All this is, is some girl that was at the right place at the right time, I know and have jammed with many drummers that blow this out of the water, sry honey but just cause your a girl doesnt mean your gettin any special treatment lol I know a good drummer when I see one....unfortunately your mediocre at best.

totally agree. A guy playing like this would get laughed at... Well, I dont know what they saw there but I know what I heard. Not one djembe sound. Loud bang and soft bang. no slap, tone, technique. Sorry Pamela Lynn. Not a lot going on. I can't compliment you on this vid. I do appreciate more women playing djembe and showing that it is possible.

Amazing...what people will say because she's a blond, good-looking woman. This is patronising and embarrassing. A guy at this standard of playing (intermediate) wouldn't be let anywhere near a show of international drummers.

I am totally sold on this drummer girl and her drumming but just why did you have to use a remo ? The one with youdoing a solo on djembe rocks and if this above performance was on a tight sounding djembe, woman you would have ROCKED. It is all good though....

She is freestyle percusionist and pro Djembe facilitator. She produced playalong CD with many rhytms inspired all arround the world. This is great CD. and one more her CD. If you cannot keep up with traditional Djembe lesson like me, you should try the 2 CDs. You can get them from her site. Anyway this drum solo is wonderful!! I also have same color remo drum. Its cool! Thank you for powerful and tender music. I will creat my own style.
