  • OMG I CAN TASTE IT THROUGH THE SCREEN!!! I'm guna have to try that

  • wow great pork recipe

  • I have been to the St Paul market before, and they are pretty good. I would need to get the the Minneapolis one sometime.

  • Awesome market...The one we have is way overpriced (tomatos and peppers are priced by gold standards!!) I wish I was closer!!!!

  • man!!! i miss the pike place market in seattle washington. they had it all.

  • hey you live in minneapolis? i live in burnsville haha nice to know that their are people in MN that have a gun channel :) and food

  • Dass sieht lecker aus :D

  • Did dat pork deal, it's great! Kids love it ... my whiskey disappeared? Wha happened?

  • I wish I lived in MN. Applied for many tech and engineering jobs only thing I got back was scams and people trying to sell stuff. Was up that way some when I was a kid in the 80's. How much has changed? My home state of Louisiana is in decline in both infrastructure and economy. Good video, I like the mixed bag of your channel.

  • My mouth is watering! I just love pork fried this way, nothing better. I was so shocked to see someone do it EXACTLY the way my family does it. mmmm mmmm mmm

  • i don't eat meat you MURDERER!!! hahahahahah just kidding preppie..it was either a fake troll joke or a "beating your meat" joke....i think i took the high road.....those stores don't get upset when they see you walking around with a handycam? or do you have some snazy spy camera glasses ?....

  • We love to crack an egg on top while it is finishing in the grease and serve it with horseradish mustard and homemade pickles.

Great recipe. It reminds me of my grandpa and the recipes he handed down to me.

  • buy a crap load of honey - it never goes bad.

  • Another winner. Family loved the fried pork. Have a good one

  • those roads look like montreals roads full of potholes

  • venison good that way to :)-

  • did you see the size of those cinnamon buns? So hungry right now. Ok Ok Now the sandwich has sealed the deal!!! Nice Job... Heading to store NOW!

  • Whoo Hoo ! Supporting your local food/farmers neighbors is awesome . YP Schnitzel Samich tomorrow mit potato pancakes on side ,Danke :0)

  • 4:34 Did you see the kids working? This teaches them a valuable lesson. Good stuff. "So easy even I can do it!" lol "Mmmm Mmmm" Need I say more? lol

  • My dads side is german. I think they saw what was happening in germany and decided to come here. Our last name is foglepole I think it was voglevole Thanks for this recipie! You should have your own cooking show

  • Farmers markets will be the post collapse Walmart but with a better and healthier choice and they will be happy to haggle, barter, trade and accept gold and silver.

It will be over ninety percent local, grown and raised on broken up parking lots and 100% organic and will most likely follow a Cuban model of 'Agricultura Urbana' but without the communism but real commune-ism i.e. people banding together for a common good.

  • @stuartsbushcraftblog I agree, that would be the best senario I can think of post SHTF. This will entirely depend on communities being able to establish a safe zone and police their areas effectively. If people do come together, they could establish a small local trading community. I have been looking very closely at the Cuban model too!! Despite their government they are finding ways to survive. Incredible culture/people. Their collapse has been a slow one and that has helped.

  • @Yankeeprepper Yeah the whole communism/Fidel worship is just bogus really but to be far there are worse totailitarian states out there like North Korea or Burma. even China these days are changing for the better (slowly but changing)

But politics aside the Cuban model of 'Agricultura urbana' is what is coming to the western world whether we like it or not, in some cases it is already here.

If the people were really smart a concrete saw, cuting out 1 metre strips would be the way to go

  • @stuartsbushcraftblog Cutting out 1 metre strips would give you a managble growing strip ,acessable from both sides and provide a tarmaced path that would also help with deflecting that precious rainwater into the growing beds.

The lighting columns could be used for erecting polytunnels for winter growing or sunscreens made from dark coloured terrarm or tarps.

  • @stuartsbushcraftblog I have mentioned the Cuban gardens in a past video and I think people that are prepping should be researching this example. Very cool that you are aware of it as well it is a tremedous example of a "prepper" community that can thrive in a bad situation!

  • @Yankeeprepper Yeah i have been to Cuba a few times and seen it in action for myself.

They also use only organic fertilizers and pectisides like tinture of Tobacco, made into a spray (but not used on Tomatoes as tobacco kills tomatoes)

For Tomatoes they just used a locally made soap solution.

Agricultura urbana works because they have adopted a lowtech approach where there principle 'machinary' is a man with a hoe or wheelbarrow.

Lowtech is the future also for the west, where necessary.

  • @Yankeeprepper yeah, its funny how the Cubans were encouraged to grow gardens during their economic problems, but our government is trying to prohibit it more.

  • Definitely going to try this recipe. It's looks something akin to chicken fried steak. Prolly more moist under the crispyness. Market looked nice.

  • sammich was the best part ^_^

  • Right of the bat you made me wish I was still stationed in Germany. Nice vid keep e'm comming.

  • Thank god I work in a grocery store! Employee discounts for the win! Gonna get some super cheap pork and goodies, make some good eats!

