Dawn, if that is the way the military handles a few female troops I do not want to see what happens when the draft coms back with women included in there.

The Army does give out condoms...or try abstination? She got herself into her predicament and so have many before her.

I'm in the armya nd I have to say that this is her choice. She has broken the army rules already. There is no fornication allowed while you are in Iraq. Why didn't she obey the rules?

Well she didn't get pregnant by herself. There had to be a male there somewhere that didn't follow the rules either

That's completely true but during my time in Iraq I watched two or three females become pregnant, the men were scolded and often lost rank for the incident as well. The women tend to not lose rank but are sent back to their original duty station (Germany, USA, etc.) until the baby is born and maternity leave is over.

Well I didn't say she was right either. My brother is in the Army and I have checked into going into the Marines. Frankly I know the guys and women over there are going to get horney, fact of life. I'm a chick I will admit it chicks get horney too. Infact they probably get horney more then men, I know I do, but thats not the point. Just takes two to tango.

Nah, I agree. Anyone who gets someone pregnant and doesn't man up is an idiot anyways. I understand the 19 year olds or the 20 year olds who are a little green to the ears. Anyone who is a sergeant rank or higher though should know better as they're trying to put forth an example of leadership.

Wow. I would be very curious to find out what ever happened with this woman and her situation. Don't even get me started on how the army handles rape cases. ugh.
