You know what you should do to get more views and subscribers...? Have a contest for something and then have the prize be some art supplies and a drawing you made :)..
hey you copied this from a book step by step one... I have this book and it shows it the same way and its easy to follow..... something H.J or something..
You are one of my inspirations. I'm currently teaching myself the proper way to draw. I want to be an animator. I was wondering, do you do this for a hobby, or do you plan on using your skills to make a living?
Also, where do you buy the stuff the Teapot was made out of? Frisket film, is what I believe you called it. I'd be very interested in purchasing one of those.
@Yessacmidnight Ya frisket film, I found it at Michael's, not exactly cheap though. 15 bucks for 12 sheets, It goes a pretty long way though. You will need an exacto knife also... cutting this stuff smoothly after drawing the shape can be quite a challenge :)
@Yessacmidnight lol ya I used a couple charcoals, a couple graphite's, a few tortilions and blending stumps, a few retractable erasers. I definitely utilized a lot of materials for this one.
@pinsetter1991 lols- not like that !-as in when was the first time you drew? i started like 1 year ago. was this your present for your mom? i made an "stained glass" painting for my mom.if it was present i am very sure your mother loved it. after all its rare to have a talent such as yours
dude... you are so good at the details you put in.. like on the wood.. it makes it look so realistic.. i can draw decently well.. but it takes true talent to be able to naturally do things like this... you are a true artist man.
you are pro when it comes to light and shadow. I usually dont put much attention to that while i draw. You are very good at that. And what was that tape hack!? i didnt see that one coming but that lost edge on that made that tea pot look sooooo prooo. Nice going man. I was planning on a mothers day drawing like this but College comes to and end this week and i have a bunch of projects to get done.
Haha, great Idea to have like a sticker to keep the area for the teapot white :D The wood looks very authentic with the little chips at the edges, very good :)
Thank you

This is amazing but I don't know how to use or where to get charcoal?
Any ideas maybe for a basic pencil drawing?
BTW, what pencil do you usually use?
Jonathanartman 1 month ago
@Jonathanartman Buy online. I use "generals charcoal pencil set". Most art suppliers carry them.
