  • This will forever be my favorite scene. I can watch this movie a thousand times and laugh every time. Great movie.

  • AUNT VOULA: "and inside the lump, he found teeth and a spinal column. **dramatic pause** yes. inside the lump was my twin"

    PARENTS: o.0

AUNT VOULA: OH! you hungry?! :D

hahahaha such an awesome scene! (:

  • HAHA my little sister had me watch this video.....The movie is HILARIOUS!!!

  • I have a greek side of the family. They're not exaggerating in this movie, this is seriously dinner conversation at my home on Christmas.

  • "From the hormones"! lol love how she said that

  • "yes... inside the lump... was my twin. you hungry?!" favorite scene of the movie!!! hahahahahahaha! this movie just had me laughing the whole time!!!

  • A great movie - not too many Greeks in New Zealand, but I love the accent,Cheers

  • @nixluvswiz I know there are lots of Greeks in Australia

  • Bobopsy!!!

  • One of my favorite movies

  • Yes... inside the lump... was my twin

  • I'm a Pure Greek :D

    Greetings from Thessaloniki !!!

  • I love you, Andrea Martin.

  • This is a great movie. Please check out the e book "What's Done Is Never Done." It reads just lke a romantic comedy movie. You'll love it!!

download at iBooks or Amazon Kindle or soon at Barnes & Noble.

  • I<33 BEING GREEK I DOT DAT ACCENT MADDD FUNNY

  • I'm Canadian-Greek. This movie was a comic interpretation of American-Greek family life. Overall the movie was funny and was not meant to be accurate. It makes me laugh that most Greeks from Greece hate this movie..... personally i think they are jeleous of us North-American Greeks......exo tria arxidia!!!!

  • @kolokidi

I have to say tho, comming from an italian background, I loved this movie...the culture and everything about it is very similar to the italian way of life..I am however, embarressed by the recent released movie "MAMBO ITALIANO"...this movie was one massive embarresment and an insult to the culture, in my opinion...

  • @mr12333 I agree. There is a saying in Italy about Greeks 'une facce une racce' One face , one race. People LOVE steryotypes, like Jersey Shore, but for every negative, there is always a positive representation. Ciao

  • @kolokidi This film is spot on with Greeks in the UK aswell!!!!

  • @kolokidi we are jealous of you??? hahahahaha good one!!!! ελπιζω να εχεις τρια αρχδια γιατι εγκεφαλο δεν εχεις......

  • @kolokidi I dont think it's 'jealousy' per se. It's just, the Greeks who left are probably more Greek than the ones who stayed. The ones who left clung onto their culture and traditions, where the ones in Greece who stayed want to feel connected to the rest of the world.

  • Why are we foreigners all the same lol...

  • @CosmicTruthify I have a relative that's like this. No drugs required. Love her to death, though XD

  • ahhh, welcome, the whores of the masonic order mY brothers. 2012

  • If you didn't grow up in a family with foreigners, you wouldn't get this part. It's so true....

  • @TurboVW2004 what, all of those who grow up in a foreign country have an aunt who had a 'bobopsky' and discovered she had a twin inside of her that grew as she was going through menopause? seriously? that is unbelievable.

  • @TurboVW2004 Haha, you're definitely right!

  • Hormonees!

  • The Bibobsy :D

  • The look on Ian's parents' faces is priceless! XD

  • She was hilarious in this movie."What you mean you kno eat no meat?!...It's ok I make lamb" !! LMBO!! Family...

  • bopopsy lol

  • lol, the end, you hungry?

  • If you have ever made a bobopsy, UP this post.

  • Spanakopita! You hungry?

  • I love Greek ppl!!!!!!!!!<3

  • 3 people have lumps with twins inside and they want to do the bopopopsy

  • Aunt Voula (sp?) is my favorite character!! I love her!

  • CLASSIC!

  • I am a twin and when my sister and I saw this out in the movies we could NOT stop laughing at this part!!!! Awesome move from start to end! OPA!!!

  • SPANAKOPITA!

  • "You hungry?"

    Um, not now! Lol.

  • the beauty of this movie was that just about anyone could relate to some of this...whether you were Greek or not. Personally, I thinkt hat her family was way more fun than Ian's parents. they were tight as a a clam's @ss!

