  • could i catch rabbit, fox, coon, etc in this trap?

  • I believe you can adjust the trip plate length by cutting the trip wire shorter.

  • Great traps, however I do agree that the trip plate should be closer. I caught two gophers, both were snare on the lower part of the body. Both died but wasn't an instant kill. The big one actually crawled over the trap instead. I caught a smaller one, but it didn't spring the trap until the entire upper 1/3 was through the trap. I don't like the fact that they tear up my lawn, however I don't go out of my way to kill them either. I wonder if I can modify it. cheers.

  • these are great traps.

  • I never understood these traps and don't believe they're humane, the trip plate is way too far from the jaws, seems it would grab around the chest or abdomen instead of the head and neck.

  • they don't work for shit.

  • @SavageHmr

they work great, but from experience i have found out that it helps to steak them down with a string tied to them or they will get pulled down further into the hole, and put them where the tunnel starts to level off or they will just push dirt over the trap

  • That looks good.

  • The trip lever has a hook or little extension that hooks onto the jaw platform. The guy points to it at 59 seconds.
