  • HERE'S YOUR LIEING ASS ...RUBIE BOY....

  • if i was christ and had a son i would name him jesus

  • marco rubio won, god bles him,

i am an exile-iranian who hates the islamic regime, i hope 2012 americans will send obama back to kenia, he can take nancy pelosi with him there lol

OBAMA is supporting islam, so i dont like him

i deny islam totally and i wish tea party movement the best

  • Marco Rubio has never had a real job, and he's a another closeted hypocritical homosexual, not gay, homosexual. Gay means accepting and adjusted, Rubio lives in fear of exposure. It's tiresome.

  • @Gulfporter Your wrong about Rubio never having had a real job and your apparent obsession with Rubio's sexuality is curious. Perhaps you should also focus on Charlie Crist's sexuality since it appears to be such a relevant issue in your polluted mind.

  • @pagpag05

"Perhaps you should also focus on Charlie Crist's sexuality"

We already did, hence my saying "another" when referring to Rubio

  • He said nothing of crucial importance or on (as the title suggests) "Why being a conservative matters in a GOP"...

Marco Rubio is an idiot and a disgrace to all Hispanics.

Typical Fox news soft hitting coverage on a tea party candidate. >__>

  • republicanism? - ism? I am Marco Rubio - ya'll can call me Joseph Goebbels.

  • we'll see how much it matters when it comes to election year and he is bombarded with the question "do you support arizona's immigration law? Say... would you send back thousands of illegal cubans who came to america?" Hmm...HMMMM!!!!

And then that same night on the news some other illegal kills or rapes someone O.O

  • @iheartlovebleach

He doesn't have to answer the Cuban question. He can stand on the law. Cubans who make it to the US are given automatic legal resident alien status. They are political refugees. Mexicans are economic refugees, and the US doesn't accept economic refugees.

  • Why is Marco Rubio afraid of Alex Snitker?

  • Haha! Marco Rubio was an assistant teacher to my professor at FIU--and I have my suspicions he used our 20 page research papers for his campaigns (wish I got PAID fo that). He's a nice guy, but I don't agree with his views--I'm leaning more to Charlie Crist. Nice guy, tho'.

  • Christ is a stealth Democrat.

  • @aallppiinnee Good, that is what he needs to be.

  • Marco you are a candidate from Florida, I live in CA in contrubuted to your campaign because I think you are one of the few people in this country who really do offer and alternative to the current agenda.

  • Most of Obama's package was mostly tax cuts. We're paying less taxes than we did under Bush. That's fact. And the Bush tax cuts for the rich haven't even expired yet. Yet everyone thinks we're paying more.

  • Charlie get the Obama endorsement. see how far that gets you! Florida Voter

  • @mueygringo Since Crist is running as a independent, the Obama endorsement will help him. You see, the vote is split. Democrats aren't thrilled about democrat Kendrick Meek. I think Crist will get a majority of the black vote in Florida because they view him as a moderate like Democrat. Second, the GOP like Rubio has pulled so far to the right and have been so negatively

hateful to the nation's first black president that this may surge black

    voters against any GOP candidate.

  • I hope the GOP is listening. This time we need candidates who are true conservatives, not half conservatives suchas Crist or McCain.

  • Do not trust men he is an imbecil. If it wasnt for nepotism this men would be chasing ambulances. If this men wins were all ruined.

  • I am voting Marco!!! why? simple... he is smart, energetic, young, conservative

  • Comment removed

  • Another Uppity Cuban. I'm not giving to the Cuban relief fund this year.

  • @edthewise He is a white Latino. I don't consider him a real

Latino. A latino to me is brown skilled and working class poor who have

to scrap for everything in this society. Pure conservatism

is not a friend to black and brown latino community.

  • @Mr40acresandamule He's a latin, and a catholic he is not a WASP, he is the proof that the left wing contention that the republican party is a racist party is a bad joke at best. The republican party is the party that freed the slave. Ronald Reagan is the one who welcomed Cuban refugees with open arms.

  • @Mr40acresandamule

    Pendejo, are you serious?!

LATINOS COME IN DIFFERENT SHAPES AND COLORS. WE ARE ALL NOT JUST BROWN. THERE'S WHITE, BLACK and BROWN LATINOS.

  • @Mr40acresandamule latino comes from latin that means "someone who speaks a lenguage that cames from latin": spanish, italian, french.........

    it´s not a race.

  • Faux news, what more can I say.

  • Marco Rubio has been quoted by the Tampa Tribune as saying the tax cuts provided by the stimulus packages for middle and lower income earners, weren't the "right kind of tax cut." Instead Rubio would have like to have seen a tax cut for "capital gains and a flattening of tax rates to make high-income earners more in line with lower-income earners."

