exactly. we love our country through thick and thin. what makes us patriots is that we are always proud to be citizens of our country at the end of the day. we always love our country and are always proud of our identity. and we are vocal about our pride and support. its not the government patriots love. its the country, and those citizens who proudly serve it.

It's a very good point. Remember, as the media likes to remind us frequently, those who support the mission in Iraq and the President are in the MINORITY. When the going got rough, we did not jump ship like followers do (followers, parrots or SUNSHINE PATRIOTS like to always be in line with popular opinion).
