you look stunning for your age. i can definitely see you wear sunscreen everyday. i'm subscribing as i can tell you know what you're talking about and I want to look this fresh and young in my thirties :)
Hi, I'm just wondering if you have done any videos about the homemade stuff you use such as the salt and oil mix you mentioned in one of your comment responses. If not, I would love to know some stuff we can all use that's homemade.
im thinking of trying the glycolic acid cream that uve mentioned. but the whole skin renewal thingie, no matter how gentle, sounds as if being 22 is too early for me to apply external elements to accelerate the skin renewal process. what say u?
I totally agree that the ELF highlighter/concealer is BRILLIANT. I only need to apply it once and go over with a dusting of the yellow section of the ELF complexion perfection and it stays all day. Thanks for all your helpful videos and handy hints and tips!
I wish that glycolic cream you use was available here in the states but I can't find it anywhere. I have started using the rosewater and glycerine and alo gel and love them both but I so want to try that cream.I don't want products that are tested on animals as I am a major animal lover.
its bad that holland&barret doesnt ship their products outside Europe. and they doesnt have any store in USA. any idea how i can get that glycolic acid cream?
Im one of her makeup removal tutorial she used baby oil. But others have used Olive oil, I dont think olive oil is best for this tho especially if you have oily skin. Check out her video, it should be names something like homemade makeup remover.
I understand that Rosewater is really good for acne prone skin. Would the Rosewater and Glycerin mix be a good moisturizer for us then? or is there a better application?
Jasmin, I was wondering about where to find glycolic acid. I did not see it on my last trip to Holland and Barrat's, but I am going to have a more thorough look there tomorrow. Thanks for this video!
Rose water is wonderful! I use it in the morning & again, before bed. Iit's one of the most fabulous (yet simple!) products I've ever purchased. I swear by it !
First, I clean my face with lavender water, and then I spritz my face with rose water, let it dry for just a moment, and then apply lotion/moisterizer.
Rose water is a wonderful natural astringent and toner, and it makes my skin feel really fresh and happy (^_^)
That sounds like a good idea, I have to try that. I was thinking of getting the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser to help remove the makeup and rose water as a toner. :)
The aloe vera gel's really good to help reduce appearance of scars=] I used it to help fade marks from chicken pox, takes a while but really works=] x
isn't it funny to notice the things we tend toward daily are generally the less expensive things? i loved this video as i've just discovered rosewater and glycerine myself. my skin loves this stuff. i put it in a spray bottle 1 part glycerine to 3 parts water and give my face a spritz whenever i feel the need. my skin says, "aaahhhh". i'm going to try mixing it with oil. great points and advice. thanks.
I use honey and sugar as a scrub/ peel. And while I'm at it I add honey to my hair as a cleaner/ moisturizer. A just shower and scrub my face and add the honey to my hair. I use a toothbrush to gently scrub, then go back into the shower to rinse off. Try it, you might like it. It's natural.
I buy the same Aloe Vera gel, and as you say it has so many uses, it's brilliant...Also have the boots Rosewater & Glycerin lol. I have such sensitive skin and they both make my skin feel soothed and soft. Will have to try the other products you recommend in this video. x
thanks for the vid jasmine---could u pls tell me do boots or super drug store this clinique moisturiser u mentioned?? and i hv dry skin--will all these products suit me?
Clinique is a brand that some larger boots stores have as a concession stands. You will also find Clinique in larger department stores (Selfridges, John Lewis, Debenhams etc)
Thank you for this and your halloween tutorial. Both very enjoyable and helpful. Also loved and now use your sponge brush cleansing method. Happy Halloween.
I really want to buy an aloe vera gel...and oh my goodness you're voice is so soothing...I have a cold and im feeling a little under the weather and while watching this video you're voice was making me so relaxed and drowsy...not in a bad way though..so amazing haha:) love the videos by the way...i love how most of your videos involve eco/animal friendly products.:)
Hi Jasmine...Just wanted to thank you for suggesting Aloe Vera gel in one of previous videos...Aloe Vera gel is such a common sense but only after you suggested I gave it a shot...I have a sensitive and combination skin and trust me Aloe Vera gel has done wonders ever since...It even lightens the skin and spots...Once again thank you and keep up the good work...Chitra :-)
When should I apply the aloe vera gel? Before or after my moisturizer?

Would you recommend Aloe Vera as an after cleansing moisturiser for spot-prone skin? :) x
CookieDoughxP 2 years ago
yes I would if you have oily to combination skin. Drier skins need more than aloe vera, it needs a cream - which could have aloe vera in it.
