  • 1:30 I think I went gay for Mike there for a second.

  • The greatest fucking song!!! ...

  • ANIMAL !!

  • Simply killer :]

  • 1:40 why so hot?

  • It's not that ray of sunshine that feels so warm, it's just that bottomless inferno. Good stuff.

  • performance ENORME

  • My favorite performance from this tour!

  • Love, it's a beginning.

  • best band FOR SHURE!

  • I believe "Mark Bowen" refers to their former guitarist of the same name.

  • who is/was Michael Bowen?

  • @jfeuiebf actually was mark bowen

  • @jfeuiebf Wikipedia says:

Mark Bowen may refer to: * Mark Bowen (footballer) (born 1963), Welsh * Mark Bowen (writer) (born c. 1960s), American * Mark Bowen Barron (entrepreneur) (born 1958), born Mark Bowen, American * MV Mark Bowen, a British dredger in service 1969-78

  • @tehhhhhd hyhyhy

  • @tehhhhhd

yeah lets not go with that lol

Mark was their old guitar player and he wrote the music

so he called it "The Mark Bowen Song" xD

  • @thehumanbirdie Oh okay, thanks :P

  • [19] FAITH NO MORE - Epic (Download Festival 2009) *Sync* HQ

    Got removed?

I think it's because of that chick flashing her tits for like 5 seconds haha

  • Awesome. Truly Awesome.

  • I really wish they played this at Williamsburg, it's so explosive.

  • this is the best fucking song in the world!

  • @marklulic Yes Chuck was very creative in the first two albums. But he don't get much cred.

  • @marklulic no fuckin shit!!!

  • This is a masterpiece...one of the songs of my life

  • This version is way better than Mosley's, in my opinion, good words though.... but Mike voice just makes it shine.

  • @DEATH666COW Maybe if he went a little easier on the incoherent screaming. Don't get me wrong. FNM with Patton is my favorite, but all this vocal noise is doing the words no justice. It's still good though.

  • @olensbro have you seen Mosley's version from the Cali shows?

  • To the last fellow who wrote if it were not for fnr deftones and korn, all that stuff, true but if you listen to deftones they kinda left the nu metal stuff and went their own way, but other then that fnm are one of musics greats left in our modern era. kinda sad when most new music nowadays sounds like a rehash of 80s hits and not the cool 80s stuff

  • cool!!

  • the mike in the genitals was lame attempt to be god

  • very underrated album...love this , the jungle and arabian disco.

  • MIKE COVERED THIS VERY WELL

  • This is so fuckin good. aahhhh, feel better

  • Comment removed

  • sans doute la chanson de fnm qui dégage le plus d'énergie et de puissance en concert:human bomb!

  • so what was # 19 war pigs?

this was my favorite i was truely hopeing for

    mark bowen

  • @fatchoysuks 19 was Epic.

  • would love to hear a Patton studio version

  • FAITH NO MORE ! NUFF SAID.

  • Comment removed

  • faith no more as far as im concerned are the only band ever that sounds better with a replacement singer, mr patton is by far the best outta the 2

  • AMEN!!!!!..... veilleux1990

  • Mike Pattons is like red wine... always getting better with time! :)

  • FNM should make a live cd of the 2009 reunion tour!!

  • @budogden of this concert or of the brixton concert

  • Hey mark ! ! ! ! how ya doin buddy >> Its me Jim Martin,. its been a longtime. Never thought I would find you on YouTube. Hey bro, you know things have been tuff lateley and I am a few months behind on my rent. Do you mind if I come stay with you at you mom " misses Bowens" house? Please? You know what, I hate FNM they suck. I am better off without them, you to , right Mark...

  • ahahhahaha, this is fucking amazing.

  • bring on Feb 2010 - FNM at the Soundwave Festival and their own show at the Hordern here in Sydney!

  • I don't know if this suggestion has been made, but for a come back album, I think it would be cool if Faith No More did a remake of We Care A Lot. Seeing as the members are more mature and updated with Mike & Jon. Plus the original was very poorly produced and very unavailable (quantity wise).

Also, in my opinion, Mike is a better singer than Chuck, and they already have a re-recorded version of "As The Worm Turns", which was a bonus on a few Angel Dust printings (mainly for Japan I believe).

  • They should definitely re-record "We Care A Lot" with Mike and Jon. The redone version of "As The Worm Turns" with Mike on vocals is awesome, and the song has more energy too musical wise. Would love to hear the first album redone. And maybe even "Introduce Yourself".

  • On one hand it would be great to Hear Patton vocals on 'WCAL' but I disagree that the original is poorly produced, it sounds amazing and the rawness is completely appropriate. Definitely one of my five favourite LP's of all time.

If you can't get hold of it i'd gladly send you the mp3's!

That said, having heard Pattons take on nearly every song on that album at FNM gigs over the years, it would be awesome to hear them re-record it.