  • @RogueRaven17 Yeah, THAT is the one thing I miss about working retail. The 10% discount on EVERYTHING. :(...

  • Just had a flash back to when I was stationed in Germany 1990-1992. There was a little mom and pop place just outside of post that made the best schnitzel. I forgot all about that....it was awesome. I will be making this soon.

  • nice... now im hungry lol gonna have to try that one

  • Yumm I know whats for dinner tomorrow. Sams club here buy whole pork tenderloin I can cut up myself 1.68 a pound.

  • @PathofTorah4life

yes...chicken or veal. a tough cut of beef works well too! It's a cheap and tasty lunch.

  • Hey great video, nice looking farmers market ya'll have there. I'm going to have to try that recipe out, looked tasty.

  • @Yankeeprepper How do prices at the farmers market usually compare to Cub or Rainbow Foods? By the way good music taste. U2 rocks!

  • Bravo! I luv this meal! Thanks for sharing!

  • wow you got a nice big market there loved the blocks of bee's wax i use alot of bee's wax on my trap's that sandwich looked good 2

  • Wow, that farmers market was packed; never seen that many people at the one in my area. Not much that beats a good tenderloin sandwich either!

  • Thanks for the vid. I didn't realize how huge that market is! I need to visit that one sometime. There are usually three in the Cities that I alternate between.

  • Please don't leave U-Tube . Your videos are great !

  • Yum! I moved to Missouri about 10 years ago and until then, had never heard of a pork fritter (tenderloin) sandwich. Oooohhh! They are so good.

  • That looks great, I wonder how it would be with one of your SHTF bread hamburger buns instead of the commercial bun... hmmm, got to try it

  • Great looking farmers market. Thanks for the recipe too!

  • so easy you can do it...one handed :)

  • Have you tried baking it instead of frying? If so, was it comparable?

  • thats what grocery shopping should be, im headin to the grocery store after that vid...gonna get me some pork sammich materials.

  • Those asparagus were monsters.

  • Love pork tenderloin sandwich. Place that had them here in my town closed up. Ca has fab food but I miss a lot of food from back east.

  • Can't say I've ever had that, pulled pork yes, fried nope. Looks delicious!

  • I love pork tender loin sandwhiches and farmer markets. I need to go to the one we have in town. Great video!

  • hey yp i was on blogtv yesterday with mrlockand load and he had a guy cohosting and his daughter went into the camera area and one of those sick ******* actually said he would like to rape his daughter whos prob 9 or 10 god i hope that guy dosent get in my cross hairs in the shtf what a sick **** jeeze i would love to have that excellent mallet tequniqe for those guy keep up the vids

  • omg all i have in the house is potato's and carrot's!..That looks fantastic!

  • That looks really tasty, thanks for sharing another great recipe

I try not to fry that much too, I use the steamer a lot now. Did a basic curry in the week and cooked the chicken in the steamer before adding it to the curry sauce. It keeps it moist and tender unlike the fry pan which can dry it out.

Also I do almost all my veg in a steamer too, keeps the vitamins and mineral in better than boiling, Plus when the steam water is cool i pour it onto my plants. Cut out as much waste as I can.

  • Lov the Farmers Market but man that Pig Sandwich OMG YUMMY!!

    Thumbs Up!!

  • @MadBadVoodo I hope you get a chance to try it, I don't think you will be disappointed. Tasty and cheap.

  • we have done chickin brest and deer about the same way, just try and cut the brest thin kind of like making a pattie out of it, same with the deer. and we have used the ritzz crackers when out of theregular kind.

  • I just clicked on a Minneapolis Farmers Market vid from 2008 by speakamericanenglish and it's amazing lol, the kettle corn guy is there, the black guy singing but a little less shaggy (looked like the same guy probably), the flowers of the same kind in the same place, but not such a great berry year looked like. That was some funny stuff for me because it was the same place that didn't change much in the last couple years, though you did a much better video showing much more of interest

  • Our farmer's market is more like a craft sale. You're so lucky! The closest, decent, farmer's market is 30 miles away (but well worth it).

  • I really wish we had a farmers market of that quality in my city. Great stuff, Be safe out there!

  • That looks like a good one. I hate it when I go to a farmer's market and the tables all sell the same thing.

  • Wow, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I grew up going there and have yet to find another farmers market that can even come close. Thank you for the memories

  • I love the vid's with the delicious recipes! I'm so hungry

  • Oh yea, that was a good crunch! (when you took a bite lol) My kids will flip over that one, the sammich. I thought wiener schnitzel was a German sausage type thing lol, learn somethin new every day.

Your farmers market is better than ours, some cool goings on in that place.

Great video Yankee : ) You sure know how to put entertaining vids together which are greatly informative. I probably got that in the wrong order, but either way : )

  • @omegahpla My kids really like them. In fact, I just cut them into strips with ketchup on the side and they will eat them till they are gone and beg for more. It's pretty cheap too.

  • We have a great farmers market and numerous flea markets that sell lots of produce. great video. God bless you and your family Yank.
