I remembered playing this a lot at my cousin's. I really like the sea of cloud stage. Also saw that you are fighting an colaition of Asian organizations who have a giaant weather control machine called the ONI.
What difficulty is this...arcade or normal? I can only beat the game without using a continue on child and very easy, I have beat the game(just barely) up to normal. Fucking awesome game, I lucked out and got a perfectly good used copy with instructions, original case and all for only $60 on Amazon.com. That is astronomically discounted, the only other copies on Amazon were $100 plus. Lucked out. Don't matter cause I'm gonna be paying big bucks for Under Defeat, another incredible looking game.
I really need to make a new video of this, I just got a s-video cable and with youtube actually accepting videos that's higher than 240p (like this was uploaded years ago), it'll look amazing. :)
My favorite is the Hokum. Love those rays of white light! Too bad my copy has issues with the destruction sounds from the Hokum (distorted?)...still my fav..
so i got it in the mail monday, and i cant put it down. its a really great game, really increadible, one of the best shooters ever! my best score is areound 870,000. for me, apache is the ship to use. his homing special is killer on bosses.
I tried using the Apache, I just couldn't get a grasp on him. I like the homing missles on the standard ships a bit more and learn to survive the bosses.
Well, the game was japan only, officially released, just like a lot of the shmups you see over here (Anything by Cave), as well as most ddr machines. It originated over there, someone bought a board and brought it over here.
I played it on base! I remember playing the first one, such a complete change between the two. Oh, I LOVE ROUND ONE! Best arcade I've ever been to for hardcore gamers; shitload of bemani/konami games, and much more!
Go all the way down university till you hit semoran. Make a right onto semoran and about 5-10 minutes later you will see Rocky's Replay on your left. Its next to Hooters.
Better go soon though. They are actually closing down pretty soon.
what are you playing on?

This is Arcade mode. On Child and very easy, did you do both loops, or just the first loop?

I loved this game for the DC. What an under rated system. Such a shame.

Definitely in the same caliber as Gradius V! Too bad this & many like it are Japan-only games!

Which arcade and what state did you play Zero Gunner 2 at?

I played it in Japan, when they had it at Round One, that was down the street from the air base.
