I'm using only my memory here, but if I remember correctly, The vocal was recorded in the 50's whilst the guitar was added later on in the early 60s. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
Just cleaning up a copy of the 'Cherished Memories of Eddie Cochran' EP that I scored for a bargain price of 20p today! This is the best of the 4 tracks that are on it!
Ahhhh...this Eddie Cochran is on speed, good speed, natural speed...rockin' speed. A natural born rockn'roller to blood n' bones. Was he kool or what? The best that camed around the block, and many never ever noticed it/him. Poor people. ^_*
Who's Rockstar? These are alternate takes that were recorded in 1958 but first released in these 1960 and 1963 albums. There is another version which was release as a SP in June of 1958, with the A side being "Teresa".
I wish my copy of the Memorial Album was as good as yours. First thing I bought with my first weeks wages in August 1960. Everyone borrowed it and played constantly in those days. I also bought a black flying jacket . Great days

@RadioRecordClub There is Pretty Girl on British Memorial Album 1963 but it`s different from this version !It shoulb be called Ah Pretty Girl!
