@ArtistNR For sure! You fly enough sorties, it's not an "if" but rather a "when". One thing I know, I dealt out WAY more than I received. :) On any given evening, I would score around 20 - 25 kills, and go down maybe 3-5 times. Sometimes better, sometimes worse, but that's an average.
@HayateAce If you are flying a 1oo% simulation with no outer views, limited armor, fuel, fallter and gyro effects...head banging engine overhiting...and as good as the best rated simulations pilots world wide: well it should have took you to play it for 10 years to acheave by shooting in average 3 planes per mission that dures for at least one our...i would say you'r just a poser
@Yevv Sounds like you're one of they guys I've shot down. :) If you know IL2 AT ALL, then you know the better pilots would routinely score in the 2,000 - 2,500 point range per evening session of around 4 hrs. IL2 scores 100 points per engine, and I rarely went after bombers. As far as settings, most of the time it was full switch. Sometimes externals on, NEVER cockpit off.
