@gopackers9995 I actually like this better, as I'm sure a lot of people do. Cobus is extremely skilled, but I don't like the way he does his covers because he completely dominates the song. Sometimes you just want to see how the song is supposed to be played. And other people want to see crazy skills. So I'm actually glad I COULD find someone who does covers like this, especially since it seems he has the exact same taste in music as me. Paramore is really fun to drum to :D

this is a nice, clean, not overly-complicated cover, which i like. however, i noticed that you keep using the same fill over and over (the one at 1:00 1:08 1:13 1:17 etc.) it sounds good, however it makes your playing predictable. just try and vary it a little bit. but dont get me wrong, this is still a great cover

Cobus ruined that song, this guy did chad justice. I am tired of hearing how impressed people are with Cobus's cover.. He overplayed the shit out of it and ruined chad's masterpiece. I think this is a million times better than Cobus's cover. Cobus looks like he's trying to break his drums. He plays with too much force. I know people like to add their own flair in a song but I don't think Cobus was very successful, in other songs he is however. chrsharvick29 on the other hand focuses on nailing every little effect that Chad Szeliga does. And nail it he did.

He looks like he doesn't have as much control because he gets really into it, but that only shows how much sheer joy he has in his playing.
