  • Hey guys uploaded a ep to my youtube page!!!!

  • this brings back a lot of good memories.

  • HOW DID IT END. IS THIS IT???

  • lol I was 1 year old

  • Wow. I was 9 years old when this show started.

  • Comment removed

  • I have a challenge for only the most hardcore Nickelodeon fans.. Well, when I was a kid(11) I had this green monster toy with red fangs and it had rubber tentacles instead of hands. Well, one day I was watching welcome freshmen and noticed Mr. Lippman had the SAME TOY on top of his filing cabinet in a few episodes. I have long since lost the toy and have no idea what it was...but it was so cool. I want to find this giant, green monster again...and this was the only place I knew where to start.

  • If anyone could help me find it, I swear I will get you something amazing. I have looked and looked. =( I assumed people that appreciated retro shows would also like retro toys, or at least may remember what I am talking about. Thank you all so much. =)

  • @DanceTheSpears maybe it was a Boglin?

  • @grundisgrok While Boglins were amazing, that wasn't it. But I really appreciate your suggestion. =)

  • this show along with Doug and Rugrats were the shit. Talk about simpler times in life now u all gotta work and making a living and shit wtf???

  • How did I not know this show existed? I was five when this show debuted.

  • ahaha the scottish guy

  • God I miss this show.

  • miley cirus? was she ever not? pretty sure some music execs manufactured that.

  • OMG i miss the 90's

  • saved by the bell for stoners!!!

  • What a great intro.

  • Loved this show

  • 0:34: he's totally going for her tit!

  • Funny. But you didn't get the funniest moment ever at the end.

  • can we PLEASE get an old school nickelodeon channel!?

  • WHERE'S BILLY CUSHMAN THE FARTING MACHINE???

  • @luvdabuff Could you upload this whole episode with the coming up next bumper before this intact?

  • Please forgive me if it was already mentioned here, but wasn't Elizabeth Berkeley in this show playing the part of Alex?

  • I actually remember this episode...lol

  • Any way to purchase this on DVD? like a bootleg?

  • Respond to this video... look at urkel's cousin in the background! the female with the thick glasses!

  • this theme song is the whole reason i bought a guitar and amp.

it was in during the first season of this show in 1992, and i was in the 8th grade.

they used to do more palm-muting in the original theme song.

    fucking rad!

  • Intro is pure punk rock!!!

  • this is the oldest show man

  • No one i talk to remembers this show! I hate not being able to talk about it. lol

  • @PhantomLyric I definitely remember it!!

  • @2010thekingofkings Now I just need to find some old California Dream episodes. lol

  • @PhantomLyric ca dreams seasonsa are on dvd.

  • @nickoldeon90 Cool. I'll look for some on Amazon. Never thought about that. Love yur screen name by the way :)

  • i kinda remember this show

  • oh man. does anyone have any episodes with mervumentaries?

  • It took me forever to remember the name of this show. I only vaguely remembered Mr. History, and this episode. I tried forever to find a 90's television show with a Scottish Janitor and a kid being tried for Vandalism. Dear God! Now my brain can rest in peace, but does anyone have the rest of this episode? I'm pretty sure it goes on from here.

  • whoa this is a blast from the past... but i hardly remember watching it.

looks cool, wish i saw this back then. this was when live action nick shows were great. not like the ones out now. got any Clarissa explains it all?

  • Those are the oldest looking freshmen ive ever seen

  • the only part I didnt like was walter isnt volient

  • Wow, ever heard of Rosy Retrospection, people? I was a kid during this time too, but you have to look objectively and realize this is NOT quality stuff.

  • One of the many shows I wasn't allowed to watch.

  • The janitor sounds like Willie from the Simpsons. Just less abstract and crude

  • I miss my childhood. I remember this being a part of my summer programming when I was little along with Pete & Pete, Alex Mack, Salute Your Shorts and Are You Afraid of The Dark.

  • Ahh, I can't believe this is on here! Nobody ever remembers this show. I was only 6 but I was a tv junkie as a kid haha

  • its crazy watching this shit, i completely forgot about this show before watching this video, now i remember this episode

  • They used to play this episode the most, there was another show on nickelodeon that was like this, but i cant remember the name

  • fifteen

  • So when I was a kid I got to watch shows with bad ass intro's like this. Wtf do kids watch nowadays??

  • i remember the principle very vaguely and the show to

  • Remember the episode where they all were dressed like hippies and they sang, "Hey brother Lippman, gotta get a grip man."

  • How things have changed because it used to be "wow this is a good show" but now it's "wow those girls are hot"

  • doyousweartotellthetruththewholetruthandnothingbutthetruthsohelpyougod?

    What?

    Sit down.

  • LOL Mr. McBroom. Nice.

  • Arian Ashe was hot, I had a big crush on her back then.

  • Man I used to love these shows. Even has Big Pete talking at the end. Salute your Shorts was great too.

  • This theme song is so badass...sounds like The Stooges or something.

