Oh, and another excellent canine run cycle can be found on rigidline's channel (it is called "3d animated wolf"). You should check it out; it's really good. I am sure you could animate something this good for sure. : )
Nice run - finally something that looks normal on youTube! It might help to bring the upper body down... looks like the dog is clopping/prancing a bit.

Animation was done with 'Autodesk Maya'
the Dog rig was provided by my school but you can find it online.