This is what you are getting when you vote for Rubio... a Bush Republican that is more concerned with lowering taxes for the rich than middle class.

  • vote for another lawer!

He will be just like all the others. He wins office and he joins the club . Just like all lawers . Am I wrong, name me one lawer that has not .

He is a house rep and a lobbiest all at the same time ! give me a break!

    front runner! lmao

  • Florida isn't America? >_>

  • Check out the story in the Miami Herald. Turns out that Marco Rubio is just another sleazy Republican politician who cheated on his taxes.

  • Charlie Christ is a gay faggot. And he's not a conservative anyway

  • RUBIO!

  • This guy rocks.

  • Rubio's got it! Go down in flames Crist, you hypocritical, Obama-butt-kissing, lying, piece of crap.

  • Impressive young man here. I'm a Florida Republican and will be voting for him in November.

  • 912er's unite or die! Vote Rubio!!!

  • Actually, I think Rubio has it. Everyday shows the man with a much better standing.

  • thanks for the hope...the idea of freedom is spreading like a brush fire. You can be part of the it or just sit back like you're doing and blame everyone else.

  • Your name suits you - Disturbed.

  • @92Disturbed If you think this country is such a shit hole, move to your European utopia trader and pay their high taxes or us up their social health care. But please stop breathing our air here.

  • Europe may have worked out for you but what about the 90% of other Europeans.

America and the foundation our forefathers built made us the free country we still are. We will soon be sending you Obama or larry or whatever his real name is. Would you mind taking in Barney Franks as well.

  • The problem that I heard in this interview is Marco said Republicanism 4 times and never once said the word Conservatism. If he another middle of the road guy, I will not vote for him.

  • 912ers for Rubio!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The GOP need to go back to Conservative school an find out what it means, it doesn't mean RINO= Republican in name only.

  • Marco's got my vote!

  • VOTE for RUBIO!!!!

    Real voice for conservatism.

    NO Charlie.

  • Well said, lovedrays. Marco Rubio has my total support! Charlie Crist has proven again that he's not suited to hold public office!

  • I'm going to work hard to get Rubio elected, even though Charlie is the homeboy and my boys attend the same high school. The conservatives need to take back the party and not be afraid to stand for individual liberties.

  • @lovedrays individual liberties huh...yea, as long as those liberties don't deviate from the christians "sense" of morality...just say it, neocons only care about liberty if it earns a profit, and falls in line with their "opinion of what morality is...

  • I want YOU to have liberties bluedog. You don't even have to make a profit. Does that mean I have to follow YOUR "morality?" When you take economic freedom from people, you take EVERYONE's freedom.

  • If you really value liberties, then vote for Ron Paul in 2012...

  • You might be right about that. My sons love Ron Paul. His chances of winning is very slim, so basically I don't want to throw my vote away, possibly give advantage to democrats. Just try to elect very conservative Republicans. What can you do? I don't want another McCain.

  • Unfortunately you are right about Pauls chances. But he has my vote. BTW, there are still some good Democrats and Republicans too...just hard to find them among the weeds.

  • True, but the weeds are very high.

  • @MississippiBlueDog I am a Ron Paul supporter myself. I think he serves a better purpose getting the word out and spreading a strong message and building up the movement. There is no question he is having success there and really that is the most important thing he can do. I fear if he were our president he'd get stonewalled by both parties on so many things he'd get little done and that would taint the message. If he does run in 2012 he has my vote though.

  • @BradNC11175 I see your point, but I feel Paul, given the presidency, would tap some things in Americans not seen for a long time. Then let the 2 party smack down on Paul begin and watch the American people turn away from them. I'm of the opinion that Ron would be the most beloved US president of modern times.

  • @MississippiBlueDog I hope your right. You very well could be proven right. Really it all hinges on 2010 as much as 2012. If Paul were to make a successful bid in 2012 and had the backing of guys like Rubio, Rand Paul, Michelle Bauchman and some of these other grass roots guys/gals I feel sure will emerge he could really do some big things. That would be great! If the old guard of either party is not extricated in 2010 & 2012 again he would have a hard time getting anywhere though.

  • Rubio!

  • HE BUY CARS FROM autonation THAT HAS A ASSAULT VIDEO SHOWING WOMEN AND CHILDREN BEING ATTACK BY florida dealerships AUTONATION SEE THE TUBE ( WHEN CAR DEALERS ATTACK ) AND FUCK YOU

  • Michael Steele better be listening. And, to the entrenched RNC powers that be, we say, "GET OUT OF OUR WAY!!" YOU endorse who We The People endorse .... NO MORE RINO's. Go, Rubio!!

