@MrAgyoga The music is heavily influenced by Ennio Morricone. Music writer for a lot of Spaghetti Western movies. The last one is in wild arms but it is meant to sound like "Ecstasy of Gold". Ennio Morricone = Boss, meaning this soundtrack is also Boss
Honestly, I think Wild Arms has the most fantastic and memorable music among all of the games that I have played. It's been more than 10 years since I played Wild Arms, I didn't remember the story well, but I sure as hell remember the songs!!
After playing this when i was about 7 i searched long and hard everywhere from the age of 13 - 16, i love this game, it doesnt get the appreciation it should get D:
Why can't more people see how awesome this game is? Know any Fallout fans? Tell them this series is "Fallout, the RPG". It's got all the wasteland and guns they could ask for!
In my opinion, one of the best game ever made. Right up their with Legend of Dragoon awesome intro and story line. I still have my PS1 and PS2, think I'll pass it again, both games.
Song came into my head while I was taking a shower this morning, I had to come here and listen to it. I still have the game, maybe I should finally finish it...
T_T i miss playing my play station ... i play 16-18 hrs for this game everyday... hearing this song brings back my childhood memories *sigh* my happy memories never fades with this great game
Just started playing this game for the first time a few days ago. I must learn this song on guitar... and all other music like it. I will then take out my guitar, moodily lean back against some old tree in partial shade, put on a cowboy hat, and serenade all of my college campus on the way to class in the morning.
@360ElGringo Go away man, its similar but so are loads of other artists music similar to other stuff... Nobody cares. If he did borrow the start then he transformed it into his own song, its not like he borrowed a full song. Music is about influence's and maybe this song influenced him and he turned it into his own. Just goes to prove... Love him or hate him, everybody's captivated in Pete Doherty. True Genius.

@DustyMuffinsss Thank the lords I'm not the only guy that this happens to. No matter how long it's been since I first played that game, it'll always get me deep down inside every time I hear this amazing song.
Even if you don't use your ARM in the Rudy VS Zombie battle, they still tell you to GTFO because a guy was going through your stuff for absolutely no reason.
That's because Kill Bill was based on some classic spaghetti westerns and Japanese exploitation films. Listen to some Ennio Morricone soundtracks from the Dollars trilogy and you'll see the reference.
I had already played the game and sold it. On an afternoon, this song came to my mind. I took my car and drove it to the game shop. Bought the game back just to hear this song watching intro. Best 45$ of my life, I swear.
@Toksyuryel When I did that it was back in 2001 or so. There was no other way I knew about at that time. Anyway I do not regret it at all because I still own it! Glad to hear people can now play that awesome game for cheaper!
was a great game but dont forget the others like Legend of Dragoon, Grandia 1 and 2 and i think final fantasy 7 was great but would never live up to the sad yet great story of final fantasy 9. I think though that Wild arms made its greatest sell from the epic story and the fact you used guns instead of the usual sword rpg you see all the time. well hopefully they create a new story for us on the ps3 soon i really looking forward to it.
its very easy to forget...... not every rpg was as good as this in fact very few rpg's lived up to this one in terms of :story, epicness in general, music and overall feel of a great game.... god i miss this game so much
Epic theme song! One of the best RPGs ever made. I also loved the opening video with the book turning its pages. Definitely memorable after all these years.
that whistle just dissolves all of my problems away, and gives my heart wings... that's why i listen to this song every time i'm down or upset... it's so heartwarming and beautiful...
god i f*cking hate the way you learn sword skills. i spent 2 1/2 hours learnin the final skill, then guess what? i died. had to do that crap all over again. even tho this game pisses me off, its one of my all time favorites. love the song.
