Hi, what is this movie called? I would like to see this in English. I saw this when I was little and it brings back memories. Please tell me what it's called in English.
yes, there's a lot of usefullness in this language (pacifism, fairer world, cheaper travelling around the world, reading books, listening to music...) It's also very good this one: it greatly helps to learn other languages faster and you improve your mother tongue too:
2) In a experiment in Paderborn (Germany), a group of students was divided into two competing groups. Group A began learning English in third grade, while group B took Esperanto courses in preparation for third and fourth grade and began teaching English only from the fifth grade. The program of group B in Esperanto invested 160 hours in total, which may seem like a big waste of time.
However, according to final results, in the seventh grade (which in Panama is equivalent to junior year) already group B had reached the same level of English language which showed the group A. Surprisingly, in the eighth grade (our sophomore year) group B had a much higher level of English to the group A. In other words, those students who benefited from the study of Esperanto earned more time of the invested in that preparation.
A group of students with Hungarian as their native language, studied Esperanto for two years in third and fourth grade, and was then divided to analyze their learning of Russian, German, English and French.
PART 2 According to the results, the study of Esperanto produced a 25% improvement in learning Russian, German 30%, 40% for English and 50% for French. In other words, children who had studied Esperanto in advance, learned other languagessignificantly faster than students who had not had this previous statement.
Yes I'm not speaking spanish. I'm Indonesian, its in my profile. We have more than enough native languages to learn that even english is not that common :)
I'm just saying,
Beside I saw this vid with my laptop speaker and in the crowd, maybe if I use headset it will sounds different. But still, how should I know if its different since I'm not speaking spanish? :P
well ok, i'm spanish and i can talk in english, french and italian, and i can say you that , esperanto doesn't sounds like spanish, because spanish has special pronunciation in a lot of words, and espetanto has always same pronunciation.
@htfcm Everyone thinks Esperanto sounds too much like anything. Nazis still think it sounds too much like yiddish. Though, once you get the hang of it, it sounds pretty much like Esperanto.
Tiu filmo interesas. Tamen, Lernu jam havas bonegajn lecionojn. Sed estus bone por lerni Esperanto. Mi ŝatus provi Mazi kurson por la japana, ĉu ajnulo scias kie mi povas trovi kurson?
I've just started learning, but if I remember correctly, Ki- as a prefix shows a question word, and -o as a suffix means it refers to a thing. So "kio" means "what...?" and starts a question :)
With another ending, like -e, that would make "kie" and mean "where"
I'd look it up to make sure I'm right, but lernu is down right now (AHH APOCALYPSE)
technically there are native speakers, those children born from a pair of parents who only speak Esperanto as a way of communicating around the child. They pick the language up like they would any other.
nun mi komprenas de kie venas la "Je la kiom komenciĝas la afesteno? -Tute ne, la festeno komenciĝas frue! -O, ve, do mi malfruas! -tute ne, la festeno jam komencis. -Karlo, ĉu vi aŭdas min?" En la KD de Pafklik. Haha, tro da fungoj.
Dankegon! Mia nevino kiu jxus ekhavis 5 jarojn komprenetas esperanton jam kaj cxi tiu video certe estos granda helpo al sxi. Do mi nun spektos gxin kun sxi! Dankon milfoje!

Sadly, most of the videos featuring Esperanto on YouTube are quite bad. This was very well done, however.
It would be cute to animate "Esperanto por Infanoj" by Solomon. I love those mice. :-)
