The mtar21 and the tar21 are versions of the israeli tavor the m in it stands for micro or mini because it is a more compact version, the one in r6v2 is the larger version.

This isn't so "exclusive" persay. You actually unlock it later in the game by leveling up like normal.

Also, FYI, the gun in the first game wasn't the "MTAR21" it was actually the "TAR21" it was just a spelling mistake.

Why did the PS3 version of Vegas one say "Exclusive maps on disk" When in fact, the Xbox 360 got the same maps about a week later for free.

You see, it is all marketing. If the marketing department can twist the words into making you think one thing, they have done their job. The early weapon unlock is exclusive to pre order customers. ;)

UBI didnt want so many maps unplayed because people couldnt afford them, and they couldnt be played on unless you had them downloaded.

HOWEVER, if they integrate all the code for the TAR21 into the disk, not a seperate download, but leave it locked, it can be used by pre-order customers, but normal players can see it, and pick up and use it should it be on the ground

Incorrect. The Red pack was 800 points, the blackpack was originally released for 800point (Microsoft screwed up) and within 24 hours, the black pack was taken off the marketplace, and got put back up for free. Anyone who did pay the 800 microsoft points were refunded them.
