I am trying to get my bench press to 300 lbs by June. I am only 172lbs, 5'10". With about 12% body fat. My max bench is 250lbs right now. What sort of training should I do if I am to meet this goal? I am currently repping 185lbs x 12 reps, then I have been adding weight so I can only do six reps with good form, and I add one rep every week,
@manmodell185 I am married and the only thing that is 100% is that you are a youtube hater. Also, talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words. You words have the worth of my dog's crap in the back yard. My videos speak on my behalf and would stand up far better in a court of law vs. you worthless opinion. So in the end, I will do us all a favor and just have you blocked so I can spend more time helping others vs. dealing with youtube haters like yourself.
@roughneckasian I know a very good manmodell. He is really not a hater, he does not hate anyone. . He is one of the best male models in the world. He made millions of Fashion Week in 2011. He gave 50% the good things. You do not need to worry about what he says.
I am 105% your retarded, and mentally challenged. How is he gay? Are you implying being buff is gay? Get the fuck out of here kid, before I woop yo poor ass back to paris, bitch.
I'm blown away by Chris' and Tuan's results! Very impressive. I would realistically like to achieve the physique of Rain, the Korean singer, when he appeared on "Ninja Assassin". I know that it would require a lot of protein shakes since I am vegan (pure vegetarian). Great video!
Very impressive stuff. Just saw that video of you running a fairly impressive mile time for somebody with a lot of power focus. Keep up the good work. I bet you make incredible impacts on the lives of your clients
Hello from mexico, i want to congratulate you for your job, you have done an exellent job, especialy because you are a drug free bodybuilder, and i have a question, i am a semi-vegetarian i mean, i only eat fish, and i wonder if i can get a body like yours with a semi-vegetarian diet??
Tuan is a great trainer peeps. I used to workout in Katy and I met a guy, Matt, at my gym who is super cool. He trained since he was 16 (I think thats what he told me lol) but now is almost 30 and only in the last 2 years had he gained 20 lbs of muscle with Tuans help.
My point is that you can train for years, but unless you know what you are doing your progress is pretty much non existent in terms of muscle mass gains. Strength is much much easier to gain then muscle.
i start a diet just like yours this Sunday, it will end on the 28th of January (6 weeks). You are a HUGE inspiration. Thank you. Keep the badass videos coming.
Man you are a true inspiration, I'm all the way in Toronto Canada or I would get at you for sure! You work hard yeah but also have some crazy genetics LOL!! Keep it up bro!
It is beyond me why people ALWAYS seem to think a well developed muscular physic is only obtained by drugs..NEWS FLASH GUYS, ITS A SUCH THING AS HARD WORK AND DEDICATION !!!! Keep it up Tuan Tran. & much respect !
p.s. do you have any clients in the military? I'm currently in the army and was interested in becoming a client
@superhulk2100 I have a few online military clients. But it is really tough to get the nutrition right when you depend on someone else feeding you. Also, when they have you all that marching and jogging, it does effect your ability to gain muscle. But if you can overcome those factors, my program can work for you. Just want to be honest and make sure you are not spending money on something you cannot apply. Also, just want to say thank you for your services in the military.
@MajorMelon so is the point you are trying to make is that I am not drug free. So you are saying that if there is no full proof test, then why even test in the first place? What about my pictures of my 8th grade year book when I was 165 lbs, are you saying those are fake as well? What points are you trying to make, that it is impossible to have a healthly and strong body without the use of dangerous drugs. Is that you are trying to tell everyone in the whole world?
@roughneckasian I'm not calling you out for anything. If you thought i was implying that, i am not.
All i'm saying is a urine test cannot show if someone has juiced, say a year ago. I know a few bodybuilders bro and i can safely say i know the tricks that come with the trade. Btw, i'm all for roids. Know plenty of people who roid, and plan on cycling soon too.
@roughneckasian I believe the presime he is making is pretty self explanatory. q1) there is no full proof test unless a person took drug tests every year until she/he stopped competing. q2) testing in the first place gives rise to knowing that doing a RANDOM date for testing will discourage people from using. q3) Maj. Melon never said you were a drug user, only that showing a test done at one period in time of a person's career doesn't disprove a person from using drugs.
@roughneckasian q4+q5) the point he was trying to make is augmentative but valid that showing a drug testing during one time doesnt disprove a person from using drug they whole life. Lots of People have naturally been stronger and/or healthier than average people; genetics, natural high testosterone and the way people carry themselves (including you) can display on their person and through out their lives
You shouldn't let haters believing your a user discourage you from yourself -Haters Hate
@MajorMelon He's preaching a good, positive message... why undermine it? All you're doing is taking away a source of inspiration for people looking to better themselves.
Your so motivational man. Love your videos, they've been inspiring me for quite some time now. Keep up the good work and dedication. It's good to see athletes like you.
@TheJigoChigo no I cannot. At the peak of my years when I played alot of basketball, the best I could do was barely touch the rim back around when I was 18 to 20 years old (and being 20 lbs lighter back them help). I cannot touch it now but if I every get back to the point when I can do that, I will post a video on it.
