  • ela re paidi mouuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Don't get offended, but greek songs share similarities with music of southern, western and eastern coast of Mediterranean.

    I've not noticed it before.

    Great singer.

  • Greek music has been like this for centuries. The Greeks were playing music, drinking wine and building temples and libraries when the rest of the med besides eygpt was living like cave men!

  • Are you sure about Egypt?

  • Yes, their culture is older than even Greek!

  • ancient greek music has nothing to do with this type of music. This type called zebekiko was made after the turkish invasion and therefore has many influences.Even today music such as tsifteteli has turkish roots.....and no...its not to be compared with capoeira (thank god for that)

  • What did ancient Greek music sound like?

How did the ancient greeks dance?

    Have you studied it?

You must have to be so sure there are no similar elements.

I suspect you are full shit.

  • Yeah, yeah, well done for your talents but don't tell us you know of history... Do you believe that the Turkish invaders would keep the dances with their medieval names? From Ancient to Modern Greece have passed milleniums and conquerors. Romasn, Goths, Slavs, Bulgars and so. They changed the names. Simple. Influences of course exist. It's logical.

  • @lysander1920 YES,BUT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO SAY ''LOGICAL'' TODAY SHOWS US THAT THE GREEK CIVILIZATION HAS SURVIVED EVERY INVADER... IT'S IS NOT JUST LUCK THAT THE WHOLE WORLD SPEAKS WITH GREEK WORDS AND GREEK WORD ENDINGS OR GREEK WORD THEMES... YES,YOU FOUND IT! ''LOGICAL'' IS A GREEK WORD! FOLLOWED BY BILLION OTHERS...

  • @esmaraldadramaqueen YOU ARE JUST A STUPID GUY... YES,BOUZOUKI DIDN'T EXCIST IN ANCIENT GREECE... BUT WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW IS THAT THERE WAS AN INSTRUMENT VERY SIMILAR TO BOUZOUKI... OH,AND BTW,THE WHOLE WORLD SHOULD THANK GREEKS FOR THE ABILITY TO CREATE INSTRUMENTS AND MUSIC TODAY... WITHOUT THE ANCIENT GREEKS WE WOULDN'T KNOW NOWADAYS THAT ALONGSIDE WITH THE LENGTH OF A STRING CHANGES THE SOUND TOO... FAREWELL,BITCH!

  • Man..or whatever you are... you should really take it easier, and cut down on the drugs and feta cause youre loosing it baby, subject and all..hopefully you arent also greek cause you give them a bad name talking to a girl like that.

Go read some history and while your at it take a class or two in social behaviour.

    Filakia!

  • DON'T TALK LIKE THAT ABOUT FETA!!! IT REPRESENTS THE GREEK CULTURE!!! but of course you know that and you want to humiliate our entire culture... I AM GREEK!!! Έλλην ειμί!!! i didn't know you were a girl, but i don't really care... YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT MY GREAT-GREAT COUNTRY, YOU GET YOUR ASS WHOOPED!!! DIG IT???!!! i see you know ''φιλάκια''... Well, how about ''άντε γαμήσου!!!'' ???

  • your english is almost just as bad as your greek xaxaxaxa.

Thanks for the wishes!i will happily do that, because unlike the little patriotic bigot you are,i dont call people things just cause they have a different opionion than me.ìm not talking shit about greece,im talking shit about jerks like you that give her a bad name.Btw i love greece, and im greek too.Plus you dont have to scream girlfriend..Have a frappe and a diazepam to calm u down!

    And (xaxaxaxa)no... i dont `dig it

    Bye!

  • i can't see any Greek spirit in you... so stop pretending you are greek cause it doesn't really matter what you are, english, greek, mongol,it only matters what you feel in your heart!!! and you don't feel it... i'm sorry... oh,and i drink Ελληνικό καφέ...

  • I agree with you on that one.

  • their was ancient Greek music and alot of modern Greek music would have evolved from it. However zeimbekika evolved from rembetika...

(similar to how a Lyra was used in the past, now replaced by violins)

  • Actually grew out of music that came after that.... Rembetiko came first.

  • Are you using drugs or something? Perhaps... It seems so... First of all, zeimbekikos dance has nothing to do with this... man, jumping like a monkey... It represents the ancestors of these people... Secondly, zeimbekikos is not an Ancient Greek dance but an Ancient Thracian War Dance. It has nothing to do with Turkey. Turkish people descend from Mongolians. Did they had such dances in the trees? No. Neither Tsifteteli is Turkish. There is the Greek Tsifteteli and Persian Belly Dance...

  • @esmaraldadramaqueen FIRST OF ALL,CAPOEIRA IS NOT A DANCE... IT'S A COMBAT TECHNIQUE... SECOND: ZEIBEKIKO IS AN ANCIENT GREEK DANCE THAT WAS DANCED BY CERTAIN PEOPLE IN ANCIENT GREECE... WAY BEFORE THE MONGOLS-TURKS CAME IN OUR TERRITORIES!!! NOW,GO LEARN SOME HISTORY BEFORE YOU COMMENT HERE AGAIN,AND THEN GO GET YOUR ASS FUCKED BY GREEK LEVENDES SO YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THIS THING (CAPOEIRA) AND THE ONE AND ONLY ZEIBEKIKO!!!

  • Nice clip and comparison.

Where is the Brazilian bouzouki and song to go along with the Brazilian dance?

Why is he dancing to a Greek song?

  • nice comparison my friend... alla fille to zebekiko ine monadiko! :) mono o ellinas to cseri afto...
