Lol@comparison with scooters. Just push the scooter up while you climb up the stairs. Apply throttle so you're "guiding it" rather than pushing it. Heck, just help if you have to. It seems like doing that would be a bit faster for me. And, for regular stairs, lifting an electric scooter would seem far easier than a segway. My electric scooter weighs 22 pounds. Segways weigh... in excess of 100?

Wow, that's really way to steep of an incline and decline... I've seen people like that Wipe Out big time on those slopes. They're lucky they didn't wipe their assps off. LOL.

A segway does not attempt to compete with a bike, that is why i also run bike tours all over europe. 22km/h is not slightly more than walking speed but they are limited on sidewalks to 10km/h in Spain as are bikes. Very few people could cycle up this ramp even with my Orbea max MTB. Try one and maby you will get the point. Its like saying bicycles are useless, as you can add a motor and you have motorbike! Why use any transport when we where born with legs?

Yes you are correct, my sherco would do this with ease. I meant scooters as i am in the middle of a large city.

I thought that the posting was labeled correctly......You have obviously never used a segway. What do you expect a pedestrian area vehicle to be able to do? As it is the segway power to weight ratio is 5 times that of the tesla which kick the Ferrari.....Duh

I weigh almost double and i was on the bar and had a few rumbles but made it too. Note that this is with IRC sn23 snow tyres that give far better grip than the standard segway tyres. The segway i used to go down on the video has Bridgestone TW-5 motorcycle trial tyres, also great.
