I'm in my late '30s, and only heard a few tunes from this classic era of Nigerian and West African music. Over the last 8yrs I've been discovering the Nigerian music that was around in the late '60s and '70s when I was just a toddler. If only I could visit the past, I'd go to see these performances live!

We have such a rich African rock heritage that absolutely needs to be re-visited by our younger Nigerian artists today. When my kids come into the world they will be fully exposed to this invaluable heritage.
