ok.. it could just be me here... but in a way, this looks a little stupid.. i mean i dont know the whole plot or anything, so theres probably a reason, but still... him cutting off his hand seems just a little stupid... doesnt make much sense...

This is called a teaser...it's used in the film industry to get people to read the script. Obviously he has a motive but we don't reveal it....therefore people want to read the script to see what happens...

oohhh ok.. makes sense now.. im not rlly the best one for uh.. teasers.. id rather just see the whole movie than trailers and stuff. but... i am sticking with my one point.. it is pretty stupid to cut off ur own hand.. unless its like a life or death situation... which it could be.. u know wat.. im gonna shut up now.. so.. yea.. still i think id watch it