  • @soni86ful AHHH, Biopsy, come from the greek word, biopsia, meaning, Bio; life and opsia; to see. So, biposy, biopsia, there you go. Put some windex on it.

  • I have this movie!! It was my first to watch when I got to the USA..! (1 year ago)!!

  • haha she was so hilarious in this movie :D

  • Guys, I know EVERY single word to this movie. I have watched it over 300 times. I even compared myself to Toula in an English paper, this movie is great!

  • bibopsy biob.. the bobopsy..SPANIKOPITA!

  • you can tell she's trying not to laugh when she's telling the story xD

  • I am having a b.b.bibopsy tomorrow, I really need to see this lmao!

  • th b..b..bobopsy!

  • @llopin100 This is a COMEDY.... thus it's mostly false but funny.... no need to get offended.

  • @llopin100 Haha, You've never met a Greek family like that? It's obviously an exaggeration but I've met several old timers that are very similar to the dad.

  • The father was so funny and cute! This is one of my favorite movies and not because I'm Greek. Funny from start to end!!! OPA!!! Yes, over-exaggerated, that's what made it even funnier! :D!!!

  • CANADIAN!

  • Great conversation starter! Share with something personal ....lol!

  • You'd have to be an epic prude to be grossed out by that.

  • from the HHHHormoneees ;p

  • cristmass with the portocallus family

  • m y idea for a new movie about the portocallus family gus and maria portocallus is this chrisstmass with the portocallus family gus and mariaa portoccallus

  • IDEA

  • stiff idiot white people haha

  • @033dsp hope you mean everyone in the video because real greeks are white. because of slavery and years of immagration some greeks have darker features read the illiad or ancient texts by poets and historians and even statues mainland greeks were nordic looking. only in the last 1000-2000 years have greeks interbread with the original crete people and southern black savages who came from africa. im not racist but tired of niggers trying to take my history i am a pure greek,

  • @033dsp not tall nor short staly and chestnut hair and light brown eyes and white skin some have blonde or reddish like nordics aswell. and i mean nigger as the real meaning somone who is ignorant and uneducated.

  • lady gagaaaah! XD

  • @SerbiaTina you are right .

  • Every family is like this; no matter what part of the world you are from, families are always crazy. :S

  • @ddpl365 not always

  • and inside the lump, yes, inside the lump, was my twin *parents look at each other with a horrifying look* bozzzoooooo!!!!!!!! opppaaaaa!!!!!!! you dont eat no meat!?! that ok. i make lamb.

  • love being greek!!!

subscribe to our greek bachelor videos!

  • And after that story.... SPANAKOPITA!!!

  • Why would anyone tell that story?!! LMAO

  • @elizaFREAK Maybe not to people I just met but I'd have to tell my long-time friends. They'd laugh so hard. lol

Is it even possible for something like that to happen is my question. O.O

  • @elizaFREAK lol i would, just to freak someone out XDDDDD

  • I love this scene. :) <3

  • Greek and Armenia are like brothers!

and as an Armenian, I say this movie is excellent hahah.

  • lol why does she tell the lump story?

  • @LetHellBeKnown lmao, thats the joke. old greeks tell pointless stories, especially when its concerning their medical stories haha

  • guys!

im greek and thx for saying that movie good!

  • Inside the lump he found teeth & a spinal cord. Yes inside the lump was my twin lol I love this movie! :)

  • Greeks are awesome!

  • Favorite movie, reminds me so much of my Greek family, plus we live in Chicago

  • LOL I watched this last night with my sis, mom, and Dad. (My Dad is Greek, 100%) LOL My dad was pointing things out every 10 seconds. XDD The dad of the girl reminds me of my Uncle George. He'll slap you, pinch ur cheeks, and then ruffle ur hair. XDDD

  • lmfao what?!

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! @ 0:57 wonderful! loooooool

  • These is a typical greek family from the 60's.....Hollywood, full of stereotypes......

