i dont know his handle name. this was in san antonio tx where i live. i havnt herd him for almost a year now. i would always hear him when i got home from work. i would stay in my truck for almost half an hour or till everything got quiet. hes funny.
thats funny stuff...and pretty clean humor...lol anyways i am curious about this roadtalker. i just got one. know anything bout this radio that i dont? help me please.
its a possibilty that hes from there or goes there. but i was at home sittin in the driveway i herd him blabbering like this and had to get the camera. this was in san antonio tx which is where i live. he had to have been close by. he was pushing the needle on the radio almost all the way.
oh yeah i know, mostly on cloudy days, ive heard it too
but no im running a 3 foot roof mount on top my truck right now, BUT i just bought a 102" (8.5') steel whip antenna im going to mount on my truck somehow...
hahaha i havnt figured that part of mounting yet lol
lol. i dont blame you. it is kinda hard to find a mounting place. i drive a bronco so i have my antenna mounted on the back on the arm of the tire gate with a mirror base clip. ran the cable under the tailgate into the back under the carpet to the radio wich i have mounted on the floor just right above the transmission. on pickups ive seen many have theyre antenna mounted just behind the cab. also get a base spring to reduce stress on the antenna for when you hit trees.
Echo mics sound really annoying on the CB! Stand outside his home and throw a rope around his twig and rig it down!!!! LOL Stick a pin in his coaxial cable so when he keys up he shorts out the CB LOL.
i mistakenly removed your last comment. about your antenna. but wow thats tall. is it steel whip? i have a 4 1/2ft fiberglass whip antenna on my truck. i recently bought a 4ft steel whip with 1000watt coil. i ended up taking it back off and putting the fiberglass back on. most of my reception was alot weaker with the steel whip than the fiberglass. everynow and then i can get people from east coast and west coast on a skip.
no dought, specialy when you are near a major truck stop. they are always yelling at each other. there is a TA and flying J 10 miles away from my house ill go there every once in a while.
