Thanks for the reply. That wheel stopped making noises after a few weeks. It is well and truely gone now though, it wore right through after about 6 months. We've got a silent wheel now which is much better.
Yeah my wodent wheel I use for one of my two pairs of degus is starting to ware out too lol. They use to have a silent spinner before that but snapped it as they run too enthusiastically!
I know this video is old, but we had a wheel like that too and using Vaseline on the inside of the wheel gets rid of that irritating sound. x
