KK is an arsehole!!!! I lived in Zambia in the 80's and watch KK destroy that rich and beautiful country, enriching himself, his family and cronies. Then he blamed his failure on the 'racist colonialists'! same old thing. Tragically, the poor suffer the most. It'll take africa many more of their kind before the masses become cynical and not trust their leaders. Charities like this mean well, but are misguided. They aren't going to solve the no 1 problem in Africa - corrupt leaders like KK.

Kaunda still lives in Zambia and he stole no money. The mines he left have been sold off for nothing and you think he is an asshole? What part of your diseased brain made you think that? The poor are suffering more now even when copper prices have sky rocketed. He was no economist that is why he spent more money educating Zambian. And mind you, Kaunda and Nyerere took down Idi Amin when idiots like Edward Heath supported him. Check your facts before shitting all over somebody.

Dont you know how to think? stole no money? of course he did; thats why is one of the richest people in Zambia. Of course the IMF and world bank knew the money was being stolen but continued to give it. Now zambia is in debt and when the US and Brit need votes in the UN zambia votes in favor of US (i.e. Iraq invasion and against trying US officials in internation courts). It is out of respect for bringing the end to colonialism in zambia that no one speaks out about the money.

You pulled that one right out of your arse! Fredrick Chiluba brought Scotland Yard to investigate Kaunda and they found nothing. People that stole were those that worked for Kaunda and most of them ended up working for Chiluba and later Mwanawasa Kaunda's only sin was to overspend on his neighbours' struggles like Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Namibia, Uganda and South Africa and not asking for money back. The Americans demanded their money back from Europe after the second world war.

Unless of course you benefit from their activities (ie have them support you as president for life in exchange) He had a almost a 30 year headstart to hid the money. You hid the money in foreign countries that only ask for serial number as an indentification and no one will find that money. What do WWII reparations to the USA have to do with this?

You are speculating my friend. You cannot substanciate any of the nonesense you are alluding to Kaunda. The people that stole in his government were either locked up or they ran away. E.g Mark Chona escaped to Australia after he was found out but later got a job in Chiluba. The money was never stolen, it was misused.

Zambia was an elected member of the Security Council in 1987 and 1988. And during the 2002 and 2003 when the US was going to Iraq it was Cameroon's turn.. so I think you should check your facts NCAgentsX.

Oh How Wonderful to see KK. I was born in Zambia and lived there till i was 21. I have always revered Dr Kaunda. He is a wonderful HumanBeing. We should have many more like him in Africa.
