  • Thank you

  • This is amazing but I don't know how to use or where to get charcoal?

Any ideas maybe for a basic pencil drawing?

BTW, what pencil do you usually use?

  • @Jonathanartman Buy online. I use "generals charcoal pencil set". Most art suppliers carry them.

  • You know what you should do to get more views and subscribers...? Have a contest for something and then have the prize be some art supplies and a drawing you made :)..

  • what are the materials did you used on this still life drawing?

  • hey you copied this from a book step by step one... I have this book and it shows it the same way and its easy to follow..... something H.J or something..

  • You are one of my inspirations. I'm currently teaching myself the proper way to draw. I want to be an animator. I was wondering, do you do this for a hobby, or do you plan on using your skills to make a living?

  • @spongebob03 ummm i just do it as a hobby right now, Don't really plan to make it a living at the moment... maybe in the future, but I'm not sure :)

    Good luck

  • wooooow that is more than awesome! I love it ! you are so inspiring.

  • Completely and utterly wonderful.

A simple pot turned into art! And creatively!

    Awesome.

  • Wow. :)

  • Also, where do you buy the stuff the Teapot was made out of? Frisket film, is what I believe you called it. I'd be very interested in purchasing one of those.

  • @Yessacmidnight Ya frisket film, I found it at Michael's, not exactly cheap though. 15 bucks for 12 sheets, It goes a pretty long way though. You will need an exacto knife also... cutting this stuff smoothly after drawing the shape can be quite a challenge :)

    Good luck!

  • I think I saw you alternate from around seven different pencils. I can hardly keep track of my one...

  • @Yessacmidnight lol ya I used a couple charcoals, a couple graphite's, a few tortilions and blending stumps, a few retractable erasers. I definitely utilized a lot of materials for this one.

  • wow that looks so real its scary! Awesome job.

  • cool.

    You have some awesome talent.

i have started to use charcoal, but mine doesnt look nearly as sweet as yours lol.

  • @mslibra923 Oh I started really drawing in ninth grade about 5 years ago. And yeah Its for my mom, she really liked it!

That's cool, stained glass is amazing. I'm sure your mom loved yours too :)

  • dude... you are so good at the details you put in.. like on the wood.. it makes it look so realistic.. i can draw decently well.. but it takes true talent to be able to naturally do things like this... you are a true artist man.
