both versions are accurate, you need to consider that in sy there are 2 guitar players, thats the reason of the 2 versions

rock band is no where as good as guitar hero. who cares if you can play drums or sing and whatnot. guitar hero is better. it has better songs and better calibration that doesnt suck with an hdtv like mine

actually rock band has more accurate timing window, and ever heard of MANUAL calibration, witch u have to do on both, and its not way too easy in any way, it does recuire skill, for me im as good´ in both, but my friend likes rock band more but isnt good at it cuz of the timing window

GH makes you play notes that arent for guitar or even in the song, like bass notes and the start of TTFAF is a keyboard.

the argument has been debated and debated over and over. and the answer ALWAYS has been that they use a spanish acoustic guitar to play the intro for the album version, but live they use a keyboard because they can't pause to switch to electric guitars.

I will agree with you in that Guitar Hero does a little more charting of synthesiser bits... see When You Were Young and Knights of Cydonia. I think some of the later on bits in TTFAF are done on arpeggiators too
