  • I wish to Christ this was NIN's permanent lineup. Freese, Finck and Meldel-Johnson are such phenomenal musicians. It makes me sad I never got to see them live.

  • Yes.

  • what the actual fuck. dude went in

  • NIN did age graciously. Few bands can do that. They still rock after 28 years! Due to Reznor's right pick of studio and live musicians. The man's a beast. I mean he put up some of the heaviest acts of the 90's and 00's, and still produced a beatiful album such as Ghosts, for free! I mean, come on, really, how more the man can accomplish? dying on stage and reviving? Thanks Trent for all these years of fine music.

  • @gabrielalejo83 Mistypo: 28 > 18 years.

  • fast-ass technical fucking drumming, i think he steals the spotlight from trent here haha

  • Josh Freese is fucking sick. Absolutely awesome, I want one.

  • Um. Wow.

  • At least the drummer doesn't have to play The Perfect Drug

  • Music isn't my cup of tea but Josh Freese is the frekin' man. Amazing player!

  • Poor drummer!

  • That was just insane. Downright amazing. And that drumming.holy shit!

  • Josh Freese isn't human, he's a beat robot.

  • JIZZZZZ IN MAAHH PAAAAANTS!!!!!!!!

  • 1:54 Josh Freese is melting his drumsticks.

  • josh 'arms of steel' freese!!!

  • Don't get me wrong, I love NIN, Trent Reznor is F'ing awesome, but they sound so much better live! So much power and emotion.

And I love how much anger Trent puts in his voice when he says "get away with with it". Makes me wanna tear something apart :D

  • amazzing

  • Josh Freese and Justin Meldal-Johnsen... rhythm section dream team.

  • I love these rehearsal vids, I wish more bands put out stuff like this.

  • @jh4124 yeah it's as cool as Radiohead´s "From The Basement". But with more power!

  • @jh4124 @jh4124 yeah it's as cool as Radiohead´s "From The Basement". But with more power!

  • Someone missclicked...

  • OK JOSH FREESE WE GET IT. YOU ARE GOOD AT THE DRUMS.

  • FUCKING EARGASM! Everyone was amazing here, even more so than usual which is amazing :D

  • josh fucking freese is awsome!

  • lol at 3:19 finck looks like he jizzed. ghreat drumming btw!!

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! \\(>O<) //

This song makes me wants to break everything in sight and go craaazyyyyyyy!!!! Must always play this on max volume!!!

  • May they please tour again, and soon!

  • FUCK that was great!

  • RAW F*CKING POWER! God, I love NIN!!!

  • Dang. That's some intense drumming.

  • Awesome...

  • Awsome,

NIN doing a loud warehouse jam.

  • Just love these!!!! So Hot! just True-Blue Rock & Roll Heart.... crystallized down to a pure pulse pathway for ALL the sweet blood of any and all ears they come to capture, for sure! If One's circuitry felt even just a wee bit sluggish-slow, that condition no longer holds true. Thanks much; I love watching rehearsals of a Great band as they are collectively coming together for "live" Shows! Something ordinarily remote without internet sharing. Again, much thanks

  • i have no clue what you just said, but i think you like NIN so rock on haha

  • @WOGNUMBER1GODFOREVERYES! If anything in this life is to be of relevance and merit (which means TRUE for YOU) it will Always be found in that First, initial Feeling.. and to respond, in likeness, with Heart and Soul, you know, in the most important ways (which is Trueness to One's Self), what is Real, what Communicates, and Be, EXACTLY where You AND Your Heart Belong, not to be smothered by the Falsities of Pretentiousness. I believe Rezor to be an Artist of this mind, His OWN.....Rock ON!!!

  • i still have no idea what you said haha!! but yes trent reznor is a genious and will be forever remembered as one of the biggest contributing factors to the evolution of music :)

  • i love the sneaky hi hat at 0:39

  • the build up is magificent!

  • What is Alessandro playing near the end. It looks like he's pulling a string on his keyboard.

  • I fucking love the slip

  • That drum part is an endurance test to say the least but to play it as flawlessly as this guy is very impressive.

  • josh freese is one of few drummers who can drum for nails.

  • josh is a fucking beast in this song!

  • 0:04 BUY APPLE

  • no.

  • Only the best for Trent Reznor.

Vote it down you PC lovers!

