shows? Well...

hardly known? i think im probably about the only Austrian who knows of him haha
and thats only cause i accidently saw his show on TV once when i was in Los Angeles anyway
by the way youre just studying in Vienna and arent originally from Austria are you?
and about the ORF shows: most americans wont even know what ORF is
but they should, theres a few ORF shows that are really good (like the "Sendung ohne Namen" for example) ..though i guess none of that stuff is available in english

About the austrian TV shows: nay, can't really translate them. Austrians have a very odd but hilarious sense of humor. Or (one of my favourite austrian words) as you say: it's "tiaf" :D (means something like 'ribald' I'd say)
And yes, you're right - I'm not Austrian. Just living and studying/working here. Heading towards GB (Bonnie Scotland...) and/or Ireland by given time again. But I feel pretty assimilated here :)

by the way since i am from Austria and live in Vienna myself, i specifically enjoyed this monologue :D
(but i enjoy all of Craig's monologues)
was nice to hear he recognized the beauty of the country when he was here in Vienna (shame i didnt meet him... should have told me hes coming, that bastard - YES there i said it!!)
