  • LTCG is not my style, but that "dumb fucking redneck hick" I believe has made more money than any other comedian. He has obviously figured something out. Steve can spin it any way shape or form, but I look at success of a comedian, and right now LTCG>Steve Hofstetter. Keep doing clubs while Larry does Football Stadiums.

  • @FTay07

    Popularity =/= Talent

  • Nice

  • Well worth the view :) nice irony appreciation

  • Larry's base is backward republicans. It's not their faults, but I wish they would all go to Antarctica. Everything you said is everything I believe. We probably have the same political views too. Bravo Mr. Hofstetter.

  • @kr4yzi32k Antarctica? But then what would they hunt? Let them go to the Arctic, it has bears.

  • Fucking, owned.

  • You can download one of my albums free at stevehofstetter dotcom - and thumbs up this comment so everyone can get a free copy.

  • @thehofstetter Thanks Steve, very kind of you. Do you have any plans of hitting the UK?

  • @killalmostwise This July. See you there!

  • You're my hero.

  • 6 youtube videos later and i have the up most respect for you man.. i feel like an idiot for never looking at "larry" that way,,,, maybe it's just because i never watch his shit? :O

  • Steve smacks just a bit of the late, great George Carlin, which is exceptionally - and refreshingly! - cool.

  • !.) The 92 people that dislike this video are Larry's or Danny's or whatever his real name is fans.

2.) And Steve that was the actually phrase that they yelled at Jodi Foster in The Accused lol

But what I really wanted to say was Steve, who were the comedians that you looked up and do you have any advice for me because I want to start doing comedy?

  • Damn, that's good stuff.

  • Steve H... up there with the very BEST!

  • have only just switched on to steve, and i think anyone who can get anyone else thinking about not being manipulated becos they are too lazy to go beyond the superficial is doing us all a favor. There is too much dumbing down of everything - movies, books, media, government...and people are too lazy to do anything about it. Keep up the good work Steve..lots of people behind you on this. cheers. a fan from singapore.

  • rednecks like lary insted of hating him for the same reason people like dunhams achmedterrorist and say"ikillyou!!"because its funny, fictional characters, obviously hes acting like a backwoods whitetrash redneck. But he WAS funny,in a weird way i think its like bein emulated, even if its being made fun of,people like being the center point.I think comedy is just that, comedy, not ment to be taken literal, just because people like scarface and have his posters doesnt mean they love cocaine and killing

  • i think there are alot of times people like comedy or anything like that when it relates to them ya know? even if its making fun of them. why?who knows.and I'm not saying all comedy has no point to it,I know some people have underlying or direct points in there acts they are wanting to get across witch is also great stuff. idk., todays the first time I've ever seen u, searching heckler in you tube, thought you were good, just thought you were making somethin seem like a huge problem that isnt

  • TheM Dar Words are all flowery and i can't understand most of them... dislike...

1 in 4 people's reaction to your monologue...

As someone who grew up in mississippi.... The problem is how the "southern" culture embraces, well, basically being retarded is ok...

    :>/

  • Xena so hot

  • Do you like Bill Hicks, Steve?

  • @sethte Yes. I was actually in the "What Would Bill Hicks Say?" book.

  • @thehofstetter i hope to be a comedian as great as guys like you one day

  • @thehofstetter i have watched a lot of your videos here on youtube and they were mostly heckler videos uploaded by you. you seem to be a reasonably funny guy and i mostly agree with you about larry the cable guy, but if you want to take on a juggernaut of the comedy world you need to be a lot better. you have no clout in the entertainment world. your rant was well put together and had valid points but it may as well have been my neighbor down the street to say it.

  • @luderudecrude

I wouldn't mind if it WAS your neighbor, it would make me happier just knowing someone out there is saying it! lol I think steve is pretty funny...but everyone has their own taste.

  • @ErizotDread oh im not saying the guys isn't funny. im just saying he is not a big name and therefore whatever he says carries no weight with the celebrity community. he needs to have a big HBO or at least comedy central gig to get people to take what he says seriously.

  • this guy is great. mabey the reason hes not famous is cause he speaks the truth.

  • hey steve first off huge, huge, fan. I think there aren't enough intelligent comics in Amerikuh, and I'm glad you exist. You came and did a show at middlebury (you probably don't even remember it cuz you were clearly some sort of impaired when you came on stage hahah) which was by far the highlight of my two years on this godforsaken icy rock.

I was just wondering what you think of louis ck? (i don't even know if you still check these seeing as your last reply was like 6 months ago but still)

  • just found you on utube...thought you were kinda funny till i saw this...i will never listen to your comedy again...worrie about your own self.. attacking another comedian is low.

  • @bspain25 You would seem more coherent if you spelled at least twenty percent of your words correctly.

  • @bspain25 how does attacking another comedian serve to make the first one less funny? It makes sense that someone like you would defend larry the cable guy

  • Subscribed. How have these videos flown under my radar for this long? Checked your tour dates, and no Ohio dates. Please change this?

  • Pure gold here....lmfao, thank you for doing this.