  • You got it! Rhino's need to find a new hobby! I wish My home state of Illinois would find a young strong conservitive instead of the republacrats the parade out.

  • Marco Rubio 2010. I don't care if he is Cuban or Russian, the trait I'm looking for is Conservative, and he is that. I can't understand how people who say he hasn't accomplished anything, think that the Speaker of the House can change laws by themselves. Crist has accomplished alot while Gov, unfortunately it was all wrong. GO RUBIO.

  • Go Marco!

  • Marco Rubio is the new face of the GOP. After 2010, the liberal media giants will be pretty crystal clear they cannot bash minorities voting Republican anymore.

  • Uhhh... Rubio was in the race BEFORE Crist.

  • I wish I still lived in Florida so I could vote for Rubio!!! GO GO GO RUBIO!!!!!!

  • It is simple. We are going to help Gov.Christ to spend his dirty money and on election day we will vote fore Marco Rubio.

  • But he never says what his view of Republicanism is...

I'm interested. I understand it means "fiscal conservatism and less government intrusion" -- fine. But right now those principles don't apply to anything that offends the Christian Evangelicals. No government intrusion, except when it comes to telling people who they can marry and whether an abortion is the right decision.

So I ask directly, what's the "new Republican" stance on social issues?

  • I feel that I'm young enough to be considered a new Republican... but I think we would prefer to be called conservatives because Republicans have for far too long, in my opinion, avoided their stances on less government intrusion and fiscal discipline.

So with that said, I feel that the best, newest Republican would have to be one that stands on issues of limited government and fiscal discipline regardless of the special interests that may lose out in the end.

  • @ultimolugar Are you of the more libertarian stripe like Ron Paul?

  • I have been a longstanding critic of what the 'Religious Right' has done to our party and I think it's time to take it back.

  • Conservatives are still socially conservative ... the difference is that they will NOT put it FEDERALLY

It will be by the STATE and LOCALLY

    Plus YOU are the HYPOCRITE

Liberals want to put it FEDERALLY

You scream that Christians enforce their views but what about people like you whom enforce their views on the population ???

Remember if you are against liberals you are a sexist , racist and a homophobic

    Touche

  • May I ask HOW you plan on balancing a budget with the deficits that have been rung up? HOW when there are a zillion new programs being financed by the government on a daily basis?

  • Rubio seems to be one of the few NON corrupt Cuban politicians in the WORLD thus I give him that but he is full of bull as far as what he has done or will do.

Cubans like myself who dont belong to extremist Cuban junta have had enough of Miami's Cuban political "Cosa Nostra".

I do give him credit for not being corrupt because that is close to unheard of in Miami but in the end voting for a moderate Gvnr Crist who has actually done things for enviroment protection , lowered property tax,etc

  • What an outrageous slur against an entire ethnic group. Cuban "Cosa Nostra," "corrupt "and "extremist." What a bigoted and/or self-hating generalization.

  • Rayarena

    -------------

it is what I have SEEN here. Its not every Cuban but its the majority. The political corruption is staggering here . You know if you live here how terrible city officials are . This is the Cuban Cosa Nostra. Instead of covering it up and complaining like most Cubans I prefer to tell people so that the do nothing officials here are not rewarded to higher office.

Rubio has done NOTHING . If he wasnt Cuban he would have been out of office long time ago

  • MtWhiteCLd,

I like to know what the source of your information is? So the majority of Cuban Americans are corrupt?!? Amazing. Sounds like a generalization to me and an unfounded generalization steeped in bigotry and/or extreme self-hatred. By the way, nobody is trying to cover up anything. Just that it doesn't advance your argument and you don't convince anyone by making sweeping generalizations that only expose your bias in such a transparent and direct way.

  • Yes the VAST MAJORITY of Miamis Cuban POLITICIANS and officials are corrupt. Sadly many Cuban voters here would vote for Satan himself if he ran as a Rep and was Cuban. There are no Reps here just self serving good speech givers. You believe in accountabilty of politicians and money? Than wake up . No Reps in Miami just Cuban politicians who know many Cubans here are incapable of questioning any rep tittle and will blindly vote for them.

  • So the vast majority of Cuban politicians are corrupt? SOURCE PLEASE. And they would vote for Satan himself if he ran as a Rep? Hmmm.. wasn't the Executive Mayor of Miami Dade County, Alex Penelas, a Democrat?

  • Look up what Forbes mag said About Miami "corruption OFF the charts".

