  • I've never been smoke all of my life... I'm only 17, when i got a fucking tuberculosis and now I'm 21 and i still got it! when i'm healed.. it keeps coming back after a months/year even i always finished taking a lot of antibiotic "fixcom" for a months and months and then years.. it ruined my fuking life, i cant find a job etc.. and currently.. have it again! surprised again! fuck! so this is what their doing inside my body? i feel disgust to myself.. yuck.. fucking bacteria..

  • Not only LAM for M. tuberculosis. Acid phosphatase, for example, has been implicated in its pathogenesis. The pH of the phagosome is lower than neutral, about 5.5 to 6.5, and it's been shown that acid phosphatase production of M. TB is optimal at that pH. The enzyme cleaves phosphates from molecules such as NADPH and GTP, both of which are essential in killing of bacteria. For example, GTP is needed for phagolysosomal fusion, and NADPH is needed for the oxygen burst one the two are fused.
