I HATED THIS MOVIE SO MUCH they lifted more dialog from that TV miniseries with Ray Winstone & Helena Bonham Carter than they did from the damn book! I HATED IT IT WAS RUBBISH TOTAL RUBBISH
Why is the International trailer so much better than the US version? Weird. No doubt this will be a defining movie in Tudor history. I never even realized Anne Boleyn had a sister until this book. The film is going to be awesome though. Counting the days....
I wouldnt get my hopes up The buzz around the film is not positive apparently it was supposed to come out in October but it did so badly with test audiences & focus groups they had to re-shoot & re-edit it & pushed the release date with to december then to march we'll have to wait & see
Oh and also he was a nasty disease infested perv who just wanted to bang everything he saw....the scumbag died of syphlis. Anne didn't have a chance in hell. She was destined to be beheaded simply because she was in his path.
Well Anne did miscarry before Elizabeth I think and it was a boy or it was a stilborn I think. Unfortunately men were sadistic dumbasses and actually thought we have some control over deciding the sex of a child when in fact its really the male that determines the sex. Idiots..explains all the murdered innocent people by EuroRoyaljerks back in the day.
I am almost done reading the book so yeah she couldn't bear children after her first born with Elizabeth. It was intense because after elizabeth, she rushed to be pregnant again.
It really wasn't Anne's fault. Henry had alot of sicknesses from sleeping around (some think he died of syphyllis.) He had problems with having children during his marriages to Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, and Jane Seymour. Her son Edward was weak and sickly later dying at 15. Obviously, the wives were not at fault but the King. Of course, no one would dare blame the King for his inability to produce healthy children with the exception of Mary, Elizabeth, and a few bastards like FitzRoy.
I've just started on the book. It looks good so far.

I read the book as well. I was just wondering why that line was in the trailer when everyone knows that she had one daughter...

I wish Katharine of Aragon had died instead of Anne.

But neither of them deserved to die! WHAT is your problem did her ghost run over your puppy or something?

I hate how she's made out to be a saint when she was just a bigoted murderess.

It states that Anne is the elder sister, when in recent history had proven(somewhat) that
Mary was the elder sister. Their ages however are very close. I firgure Anne was born 1501 or 1502 and Mary 1500 or 1501.
The movie looks awesome and iam stoked for it!!!!!

Yes. Some even think Anne was born in 1507, but most discoveries point to 1501 for Anne and 1499 for Mary.
