I have a challenge for only the most hardcore Nickelodeon fans.. Well, when I was a kid(11) I had this green monster toy with red fangs and it had rubber tentacles instead of hands. Well, one day I was watching welcome freshmen and noticed Mr. Lippman had the SAME TOY on top of his filing cabinet in a few episodes. I have long since lost the toy and have no idea what it was...but it was so cool. I want to find this giant, green monster again...and this was the only place I knew where to start.
If anyone could help me find it, I swear I will get you something amazing. I have looked and looked. =( I assumed people that appreciated retro shows would also like retro toys, or at least may remember what I am talking about. Thank you all so much. =)
It took me forever to remember the name of this show. I only vaguely remembered Mr. History, and this episode. I tried forever to find a 90's television show with a Scottish Janitor and a kid being tried for Vandalism. Dear God! Now my brain can rest in peace, but does anyone have the rest of this episode? I'm pretty sure it goes on from here.
Wow, ever heard of Rosy Retrospection, people? I was a kid during this time too, but you have to look objectively and realize this is NOT quality stuff.
I miss my childhood. I remember this being a part of my summer programming when I was little along with Pete & Pete, Alex Mack, Salute Your Shorts and Are You Afraid of The Dark.
holy shit!!!! I can't believe how long it's been since I've seen this show. I must have been about 11. I had the biggest crush on jocelyn steiner. Then my brother actually meets her at freshman orientation (she was a sophomore) at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, and gets me her autograph.
@djaudiorage66 "Out on the road today I saw a nickelodeon sticker on a cadiliac A little voice inside my head said don't look back you can never look back" I know it sucks man I wish it were still here but the sad part is it's not and it will never be the same.
god nick was so sweet back in the day with welcome freshman, my brother and me,Clarissa, you cant do that on television, hey dude, double dare, fifteen, and salute your shorts and of course great cartoons like rugrats, doug, hey arnold, etc GOOD STUFF! i wish we could get a deluxe DVD set with some of these shows on them
i have the opening song to Pete and Pete on my Ipod. (Hey Sandy by Polaris) Sometimes I rock out to it when driving to work. i miss the 90's, being young, and having no responsibilities except for not missing an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark.
whats the show where they live in the forest and theres a talking ape thing and they keep getting attacked by lizzards, and they also live in a tree house
wow! these people have really big hair! and their clothes are funny looking!:P but im sure when im like 40 i'll look back and think "what the heck was i wearing?!" but i am just a Freshman this year:) so i have a while before i have to worry about that!:P haha!
I loved watching this when it first came on Nickelodeon. I started my freshman year in 1994 :) I liked the Nick shows: Salute Your Shorts, You Can't do that on Television, Hey Dude!, Fifteen, Welcome Freshmen, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, Augh! Real Monsters and then when they first introduced us to Snick (Saturday Night Nick) and Are You Afraid of the Dark
@luvdabuff wow nice, i watched this when i was really little but i didnt understand the concept since i was so young i think i was like 6 lol. acting must have been way diffrent back in the early 90's huh?

It's bad enough that Nickelodeon's lineup today is so clogged full of crap, the least they could do is have DVD releases of the good shows from Nick's Golden Age like this one!
Seems like companies put out shows on dvd in a crappy fashion and then say, "See, look at the sales. No one wants to see it". Well if you put out crap or stuff in a crappy fashion, it does not take an Einstein to realize you will receive crap in return".
you cant do that on telvision, salute your shorts, this show, hey dude, the original 3 nicktoons, plus rockos modern life, DOUBLE DARE, pete and pete, etc etc
I had a silly "extra" role in a made for tv movie with Walter/Rick Galloway around the time this show was on and had a HUGE crush on him. Thanks for posting these!