  • Wow. I had completely forgotten about this show. :-)

  • I remember watching this show! I'm 23 now. Thanx 4 the memories.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! No one has footage of this show anymore... Just wait until I upload my collection =]

  • how many welcome freashmene eps do you own? i uploaded a ep

  • any updates on your collection

  • Wow. Thanks a ton~! this was one of the first shows I really got into on Nick.

    He's Mortis the Safety Tortoise..

HE ALWAYS PLAYS IT SAFE! <3

  • holy shit!!!! I can't believe how long it's been since I've seen this show. I must have been about 11. I had the biggest crush on jocelyn steiner. Then my brother actually meets her at freshman orientation (she was a sophomore) at University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, and gets me her autograph.

  • I always loved the Intro song for this show. You just don't see raw Grungy punk music as theme songs for Nickelodeon shows anymore.

Gosh, I miss 1992. Am I the only one who wants it back??

  • no man i wont it back too i miss the old nick the new nick sucks ass every thing sucks now too fake

    i wont the the 90's back....sob...

  • I miss the TV shows, and even the music, but DEFINITELY Not the fashion!!!

  • @djaudiorage66 no, sir you are not alone.

  • @djaudiorage66 -- all of the early 1990's is awesome!

  • @djaudiorage66 "Out on the road today I saw a nickelodeon sticker on a cadiliac A little voice inside my head said don't look back you can never look back" I know it sucks man I wish it were still here but the sad part is it's not and it will never be the same.

  • @WFCM18 Oh snap, Don Henley'd.

  • @djaudiorage66 my brother's generation, who was born in 1992, seem to be bringing that shit back. the clothes, the attitude.

  • @djaudiorage66 at least him and his friends. bunch of hipster flannel wearing pricks. I love my brother and his friends, though.

  • @djaudiorage66 Not at all.

  • The intro song is so raw. Reminds me of some garage punk like Iggy and the Stooges.

  • The custodian reminds me of Grounds Keeper Willy from "The Simpsons".

  • I WANT MY CHILDHOOD AND OLD NICK BACK!!! It's nothing like it was. It's now more of a sellout than Miley Cyrus

  • @SirPorchMonkey Hell yeah!

  • @SirPorchMonkey -tru dat fam tru dat

  • Mr. Lippman!! Dude thank you so much for posting this, this show was pure awesome in the early 90's, every day after school!

  • god nick was so sweet back in the day with welcome freshman, my brother and me,Clarissa, you cant do that on television, hey dude, double dare, fifteen, and salute your shorts and of course great cartoons like rugrats, doug, hey arnold, etc GOOD STUFF! i wish we could get a deluxe DVD set with some of these shows on them

  • Whew brings back childhood memories!!!! I used to love those shows.

  • i miss being eight years old. R.I.P nick.

i have the opening song to Pete and Pete on my Ipod. (Hey Sandy by Polaris) Sometimes I rock out to it when driving to work. i miss the 90's, being young, and having no responsibilities except for not missing an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark.

  • this, Salute your Shorts, Hey Dude, and Pete and Pete were tha BOMB!

  • I like this show's intro. Reminds me of Kids In The Hall for some reason..

  • whats the show where they live in the forest and theres a talking ape thing and they keep getting attacked by lizzards, and they also live in a tree house

  • Land of the lost

  • land of the lost

  • the theme song does rock

  • wow! these people have really big hair! and their clothes are funny looking!:P but im sure when im like 40 i'll look back and think "what the heck was i wearing?!" but i am just a Freshman this year:) so i have a while before i have to worry about that!:P haha!

  • I loved watching this when it first came on Nickelodeon. I started my freshman year in 1994 :) I liked the Nick shows: Salute Your Shorts, You Can't do that on Television, Hey Dude!, Fifteen, Welcome Freshmen, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, Augh! Real Monsters and then when they first introduced us to Snick (Saturday Night Nick) and Are You Afraid of the Dark

  • "Freshmen... what a curse!"

  • Wow! i used to watch this wen i was like 5, I'm 21 now and its very weird to me. my childhood still lives! haha

  • same here. one of those shows that made me kinda excited for high school...boy was that delusion crushed XD

  • if i had a time machine i would go back to 1992-1998 where all the best nickalodeon shows and just enjoy them all over again

  • Mr. Lippman: Squidward?

  • I truly forgot about this show until today. Happened upon it while searching through 90s Nick $#!T

  • Best theme song ever?

  • anyone have eps on tape???

  • doesn't anyone have the whole series?

i know this probably won't EVER see an official release.

    i miss the show

  • Can you get these episodes on DVD.

  • no it was not that popluar of a show.

  • I used 2 love this muthafuckin show....

  • 90's to the core!!

  • I remember filming that day, It was hot and muggy but lots of fun!!

  • i've been looking 4 this 4 years. This is 2 funny!

  • wow! i thought i was making up this show. since no one remembered this show

  • teee! i used to get that theme stuck in my head all the time

  • ahhh i loved this show...and when i tell people about they dont remember it lol...thank for posting

  • 0:16 that almost looks like the logo for the band "Flipper" xD

  • haha wow this show was great, anyone remember the tomorrow people? it came on sundays at 1:00 or something...i loved that show

  • And you played what part?