  • That's a fair point buddy, I just think the keyboards and drums on some songs sound too fuzzy and low rate (especially with "We Care A Lot" drumwise, though the version on Introduce Yourself sounds much better, in my opinion. But I accept your point, some of the rawness made it feel more old fashioned, and that's a good thing in my books.

And thanks for the offer dude, but I already have it, cheers anyway though, it was nice of you to offer.

  • Always one of my fave FNM songs.

    Amazingly simple and brilliant.

  • we care a lot and introduce yourself is also from chuck mosley. They were originally called faith no man.

  • best band ever

  • There would be no Korn, Incubus, Deftones, or Limp Bizkit if it weren't for Faith No More. But none of those bands compare to FNM's greatness anyway!

  • @budogden We could have done without the Limp Bizkit looking back. LOL

  • @budogden amen

  • @budogden I cant put those bands in the same comment with faith no more...IT SEEMS WRONG

  • @budogden This is true, but don't hold it against them. They had no way of knowing they were going to inspire a ton of awful bands.

  • @budogden actually mike feels very sorry about giving inspiration to them, not kidding, really.

  • @Ksianth and he should, being responsible for all that crap! kind of funny nonetheless

  • @fullthroat yes sir! but whats done is done lol lets listen to fnm anyways

  • @budogden fat mike patton can barely move or sing these days

  • @XxINCHAINSxX

     wanker

  • @XxINCHAINSxX You're trying to sound bold yet you come off worried and weak...

  • @budogden 54 thumbs up and counting because that's the damn truth.

  • AMAZING!!

This is the best live performance of Mark Bowen ever!!

    Mike Patton is GOD!!

  • IMHO not better than the phoenix rising 93 but a great performance!

  • Comment removed

  • This is Mark Bowen in Seattle saying glad to know the boys are doing well.

Do any of you know what happened to Joan?

  • are you really THE Mark Bowen?

  • There is only one, the living and true Mark Bowen.

It is not hard to be Mark Bowen, they just named a song after me. But, yes, I am that man.

  • if youre really mark bowen, there's actually a photo or 2 of you floating around on a website somewhere when courtney love was lead singer......

  • I've been waiting for a quality video of Mike Patton's version of this song for soooo long. This track is so great!!!

  • Wow! First time hearing that song. It sounds like something off Angel Dust. Although I'm guessin' the studio version sounds different.

  • No, it's from We Care a lot. The studio version is much different since it was sung by Chuck Mosely. This version performed by Mike is much, much better :). Awesome.

  • and it's not that ray of sunshine that feel so warm

    It's just that bottomless inferno

You're in the depths of hell..........

great song, like wine, better with age

one of bests mikes covers from chuck

  • YEAHHHHHHHHHH

    I'm a human bomb

    I'll kill anyone

And so are you, So don't be coy

Cause you too can destroy me like a toy

    Not like Mark Bowen

He never done nothin' to no one

    ... That didn't deserve it.

    GREAT SONG!!

  • What albums this from?

  • why Mike wasn't on it =P

  • We Care A Lot. It cam out before Introduce Yourself

  • It's just that bottomless inferno

You're in the depths of hell

    And I think that's swell

And I hope you get well

Well done, fried in and out

Burned to a crisp, if that's what I wish

    I didn't write the rules

I just follow them to a tee

  • they should release this to the music video channels. it seems fresh again cos its a bit undisovered to many. better than watching some overblown horseshit video with unnecessary cgi with a bland wanky tune like linkin park and 30 gays to mars or whatever the fuck they are what happened to good music its all shite

  • hahaha true..its always been fresh

  • it was before its time and still may be and I agree with you it is about time they get the exposure they desirve

  • It's so cool they played this... Old school fans must have went nuts! Cause that's me, I'm evil, I'm hateful, I'm sinful, forgetful, mistrustful I'm diseased and contagious. I'm suicide, homicide, genocide, pesticide! I'm a human bomb! I'll kill anyone! ...and so are you... So don't be coy, 'cause you too can destroy me ...like a toy Not like Mark Bowen! He never done nothin'! To no one ...That didn't deserve it!

  • stop your SHIT

this is FNM on the line

  • more internet fail

    keep it up

  • haha why would you comment like that to some one with out seeing the whole convo? kind of makes you look like the "internet fail".

    good one friend =)

  • I'M A HUMAN BOMB!

  • Damonlcke......... I'm with you all the way. Jim had daft hair and stupid specs. Poor jon is bald now but can easily play as good !

  • It really doesn't matter. Mike Patton IS Faith No More. Barry Manilow could be playing piano and it wouldn't matter. What would FNM be without Patton? Nothing.