  • @kouzikakouzi psh, what do you mean from the 60's? this is present day, everyday in my house XD haha, i luved this movie, because it included the craziness in all families (not just greek, or in general european families) and even though we drive eachother nuts, we love eachother just as intensely. :)

  • @Athens246 This is overmuch, my family is not like that, my friends family is not like that, hollywood use always about the same stereotypes for greeks, italians, jews etc. I can accept that is a comedy and they can show it in a different way, i can also accept that some things are true to one point but i can`t accept that this is the typical greek family as i don`t accept the hollywood stereotypes for italians, turkish, russians, japanese etc families Beside that it was not a big hit in Greece.

  • @kouzikakouzi Well, i think that mostly it had to do with people relating to how meddlesome families could be some, if not MOST, of the time. I mean, I'm from the Caribbean, but watching this movie was like being in one of my horrible family gatherings.XD Don't take it to heart, it's called comedy.:)

  • @AAAMTD No hard feelings at all and you must be proud to have such a family full of liveliness, i just though u were greek....

  • @kouzikakouzi Come on the only thing that came out of this movie his the love of a family for its member .The sacrifice of immigrant parents to give a better life to their children .

  • @misteeq64 I may be overreacted but a hate hollywoods stereotypes.

  • @kouzikakouzi Why wasnt it a hit in Greece?? I find that weird. LOL

  • @EffLabels I don t really know but i think greeks didn t found anything in common with the 'greeks' in that film..

  • Probably cause its normal for a greek family to do this kind of stuff. (lol, when I saw this movie for the first time when I was young, I didn't get what was so funny cause I'm Greek too)

  • I didn't like this movie that much (I'm Greek and I thought they were a little stereotypical) but I love this part!

  • ela re, kato edo, kaname ena bipopsi kai vrikan ena megalo kokalo... giafto einai toso megalo!

This is pretty much exaggerated but there's a hint of Greekness here... like what I said above, about the big bone 'down there', yeah...

  • haha like wtf

  • I liked the movie and I love Andrea Martin, but the WASP parents were always depicted as being frozen/paralyzed/clueless etc which I thought was both unfair and inaccurate. Real WASPs would have been trying relentlessly to be chatty and smiling and sociable to smooth over any awkwardness.

  • @naizret yeh i dont think its meant to be anti them - half is comedy is reaction so the fact they r so uncomfortable in this situatuion makes it funnier. i agree most people would be more polite but this film is broadning sterotype to highten humour - all in good fun - i dont think its predjuice

  • "Yes. Inside the lump...was my twin."

    XDDDDD

  • The Maltese are so like the Greeks! OIm half Maltese and everytime I watch this I feel like im in Malta

  • @ClassicMovieClub oh god, i'm greek and i looooove the maltese! I went to malta and met a few locals and we were so much alike, i had a blast. Same sense of humor and way of talking. My trip was amplified just cause of the locals, rather the touring.

  • @BansheeVanRaven thats what i always say to people that r going to Malta - the people are much more intresting than the place - i say try get to no someone there and get invited to a meal - than there will be a story like this told lol!

  • "You likem? I make them" xaxaxa

  • @ilovethebulls32 im glad im not the only one to laugh at that - than again i laugh at all the lines from her lol

  • This movie makes me laugh at both sides of my family, and we are not Greek, but still similar.

  • the bio-the bibubo-the bibopsy XD

  • shows****

    not shoes LOL

  • @ GreecEllen... It shoes how the GREEK AMERICANS are! and if you were greek american, greek australian or whatever you would know what shes trying to show in the movie. Of course greeks dont have their house looking like that outside... shes trying to put more commedy on it. and you should be proud cuz lots of people love this movie which means like us and our country.

  • @VLADIM86 we don't say Opa! every 2 sentences and break out in Zorba the Greek dances

  • @skatapoopy did i say we said opa every 2 sentences??? no. Of course not. Its called commedy.

  • @VLADIM86 Maybe we don't say "opa" so much, but we do say "re maláka" and "na poúme" and "vasiká" every two sentences. ;-)

  • SPANAKOPITA! xD

  • @fork89 Spanakopita is the food of the gods!

But only the sort without onions, not the other one. :-p

  • @Timrath Oh i know, my Nouna makes it every Easter along with many other greek foods, soooo good, specially when its not too moist.

  • omg this movie shows the things OVERMUCH about how is the greeks...many of what it shows is just rediculous....

  • Why greeks in movies sound like jews anyway? plus whenever they pop out a greek word their accent is just yakytiyak!

    SPANAKOPITA!
