Its not just a type of propaganda there seems to be a few ministers posturing themselves including the PM to get as much exposure as possible - minister of winz was on some comedy show being interviewed - she was just plain tacky - its just media manipulation
in the end - i dont hate nats - but this talk by english is condescending - to encourage us against those ausies - pathetic
Yer love the term Trying to find a honest man in parliament, Their is all ways a catch, all ways shady deals, Think the term propaganda is rite up the ball feild for this clip In my opinion
Bill English is minister of Finance ofcourse hes going to appear on a programme talking about the recession hes the one controlling the country. It is a state owned television company so ofcourse an elected official would appear.
This is Phill Goff's smaer campaign in action once again.
Hey did anybody noticed what is sounds like when you say Phill Goff fast 10 times.
It's just propaganda from national, the more you see a person on TV the higher there profile gets, But on the other hand you could not pick a better person to promote spotlight on the economy. he should of stayed away from comments that had heavy propaganda behind them. i also believe the PM's should face up more to the public and talk about what's going on in there areas. That would be a good thing to play on Parlement TV a monthly "report" of hows each area is going(no party politics)
Because it feels like propaganda! A government minister making commentary on for what is partly a political issue under the vaneer of neutrality allowed by a state broadcaster. As a thought experiment, pick another issue and write the script for his speech in the same vein as that one. The more extreme the issue, the more apparent its propaganda value.
