can someone give me some information how to estimate CoG of this unique airplane?

@benybeeJz Do a glide test. Keep adding weights to nose till it flies level then hold it in your hands so it balances level....where it balances is the COG. Works every time....well 99% of the time =)

@benybeeJz Try to balance it on a plank that is about 1/12 it lenght in width! That will tell you where it's actualy at , NOT where it should be ! IT should be Behind the engines about 1/3 the width of the front wings Unless it's a Delta wing plane . Movement back and forth of the Engine's battery will help to Establish the exact point. At that Exact point you should Glue your battery mount . If I were you I would build the Firefox instead ! Rent the movie "Firefox" with Clint Eastwood !

Prop plans would be awesome ! Your planes fly great , just flew the pylon racer today for the first time .. It glides and tracks better than most store bought planes .. I was thinking about using elevons , then I can remove the elevator and add a rudder .. Have you tried it ?

@CrashNburnRC It's all dollare tree cheapie foamboard construction with a bog'ol wooden dowel for a wing spar. There are two Detrum 70MM EDF's the links to all the parts I used is under the video in the INFO box just click on "show more" to see all the details. =)

Another great project and video. I am interested in the PDF.

I am working on my first training type wing for the YAK11 style project. I may use the EDF version and move them to the back since with camra mounted, it will be nose heavy so trying to move everyhting rearward as far as possible and my have to lengthen the tail.

Also gettting a F18 EPO kit that I had already ordered, and your fan mods and changes to rudder will be used if possible, especially if/when I break it it in half.

@pilotdynan Cool thanks for subbin. I just took the EDF's and wrapped foam around them. There is a link to the "engine" / EDF's I used under the video so you can see exactly where I got them.

@pilotdynan I don't use depron....it's too brittle. I use Dollar Tree foam foard and peel the paper off both sides. It's plenty flexible. It's about 5-6 MM thick.

nice jet. looks a little on the heavy side. how would adding a little more wing work for ya. maybe 1.5-2inches to the front and tips of the wings. it would increase your weight per sq in and make it glide a bit better. id like to see pdf of this and of the super slow fpv prop plane u had the one u flew under bridges with and walked along side. something super slow like that i could scale back and fly at the indoor b ball court this winter

@pistolpetepeterson Yeah good feedback. Yes the wings are a tad small. I will be making plans as I have gotten such good feedback about this jet. I'm glad so many people like it. Yeah that slow plane was cool but the design was pushing the limits of the foam board. A little warpage was goin on in the wings. THe plane was so large it would have to be disassembled to fit in a car but it would have been a big pain to show how I constructed the parts so that they were removable.

blue lipo sux we got 3, 1 800mah 3s and 2 1500mah 3s and all 3 of them didnt evenly discharge and the wires for charge and balance charge ports came off! the blue lipos suck! get sky lipo!

Hey mickey keep up the great work. i love ur vids. question though. if i were to run four motor together on one plane like an AC-130 would i have to up the cells. So if one motor is rated at 2-3 cells and i run four motors on 2 batteries ran in parallel would i need to use batteries with more cells since 4 motors are running off of 3 cells at the most. i would really appreciate an answer when u have time

@GlennEnt Yeah that could look cool too.  It would be challenging to make the wing pivot point strong enough on this plane thought I think. They are pretty narrow where they meet the fuselage. Still would be a cool idea though.

@zakshaks I use Adobe Illustrator not Ketchup(pun intended) sorry. What modification did you want to try? Someone already sugessted a V tail which sounds cool. Once I publish plans you could also just try your modfication in real life.