You inspired me I am going to do your online training. I'm only 15 130LBs but i want to gain some muscle mass for JV sports next year I want to be at least 150. Thank you for inspiring me. :D ( I'd like to work mostly on upper body any tips?)
Wow!! Keep doin what you're doin. I'm assuming you've always been naturally athletic and muscular which makes things just a little bit easier but you've definitely put your work in to achieve your AWESOME results. thanks for sharing bro.
The third song in this video reminds me of Sidology Episode 2 (Trinity) by Machinae Supremacy at time: 09:10 . I guess it's from a video game, am I right?
What's the name of the second song and by who is it? Really great.
BTW.: Nicely done. You're a very motivating athlete! I am a fitness professional in germany and I do almost exactly the same thing which you are doin' in your video with my clients. I swear of functional training! Did you ever use kettlebells?
wow those jumps look like faked, it's just so unusual to see something like this... don't get me wrong please, I've just never seen something like this in my life, wow, just WOW!
@PoppinCheese lol. there are people with 50 to 60 inch box jumps on youtube so a 41 inch box jump is not so great after seeing someone clear 50 to 60 inches.
Hey Tuan, any chance we can see a video of you and SixPackShortcuts in an octogon? You both live in Texas right? I'm very impressed with your body, power, and leg work. Good job, man.
hey Mr. Tuan i only see vids and info for people who a big and want to slim down . but what about people like me im a small dude (148 lbs) and i wouldnt like to put on some size ( well muscle mass). I'd like to around 160lbs r so , any advise?
@mrsxedre about half of my onine clients are mass gaining clients. So if you sign up for my online training, I can generate a mass gaining program for you. Plans range from $35 to $60 depending and how much information you need. The link is in the information box under the video. Take care
@Lighthero44 I been in sports all my lift. Started hitting the weights at 15. Got my first certification from ACE at 18. Got my Degree and minor in 2004. Started bodybuilding in 2006.
I don't know why these guys are obsessed with your proving the veracity of your drug tests. If you say you are drug free, then it must be important to you (and others in the bodybuilding world). I believe what you say because I have no reason not to. If people do use steroids to gain an advantage, I only hope that they do so in moderation so as not to jeopardize their health.
You, TT, are obviously blessed with superior genetics (yes, body AND face), but have also cultivated a keen work-out
@alfajorNYC thanks for the support. As for the haters, just human nature. Some will praise you for your achievements while others what to knock you down. When they see someone succeed, it makes them reflect of themselves and their failures. It is magnified even more when they, themselves, have cheated and still failed while others that took the honest approach are now so far ahead of them. But all in all, I will just block the haters so I can spend more time help others.
(PT 2). ...work-out ethic. Your vast knowledge has been accumulated from formal and independent education and everyone gets to benefit from that. You serve as the ideal in fitness which others should aspire to in their training. Fortunate are those who actually get YOU as their personal trainer!
It is disturbing to see the negative comments from the "haters" (as you call them). They are a sadly envious lot. Remember, envy is the only vice that doesn't produce pleasure.
@Retoralic yeah, just as fake my Degree at University of Houston any my yearbook picture of me when I was 14 years old. Sad that haters see what they want to see and use every excuses they can find to try to denounce all my merits and accomplishments. So hate all you want, but no one will listen, especially after I block you. I do not have time to deal with haters like you. Would rather spend my time helping others vs. proving that I am drug free to haters
i have watched your video and you have inspired me to be the greatest ever what do you recommend for a person like me weighin 200 pounds and 20 percent body fat...by the way can u tell me the name of the instrumental starting at 5:50 please...thank you so much tuan
They should make a Tekken character based off of you lol. No racial offense intended. But, jokes aside, congrats to you man. I'm pretty sure that there are some comments here that probably say that "you're just trying to show off" or whatever, but I think that it's great that someone can accomplish so much, especially the hurdles you needed to "jump" to get you where you are now. Lol the pee-test was genius, and yeah, there will be haters whether or not you show proof. Haters will be haters.
@marcelinho93 thanks for the support. As for the haters, it is funny when I call them out and ask them to show me another person that has provided more proof than I as a Drugfree athlete knowing that they cant. But yes, haters will hate and see what their ignorant eyes want to see. But for those who believe in me, keep watching because I going to keep posting what has helped me succeed in the hopes that it may help others as well. Trying to do my part for society vs. bring it down like a hater
@KravMagaMcmap RAW means not using gear that would help improve my lifts like a bench press shirt, a squat suit or knee wraps. As for Drug Tested, no steroids, GH and other performance enhancing drugs.
hey dude is that really you in the picture (thumbnail and first picture)? IF it is you then FUCKING WOW....ARe you 100% natural or have you taken the ROID WAY?? I am not a hater, but man I would like to form my body like yours if your 100% natural....
@roughneckasian You're a liar. All these "achievements", and yet you have zero moral integrity. Any half experienced lifter can easily see that you are hormonised, you are simply making money off the gullible, like so many people involved in this sick industry. You are worse than Liar Norton.