  • I like Patton, especially for Fantomas and all that other good stuff.... but he shouldn't try to sing Chuck's tunes

  • This song is SO kick ass! I liked it when Chuck sang it but Mike brings this to a whole new level!! Bravo

  • Sorry, allow me to quickly correct myself before the Jim Martin Appreciation Patrol/Spelling Bee Police points out my typographical error ..Aesthetic. A E S T H E T I C. Aesthetic.

  • i love this song.......

  • MIke is God! My favorite song.

  • good tunes

  • Who gives a shit Torque. Stop being such a dbag. No one cares how big of a fan you are.

  • this lyrics are fuckin´ awesome and Patton takes it to a whole new level..the whole band is a whole new level.. "You're down below

And it's where your soul will forever glow

But it's not that ray of sunshine that feels so warm

    It's just that bottomless inferno"

  • actually chris this song was on we care alot, but it was on there first cd and first song by well cant remember his nam e but the singer before mike patton, fnm has had 7 diffrenent singers one was cortney love and they fired the best guitarest they had by fax all fact look it up if u dont belive me or disagree belive me ive kept up with fnm sence the begining im proud to say ,,,out dagnaste

  • nice.. 1 huge run on sentence and at the end you refer to yourself in the 3rd person.

  • the man whose name u cannot remeber (fool) is Chuck Mosley You Muppet You know Nothing You people make me sick!!!!! Call yourselves fans HA

  • Chuck Mosley.

  • Trey Spruance was the best and most talented guitarist they ever had. Anyone who knows anything about guitar would agree. People just like Jim because of his goofy appearance. It's purely asthetic.

  • But his goofy appearance was pretty sweet, c'mon, you gotta admit it. Haha.

  • Sure. I have no problem with Jim Martin, but too many people have said that FNM have no business touring without Jim Martin. I felt the need to point out that this is only because people liked Jim's look and wasn't really about the actual guitar work.

  • sure trey was a more versatile guitarist... but jim was total metal. and he was a great metal guitarist.. just listen to jizzlober for example. all fans who liked metal more would prefer jim.. its simple. its not aesthetics.

  • I disagree. I think those that prefer Jim only like him for the glasses and his hairdo. Are you claiming Trey isn't proficient at playing metal? Metal isn't that hard to play. Metal guitar players are a dime a dozen; meaning they wouldn't need to look too far to find someone who could do what Jim does on the first few albums, which were for the most part driven by Roddy's keys.

  • yes roddy was heard heavily but those 2 albums they were also very guitar heavy.. its not only about playing metal, its playing it with feel.. and jim had huge feeling as a metal guitarist. and yes, he did have unquestionable presence.

of course trey also plays top notch metal... trey is more open minded whereas jim is a pure bred metalhead.

jim is cult man, no one can say that he's not a good guitarist at what he does.. its just that fnm wanted to broaden their sound, and jim wasn't down.

  • I think its being condescending to say that Jim Martins appeal was based solely on his glasses and hairdo. He was a solid guitarist and an important part of early FNM.

    Hail Boognish.

  • I agree, Boognish Forever. I like Jim Martin, but people keep saying that he was so important to FNM's sound and that they have no business touring without him. That's ridiculous.

  • He was important to their sound. Its just not FNM with out him.

  • go listen to suprise you're, that riff was awesome. so shove that only like him cause of his look comment directly up your ass.

  • Fuck off douche. Faith No More is arguably my favorite band. I never said Jim Martin sucked. This started when I objected to someone saying that Faith No More shouldn't tour without Martin and that he was the greatest guitarist they ever had. So shove your douchy attitude directly up your rotten cunt.

  • Hahah that is the pot calling the kettle black.

I dont care how it started or if you jerk it to Patton. You made a idiotic comment so i responded so take your douche comments and jump of a bridge with em.

  • Please show me where i said they shouldnt tour with out him buddy. maybe you should learn how to read instead of being TRYING to be a smart ass.

  • (sigh)Someone said FNM shouldn't tour without Jim and that he was the best guitarist they ever had. I disagreed. I said I like Jim, but I think Trey was their best. Plus I said that there are so many metal guitarists out there that it wouldn't be hard to replace Jim with someone who can do exactly what Jim does. They continued to make great records after Jim, not to mention I heard he was fired for not contributing much to AD. Donnie, you're like a child who wanders into a conversation.

  • buddy you are the child who is wandering into a conversation trying to be smart but failing miserably.

i said your comments were idiotic, pointing to why (in your opinion) people liked martin.

people only liked dimebag for his beard, mustaine for his long red hair, kirk hammett for his feminine look.

please you sound fucking stupid when you say people only like his looks when they actually do in fact like his guitar work. you pompous asshole.

  • You're not too bright are you.Must be a high school glue sniffer. I'm done with this argument and I'm not going to stoop to your level of playground insults (I'm an adult).I'll repeat this once more.I never said Martin was a bad player. But there's nothing he can do that Jon Hudson can't. If that wasn't the case he wouldn't be in FNM.I assume people only said they preferred Jim because of his look because Hudson "looks" like a school teacher, yet he can play metal just as good as Jim. I give up.