  • The prosecuter...grey suit

  • Awesome, nice work!

  • so your name is john then?

  • Yup

  • @luvdabuff wow nice, i watched this when i was really little but i didnt understand the concept since i was so young i think i was like 6 lol. acting must have been way diffrent back in the early 90's huh?

  • this is too funny....

  • Oh my god! I was so little, Walter was my first crush everrrr... no suprise, the guys I dated that followed definetly showed Walter aspects. hahahaha

  • The actress that played Erin played a hooker in the movie Tigerland and showed full-frontal nudity. She was also a hooker in Phone Booth, but she kept her clothes on.

  • the first season with merv and tara was better, walter was te man though and this was a great episode, second season was a watered down saved by the bell

  • I loved this show, and this episode was one of the best in the series!

Walter was cool, and Lipman was such a dick!

LOL, the art teacher who made that portrait was named Ms. Isor (Eyesore)!

  • hollllly shit I REMEMBER THIS!

  • I liked Myrtle the safety turtle. Also, I think the first and second seasons are the best.

  • this show was awesome

i wish nickelodeon would quit being stupid and release this and other good shows on dvd

too bad the sales of pete and pete seasons 1 and 2

and clarissa explains it all did not do as well as they wanted...

  • I bought a copy of each!!!

they needed to get the snick era and game shows on dvd though.

  • yeah i got both seasons of pete and pete

i've been meaning to pick up clarissa

but yeah they definitely have some money in the older shows if they would just put them out

  • Hear, hear!

It's bad enough that Nickelodeon's lineup today is so clogged full of crap, the least they could do is have DVD releases of the good shows from Nick's Golden Age like this one!

  • Seems like companies put out shows on dvd in a crappy fashion and then say, "See, look at the sales. No one wants to see it". Well if you put out crap or stuff in a crappy fashion, it does not take an Einstein to realize you will receive crap in return".

  • This show seems good. Too bad I wasn't able to watch it. I would've been in my 20s by now had I been around at the time. I was only 2-years-old.

  • LOVED It and i love that Jennifer Love Hewitt was on here! I also loved Merve U Mentry's and LIPMAN BITES hahah.

  • you cant do that on telvision, salute your shorts, this show, hey dude, the original 3 nicktoons, plus rockos modern life, DOUBLE DARE, pete and pete, etc etc

    the channel blows now

  • awesome. The theme music goes right next to the Kids in the Hall theme. This show needs to be on DVD.

  • this was such a great show! i remember watching it all the time! good old days... hah the theme song is rad too!

  • Are you the kid in the grey suit with the red tie? You did GREAT in this <333, that's so awesome you got to be on TV :3!

  • This was the best show!! Sure I was only 11 when it was on, but I was almost a freshman.

I totally remember this episode too!!

  • This show was funnier when it was more skit-based. Too bad it went all Saved By The Bellish in the final season.

  • which character are you??

  • That intro kicked ass. What a fucking song! The drums and guitar riff that was awesome!

  • FAT ASS!

  • I loved this show! I was only 7 and I thought Kevin was hot!

  • man this is so 90s!

  • i have eps if you peeps wont

  • Welcome Freshman was the show. Every Saturday, I was watching!!

  • I had a silly "extra" role in a made for tv movie with Walter/Rick Galloway around the time this show was on and had a HUGE crush on him. Thanks for posting these!

  • Who named this characters? Eyesore? Mr. McBroom?

  • i know the cast member brock who was on the show he sent me dvds

  • hah this show came out when i was 10, i remember i watched it with the rest of the lineup on nick... man o man nickelodeon used to be the shit

  • Intro song sounds like Iggy and the Stooges or something...raw.

  • lol

  • Yes, sorry, I wasn't in the second half as much so I didn't bother posting it : )

  • Was Walter innocent?

  • Alex is hot!

  • I only looked at this for the theme song... However, didn't they have a character on the show (possibly only for the first two seasons) named Merv? I believe he was a geeky kid... Does that ring a bell for anyone?

  • Yes, Merv was not in the third season

  • yea that is who i remember merv, cause he had these things called mervumentaries

  • You gotta love that theme music. Classic garage band sound for sure.

  • YES!

  • Thanks for uploading this, you rock, man I haven't seen this for a long time?

  • Scratch my previous comment, I forgot that they did do something like this on the pre Saved By The Bell show Good Morning Miss Bliss.

  • i kinda remember this. but who cares. why do they make so many shows like this.

  • The fashions, the music, the talk...it all screams early nineties and I thought i was the only one who knew about this show

  • im geting tons of more eps

  • I'm surprised that Saved By The Bell never did an episode like this.

  • Good Lord, I remember this!!!!!!!!

    Wasn't Ryan Reynolds in this?

  • That was Fifteen.

  • I always thought high school would like Welcome Freshmen.

    How wrong I was...

  • McBroom. LOL.
