This reminds me of when I lost my cat "Snowball" to kidney failure in 1998. I got her for my 6th birthday in 1983, so I basically grew up with that cat! It was so sad when she passed away...also, my dog "Bubba" died of a heart attack in 2003...I had him since he was a puppy in 1992. People who are not "animal lovers" just have no idea how much we care for our pets -- they are just another family member to us!

Here's some healing methods. Take a container and pack it with some of his pics and favorite toys. Bury it underground. Sit next to where he's burryed. Think of him. Relax. Pray like this: Oh my holy spirit, grant me the strength. Take good care of ________( animals name). Give him a good spot in the sky, I will see him one day let him be my gaurdian. Amen!!

@TwilightADICT97 i've actually owned many animals that i took great care of. about 3 years ago i owned a British bulldog i was taking him for a walk and he just fell over and died i picked him up carried him into the nearest vet there was blood all over my arm that came out of his mouth for some reason and the autopsy at the vet showed he had a serious lung infection he was born with. I think if i didnt love animals i would have just left him there.

I have always loved cats. However, every cat I've had has run away at some point. That is, except for my current cat, a little orange housecat named Dulcie. I love her so much and she loves me... when i go to bed for the night, or even when I take a nap, she always, without fail, comes to nudge and lick at my head until I invite her under the covers and then I cradle her in my arms and go to sleep. She's been with me almost 11 years now and I dread the day when it's her time to go. I'm sorry.
You're cat is soo adorable. I had 2 pets die this year. A cat named Squint died on new years and my Hamster Rascal died April 27 in my hand. My cat was the one who basically killed him. I also had a hamster die on new years 2010 and a cat die on Christmas 2007! My pets died on horrible days :(

I stayed with my cat when he was put down and I gave him a proper funeral and a burial. Do you think it is weird of people to mourn over a dead family member at a funeral? Years ago it was a common practice to photograph the dead. Customs change as the times change. Don't be so narrow minded!

I have always loved cats. However, every cat I've had has run away at some point. That is, except for my current cat, a little orange housecat named Dulcie. I love her so much and she loves me... when i go to bed for the night, or even when I take a nap, she always, without fail, comes to nudge and lick at my head until I invite her under the covers and then I cradle her in my arms and go to sleep. She's been with me almost 11 years now and I dread the day when it's her time to go. I'm sorry.

You're cat is soo adorable. I had 2 pets die this year. A cat named Squint died on new years and my Hamster Rascal died April 27 in my hand. My cat was the one who basically killed him. I also had a hamster die on new years 2010 and a cat die on Christmas 2007! My pets died on horrible days :(

I own a cat . the cat is property . all pets are human property . you feed it , pay for its vet bills , pet it , and if it gets lost or stolen or die , you simply replace it . animals are replacable you buy it with your own money even when you adopt you pay a fee . pet ownership means the animal is your property . think of animal like a window that gets broken by neighborhood kids playing baseball . if the window gets broken you can replace a new window .

Cats, dogs, horses, they all have a unique personality, no two are ever the same or ever will be. Losing a pet is the same as losing a close friend. Perhaps one day you will understand.

@CatineSkyi It is out of respect that I gave my poor little cat a memorial service. Even now, my husband does not want me to delete this video as he wants Snow to be remembered. It was a sad day. I stayed with my cat when he was put down and I gave him a proper funeral and a burial. Do you think it is weird of people to mourn over a dead family member at a funeral? Years ago it was a common practice to photograph the dead. Customs change as the times change. Don't be so narrow minded!

@MyHushpuppy My family and I had to put down cats before and we never filmed it and put them online. Yea, people had photographs of the dead when they were ALIVE and used them as a memorial photo. If you want to remember Snow, can't you come up with a better way? Like sharing images and videos of your cat when it was alive? You're celebrating its death and telling the world you'd rather share its death than moments when it was alive. I'm not narrow minded. I just think you could've done better.

Sorry for your loss, I know how it feels to lose a cat my pet cat blacky was my closest freind and a loved family member we had to get him euthinized because of severe pneumonia.