Lighthero44 3 months ago
@Lighthero44 I been in sports all my lift. Started hitting the weights at 15. Got my first certification from ACE at 18. Got my Degree and minor in 2004. Started bodybuilding in 2006.

@roughneckasian Life or lift?
dasupasin 3 months ago
@dasupasin both. I live a very active lifestyle and I do lift.

@roughneckasian Lol, I was talking about how you said "I been in sports all my lift."

You, TT, are obviously blessed with superior genetics (yes, body AND face), but have also cultivated a keen work-out
alfajorNYC 3 months ago
@alfajorNYC thanks for the support. As for the haters, just human nature. Some will praise you for your achievements while others what to knock you down. When they see someone succeed, it makes them reflect of themselves and their failures. It is magnified even more when they, themselves, have cheated and still failed while others that took the honest approach are now so far ahead of them. But all in all, I will just block the haters so I can spend more time help others.
roughneckasian 3 months ago 2
(PT 2). ...work-out ethic.
Remember, envy is the only vice that doesn't produce pleasure.
alfajorNYC 3 months ago
(PT 3)
Forgive these envious haters, forget them, and ignore them. And then move on! You have much more important work cut out for you.
Bravo and thank you, TT. You are an inspiration to many.

I think troll comments fuel the nuclear reactor that's inside you, dude. This shit is impressive.

Those photo's at the end, are fake as shit dude. Next time just admit that u used drugs.
Retoralic 3 months ago
@Retoralic yeah, just as fake my Degree at University of Houston any my yearbook picture of me when I was 14 years old. Sad that haters see what they want to see and use every excuses they can find to try to denounce all my merits and accomplishments. So hate all you want, but no one will listen, especially after I block you. I do not have time to deal with haters like you. Would rather spend my time helping others vs. proving that I am drug free to haters

rompecaraexpress 3 months ago
They should make a Tekken character based off of you lol. No racial offense intended. But, jokes aside, congrats to you man. I'm pretty sure that there are some comments here that probably say that "you're just trying to show off" or whatever, but I think that it's great that someone can accomplish so much, especially the hurdles you needed to "jump" to get you where you are now. Lol the pee-test was genius, and yeah, there will be haters whether or not you show proof. Haters will be haters.
marcelinho93 3 months ago 2
@marcelinho93 thanks for the support. As for the haters, it is funny when I call them out and ask them to show me another person that has provided more proof than I as a Drugfree athlete knowing that they cant. But yes, haters will hate and see what their ignorant eyes want to see. But for those who believe in me, keep watching because I going to keep posting what has helped me succeed in the hopes that it may help others as well. Trying to do my part for society vs. bring it down like a hater

@roughneckasian Sir, what does "raw" in Raw/Drug Tested mean please ?
KravMagaMcmap 3 months ago
@KravMagaMcmap RAW means not using gear that would help improve my lifts like a bench press shirt, a squat suit or knee wraps. As for Drug Tested, no steroids, GH and other performance enhancing drugs.

@roughneckasian thanks a lot ! Take care !

@interoma4evr been training with weights for over 15 years. Never have taken roids, never will.
roughneckasian 3 months ago 3
@roughneckasian You have any videos about your diets and what kind of exercises you do (some kind of exercise-plan)?
interoma4evr 3 months ago
@roughneckasian good mentality....roids are for losers...
interoma4evr 3 months ago
@roughneckasian You're a liar. All these "achievements", and yet you have zero moral integrity. Any half experienced lifter can easily see that you are hormonised, you are simply making money off the gullible, like so many people involved in this sick industry. You are worse than Liar Norton.
