I'm really not here to dis this dancer, anyone who belly dances is beautiful for merely the love of this art. But I've been watching a bunch of dancers as well as learning myself, trying to get pointers, see where I should aspire to, etc.

But I'm curious about what makes her so amazing in everyone's eyes, I just don't see it. Her movements seem almost fragmented to me. Her snake arms, for ex, seem to lack emphasis and smooth transitioning through her arm's joints. Friendly replies only please!

l agree with you, l don't see it either. And on the other hand - if you look at comments below videos from the top belly dancers, some people comment that they're not good. What l think is that its easy to comment sitting in a chair at home, knowing your posts are annonymus. And didem does have a commercially ideal body therefore so many enthusiasts;)

Well. She was taking lessons at this time. (and actually she copies a lot of other dancers, which people don't know. Her moves were taught to her, which is why she is very choreographed and uses the same moves pretty much over and over again.)

Are you serious? She has an extremely gorgeous body, one of the most beautiful I have seen, women can only wish to have a body like hers!

Also she is no where near naked, the outfit she is wearing is perfectly normal for a belly dancing routine, most women that do belly dancing wear this same type of outfit. I think she is way too confident and in control of herself to care for attention. Only someone like you could think negatively of this beautiful dance she displayed.