  • I'll repead it once more they like Jim because of his SOUND. you are the moron in this convo ASSUMING like the cunt you are.

  • Comment removed

  • it is called sarcasm you stupid fuck.

next time read the whole conversation dumb cunt.

  • He actually left the band in part because of Angel Dust. In the beginning no one liked what he brought to the table, but in the end they ended up using most of what he had for the album anyway.

  • mate, are you serious? courtney love is the biggest trashbag whore going around. much respect to the old school members of FNM and i wish martin was/is on this tour, but courtney love?

btw - fnm get your asses down to sydney australia.

  • On Courtney, I was being sarcastic. You couldn't tell? As for Martin, honestly,I would of, at first been excited had I learned he was back in FNM. But, as a hard core FNM fan, I only care that they have reunited at all. Had they announced Martin would be the guitar player for the tour, it would have seemed like a quick tour done only to make some quick cash, knowing that nobody in the band was getting along with Jim. Having them continue to make new music with him wouldn't seem likely.

  • Did I see a stain at Mike's pants after 1:44? Shit they rock!

  • Yeah, and you'd just be ACTING superior. What a dumbass.

  • This rocks...as Bill Hicks once said "Play from your fucking heart!" Great vocals and presence!

  • i thought this might have been a new song lol faith no more was too ahead of their time

  • call yourself a fan????

  • what song is this?

  • It's called "Mark Bowen", off of their first album "WE CARE A LOT".

It's a Faith No More classic.

  • i cant find it on itunes

  • @coolfred - That's because iTunes sucks.

  • Calm down broheim. That first disc has been out of print forever. I have it on cassette and consider myself lucky. Let's not discourage new FNM fans all because you see yourself as some elite FNM fan who's liked them since day one. We can't like both Chuck and Mike? That's not allowed? If they toured with Chuck, it'd be a short setlist with only 2 albums to draw from.

  • i don't know where you live, but i can find them both at any local record store with ease..and of course you can like both chuck and mike, who the hell said you couldn't? i know i like em both.i just wanted to give credit where its due.. id like it if they switched vocalists during sets respectively. the rage in my comment came from me visualizing some dorky patton fan boy hearing this song and saying "patton is god" for making this!!.. no...... we all know how annoying and lame they are.

  • Huh, for real I'll have to check Amazon again. Last time I checked there was only one used We Care A Lot cd and it was going for $300. When I go into a record store like Best buy (I've been to many), I'd be lucky to find a FNM album at all.

  • oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 300 bucks on amazon???? i live in Greece and i can seriously find them anywhere... you've given me a fantastic idea, my friend.....

  • Greece, that explains it. I was going to guess Australia where i think the Import version was available for a time.

  • I checked Amazon and they have several WCAL cds, the cheapest being $70.The most expensive being a couple hundred bucks. I don't know what kind of record stores you have where you live , but they're pretty fucking cool to have that in stock all the time. I'm lucky if I can find any FNM albums in the stores like Best Buy. Maybe you live in an alternate reality?

  • wth indeed... I couldn't believe what you were just saying and I checked. I bought mine on a FNAC store (in Portugal) and it costed me around 12€ tops :s a few years ago. Lets hope they reissue it soon! =)

  • Wow, you're so 'hardcore'. Fuck off and stop trying to act superior on the internet

  • trust me, id act superior in your face as well.

  • I'm a tad embarrassed to admit this. I've been a fan of FNM since Real Thing, and I have never heard this son. Amazing. Add me to the list of aging American fanboys begging you guys to come to the US. Ok I don't care about the rest of the country, just come to Boston, heh.

  • Yeah at 1:40 that's a guy who loves his job.

    What a dude.

  • I wonder if Mark Bowen was there for the show? I hear he lives in England.

  • Esta cancion es un clasico vigente!!!

    Chile espera...

  • Shit, never heard of this song and it ROCKS!!!!

  • They need to reissue the first album again. I only have the cassette version.

  • This is unreal, envy for anyone that was there!!

  • ill see them on october man hahah i cant wait

  • im actuallyin love with mike, he is amazing!!! i was right at the front for this, absoultely amazing!!! cant wait for edinburgh!!

  • 1:40 !!!!

  • yeah i remember this song on the Australian issue Angel Dust Cassette with 6 live bonus tracks i had 15 years ago and i really liked this song back in the day then

  • one of the underrated songs =] damn pure

  • hey:) I'm back to watch this again. They live the life I always wanted to live, mine could be this dope. I wish.

  • blonde girl with the cowboy hat makes this video better.

  • Fuckin great song!!!

  • Increible. Chile -creo- 30 de octubre.
