Mike was struggling with drugs and alcohol during this late 80's period post Doobies hence the weight. Bless him though he kept going and saw the light. Still sounds great too. Love the man, its not a criticism - even the best of us are fragile and imperfect.... Mikes light shine strong and he brings joy and hope to a world that desperately needs it. Great to see the dude Kenny again too!.

Ah do you mean Jeff as in Porcaro who I think was the drummer for Toto? Is that correct? I didn't know when he passed on.But I know he was an amazing drummer.

Yes, Jeff is who he means. Jeff passed away on 5 August, 1992. He is still sorely missed.