  • This is a kick ass song!!!!!!

  • What the heck is he playing ay 3:08? I think i've seen another band using something similar

  • radiohead likes to use those

  • somebody watched scotch mist

  • it's called the french connection. it's a controller based on one of the first electronic instruments ever - the ondes martenot. there are videos on youtube demonstrating both.

  • Nine Inch Nails, all of there albums are great, every album he puts out is good, he gets better and better every time??

  • They are all amazing musicians but I'm in awe of the drummers Trent picks. They have to be very heavy but also be able to play the complex time signatures and fills. This guy is incredible! The finale of the song has some of the best drumming I ever heard in NIN.

  • It's Josh Freese he is incredible indeed

  • @mindstormsabrewin yeah, Josh Freese is a legend!

  • @mindstormsabrewin Josh Freese. Wiki him.

  • yeap yeap, the lights in the sky tour had the best band lineup.

  • no way!

    DTS era for life!

    imo ;)

  • DTS?

  • The Downward Spiral

    sorry lol

  • totally agree

  • There isn't and never was a band that was on the same musical page that this NIN lineup has now... and the way Trent uses modern technology to his advantage is amazing and exciting to watch... Last the albums are the best by a long shot and are only getting better... hopefully he chooses to stick with the crew he has now because they are all disgustingly talented. <3

  • lol@ Robins face at 03:20

  • great song, and i think it is clearly about george w. bush! one of my favorite nin songs in a long time, definitely! i really liked the slip!

  • well one song certainly is clearly about bush, and its one of my all time NIN favorites:

    Capital G

  • trent said that G stands for greed..... but iono i guess it can interpreted in different ways.

  • I can't believe this has been viewed less than 7,000 times.

  • Not too much better now. =/

    Bit closer to 10,000, though

  • Fucking love his Les Paul in this vid, want one identical....

  • How come the band members change so frequently?

  • he usually changes them every tour

  • Everything in studio is Trent, he may ask someone to play drums, or do some parts, but Trent writes most EVERYTHING. He hires people to play it live, since he is only 1 person. =O

  • I'm so glad I got to see this line up live, especially with Allesandro and Josh!

  • Amazing stuff from Josh! His wrists and ankles must be made of steel.

  • this song should b on Rock Band!!!

  • it totally should!!

  • josh freeze the greatest drummer, robin the best guitarist of nine inch nails

  • josh freese and Chris Vrenna... my favorites drumers in NIN.

  • NIN the best in this f*ck world

  • Josh is on fire!

  • and HEAD DOWN?

  • Yeah I love Josh. He's the best!

  • Josh is freaking out on those drums! I love this song live

  • This was pure awesome! Love the ending!

  • This version has so much more energy. I like when he really starts to scream at the end of the chorus. I'd love to see what Trent can do in a metal band to mix his vocal style in with some brutal growls.

  • Agreed! Metal side project anyone!?

  • Cool, powerfull!

  • The live version of the songs from The Slip are definitely better than the album ones. The guitars are much more powerful.

  • what is that touch sensitive instrument that guy is playing?

  • French Connection controller.

  • the drummer is a BADASS

    badasssss

  • drumer rules)

  • sweet stuff.

  • Rate all his videos 5 stars and favorite them all

trent is with the partnership program on youtube, doing this gives him money.

this is our little "thankyou" for years of great work, and the free "The Slip" album

    Thankyou trent!

  • @OmenOfOdin no need to kiss ass, when it kicks ass

  • @OmenOfOdin how do you rate 5 stars? i clicked on the Like (thumbs up) button even though the song does nothing for me. tooooo much energy (fast). perhaps it'll grow on me. enjoyed watching though - naturally. :)

  • josh makes that new turd look like exactly what he is.

  • Josh was just a hired hand just like the new guy. The only people who haven't been hired hands in NINs history is Robin Fink, Charlie Closure, Alessandro Cortini, Chris Chris Vrenna.

They have all had writting credits, which If my memory serves me correct Josh Freeze doesn't

  • i'm pretty sure that the slip was a collaborative effort with the band. I think trent said it was strange writing as a group, but anyway, my point is ..you forgot atticus ross, he has ghosts writing credit on all tracks i think

  • Love it!

  • Come to Poland :D!

  • Sweet

  • Excellent stuff, as always.
