Thanks for posting, I was there, front row centre stage- I've been to a lot of concerts but none to beat this one,Joan Baez,Ladysmith, Swing out Sister, Mica Paris, Mike n Mechanics, John Farnham, Andy Bell, Alexander Oneil! Of course the house band was Level 42 and this was first night I met and bacame friends with Mark!
Thanks for posting. This whole concert was great! Loved Level 42 from day 1 (nearly played with them) and have played with Tony Hadley who is a really nice guy and a true pro. RIP Alan Murphy.
Mark plays the hell out this one ,by far the the greatest back up band . The best looking basses for sure!! and of course sounding ,played by one of the best.
Great vid Nigel, thanks for this - the band really were on form that night weren't they? Shame though, I was hoping to see Kys Mach attempting the sax solo :( Does he play on any songs other than Heaven In My Hands and Lessons In Love during this concert? Thanks again anyway mate :) Btw, it'd be cool if you could tag Level 42 in this video :)
I've always been a Spandau fan and I love their songs, plus the lead singer, hehehe!..thanks for posting!! =)

Tony Hadley's voice sounds very powerful. Mark Kings superb bass playing on his Alembic adds a whole new dimension to a classic.
