one problem--Darth Vader and Yoda are platform exclusive. Yoda is exclusive to the Xbox 360 version. Vader is exclusive to the PS3 version.

I don't think there's an explanation in my copy of the game, but I'm not bothered, really, I didn't play the game to find out how the SW characters fit in with the game [Spoiler: They don't, much], I play it to have fun.

Well, if the light sabers cut swords, then Yoda and Darth Vader would be extremely overpowered.

And I think I read somewhere that Darth Vader might be downloadable on 360 and Yoda on PS3, but a bit after the release.

I'm just not so sure about how they are changing the blocking. When you block a meter goes down, when you attack it goes up, when the meter is empty the enemy can break some of your armor. Oh and when the meter empties the player will get a short chance to instantly kill their opponent.

I don't like it because it seems like slower characters will get the shaft here.

Link won't be in it. He was only in the Gamecube version of Soul Calibur 2. Nintendo wouldn't allow it anyway. Each of the 3 SC2 formats had an exclusive character. Gamecube had Link, XBox had Spawn, PS2 had Heihachi from Tekken.

It wouldn't be out of the question if they put this out on Wii though, but the Wii is getting Soul Calibur Legends, which is a Wii exclusive.
