Don't rush it, drive calmly and make sure the car you choose to drive is fast, but durable, b/c you probably will hit something. Also, the train follows the same path, so if you fail once, at least watch/keep in mind the route.

This mission is a pain in the ass if it's your first time playing it. I started replaying GTA 4 two nights ago and this mission was a peice of cake but omg. If you miss 1 turn or turn down the wrong street by accident while following the train, you have to restart the mission.

when i did this mission i just took the road and didnt care for the train, just follow the tracks and let the red clip stay in your radar, you dont need to have a complete visual on the train itself...the games lenient that way, but yeah its a pain in the ass to fail this mission and retake it from the beginning...