Hmmm I wonder why, what could Miami have that other places dont have, what ethnicity RUNs Miami, what ethnicity runs the courts, police and close to every political position in Miami? hmmm what ethnicity could that be . ONLY a Miami Cuban would in your blindness stick up for these parasites thankfully the rest of us Cubans from other states now here are not as blind and do not vote like blind self defeating zombies

  • You suffer from an incredible amount of self-hatred, don't you? You haven't provided any sourcing have you? So Forbes Mag said that Miami is corrupt and of course that has to be because of Cuban Americans and of course using your simple logic that has to mean that Marco Rubio is probably also corrupt, right?

  • You still haven't provided any source for your hysterical accusation that all Cuban American politicians from Miami are corrupt. Now you even accuse Cuban Americans of being responsible for the high cost of health care and deplorable bus service in Miami.

I take back my earlier remark, you don't suffer from an incredible amount of self-hatred, you suffer from blinding self-hatred.

  • lol do you live in Miami or look at the Forbes link which states "Miami corruption off the charts" Gee what ethnic group RUNS/CONTROLS Miami?

The high cost of health care in Miami which is HIGHEST in Nation is due to do nothing CUBAN politicians who HAVE never lifted a finger for the self defeating voters.Self hatred are the zombie Miami Cubans INCAPABLE of voting for a non Cuban here.

If God himself ran for Mayor here vs a typical corrupt Cuban politician. God would NOT get elected

  • Comment removed

  • I see, so you still can't provide any source for your information.

Your only source is Forbes and your own biased conclusion based on what you allege are remarks by Forbes that there is corruption in Miami.

Like Former Miami Police Chief Donald Warshaw who was convicted of diverting $70,000 from a charity for his personal use---- perhaps?

Using your logic, he's corrupt, so he MUST BE CUBAN.

  • What is the ethnicity that runs/controls Miami politics -DA's-Police cheifs-city officials in Miami?

  • We're still waiting. SOURCE PLEASE. Other than your own conclusions based on your leaps of logic, please give me a citation somewhere from a reliable unbiased source to substantiate your conclusion that all Cuban American politicians are corrupt.

  • Marco Rubio other than speeches has done NOTHING for Miami . He hasnt lowered a penny in property tax while Gvnr Crist has. Rubio talks a good talk but does nothing however he is Cuban and thats ALL YOU NEED in Miami .

  • MtWhiteCld writes:

"The only one's to suffer from self hate are the self defeating Cuban Miami voters who blindly reelect any politician as long as Cuban/Rep."

I guess that's why Congressman Lincoln and Mario Diaz-Balart just endorsed Charles Crist for the Senate. Charles Crist must be a crypto-Cuban or something.

  • it all starts with the government saying "We'll take care of you, forget those greedy rich people." then socialism comes and then the people become dependant on the government. when that happens, communism comes-look at cuban history u bastard. btw oil prices, liberal values (More spending and gov expansion.) and the community reinvestment act killed our economy-not the free market and the rich "evil" people. get ur facts stright and read a history book.

  • Do you have any facts on the economic system in Cuba besides ones that say, "Oh, well, they have free schooling and healthcare."

Do you know what that means? The quality of it? You don't. If you did, you wouldn't be promoting it in public.

  • ur an idiot. free health care and education. Wait, they have no rights! wait, the quality of the health care and education is one of the lowest in the world! wait, people in Cuba aren't even allowed to chose their own jobs and are not even allowed to eat meat! u want to talk about cuba, speak with Rubio or someone like my father... CNNs Rick Sanchez is no Cuban-cus he supports the very policies that lead Cuba into communism.

  • Comment removed

  • Marco's a way better choice than Crist. he's young, hispanic and conservative! what's not to love

  • A true common-sense leader! Go Rubio!

  • There are businesses that have private jets and throw parties for employees that did not receive government bailouts! The principles that make up the foundation of Conservatism do not support government bailouts! There are a lot of things that Republicans have done that I don't agree with but I'm supporting Rubio because he stands for Conservative principles such as Limited Government and Free Markets!

  • Or realistically... Because of the governments involvement in the private sector executives are now scared to fly their private jets for fear of PR repercussions. Orders for jets are being cancelled so people who work for Lear or Cessna are losing their jobs. Companies are afraid to throw conventions or getaways for their employees or customer to thank them for their hard work or loyalty because of PR repercussions. The hotel and travel industry is laying off hundreds of thousands as a result.

  • Income redistribution hurts the middle and lower class most because the money that would normally be spent by those rich executives, keeps businesses from going under. That's real stimulus; stimulating the economy from the ground up! With those assets being redistributed by over taxing... that extra income that small businesses would be making goes to the government and small businesses go under.

  • a pretty face for the senate.