  • You're a good speaker and very convincing, but you're buying the cliche of the southern Christian hick, a cliche I've never seen or met before other than on liberal news shows. Many people hold to certain elements of this stereotype, but no one I've met fully embraces this supposedly prevalent lifestyle. In other words, I've never met a Larry fan who didn't get the joke.

  • I never took him seriously...still think he is funny.

  • @miack84 P.S. That's the point of LTCG's act, making fun of the culture of the hicks. They know what's going on. Being able to laugh at yourself is a sign of good self esteem. Something this comic doesn't get. Still think you are funny Steve, but you are really off the mark on this one.

  • 86 people don't like to hear the truth.

  • You talk about Dan not having any class but yet I listened to the character of Larry the cable guy for awhile and never heard him bashing anyone but the Blue Collar culture. You on the other hand, are bashing him and judging him on character. Just because you wear flannel, hunt, fish, and drive trucks that makes you a racist? News to me. What is the difference between Dan selling tickets to blue collar Americans and you selling tickets to liberal college students?

  • Hey steve ive wrote to you before... and u responded.. that was cool ... haha just curious i would LOVE to hear who your fav comics are right now.. top 5 or something thatd be interesting to see ...

  • @Element1516 Hard to narrow it down, but some current ones I really enjoy lately: Jon Stewart, Eddie Izzard, David Cross, Doug Stanhope, and Tom Simmons

  • @thehofstetter cool! totally not the people i was expecting to hear .. but cool ill have to check em out ... OH! one more question .. from another comedian's point of view... do u think Dane Cook is as bad as everyone says/thinks he is?

  • @Element1516 I've worked with Dane many times - a lot of his material is very well written, and people don't give him enough credit for that. I have always liked him - though I do like Harmful if Swallowed and Retaliation way more than Vicious Circle.

  • Comment removed

  • @thehofstetter Steve I like your intellect based comedy and have been watching the videos where you've given shit back to hecklers which was great, but I have to know what your opinions on the internet battle of who is a better comedian Dane Cook or Daniel Tosh. What would your opinion be?

  • @harmfulhazard I didn't know there was a battle, but comedy is subjective. There's no such thing as "the better comedian" - clearly both have a lot of fans who would argue for each. I can't really pick one of those two that I like better.

  • @thehofstetter

Really! OK, I know comedy is subjective, but Dane is lame and Daniel is really funny. IMAO.

  • @harmfulhazard Daniel Tosh, no contest

  • @Element1516 Just curious, with your vast knowledge of comedy....Why would you want another persons point a view on DC...Do you enjoy his work? Time to quit following the sheepole and form your own opinon. Yes I enjoy DC, Yes I enjoy steves work as well. Really wouldnt jump in on someone elses conv but i had to look at your comments while I enjoyed this Video...(and yes i guess being jewish gives me super abiltys like reading and listining and forming a opinion at the same time.

  • You're hilarious man, I'm dragging the wife out of the house to come see your show in Savannah on the 29th.

  • Steve Hofstetter for president. enough said.

  • awesome.

  • fuck larry the cable guy

  • Is it strange that I like both yours and Larry the Cable Guy's comedy routines? I did go to a Larry show a couple years back and he made a joke about the handicap or something along those lines involving a disabled person and the disabled person behind me wasn't amused. I never knew how much people who like Larry didn't realize they were the punch lines. Sad when people don't get he's a character. As for you I just think you're a funny guy naturally and you're yourself on stage, not a character.

  • I think there are different styles of comedy and i happen to appreciate the "intellectual" and "stupid" comedy just about the same. I think this comes down to taking something that should be funny a little too seriously. I just want to laugh and both steve and larry make me laugh my ass off

  • Who is this guy? I've never heard of him. He sure is snobby.

  • @MToomey79 He's an unfunny, sissy "comedian" who thinks he should win a Nobel Prize because he knows what the word xenophobia means, and also had to resort to insulting a far more talented and entertaining performer to get any notoriety whatsoever.

  • heh. Love the Xena reference.

  • Steve .... why are u not on comedy central?! why isnt ur name as big as most the "well-known" comedians.. ur fuckin funny dude... keep it goin! i enjoy ur work

  • I agree with you, my man...;)

  • I heard you got into a fight over this with Joe DeRosa and the Comical Radio staff. And that even Lewis Black told you it was tasteless, I just want to ask if you have any regrets from the title. I personally think that you decision for the Larry doll to be hanged in effigy was while brave also inappropriate feeling your just putting up walls. I also think it's funny that you have been having to defend this for 4 years now.

  • @cyberultim Actually, Joe and I had a very pleasant conversation about it (it was one of the hosts that took offense). Lewis was upset, and he was entitled to be - Dan Whitney is a friend of his. Not sure who your sources are, but their memory is a bit fuzzy.

If I regretted saying something I believed in simply because people disagreed with me, I'd be a pretty empty shell of a person.

  • I'm not a "Larry" fan ~ A minority, I know :) What I do want to thank you for is at 2:19mins when you said "dumb enough to spend $2 on magnet to put on a gas-guzzler which increases USA dependence on foreign oil" (In my own words) ~ I LOVE YOUR HONESTY and in light of the recent Oil Spill (2010) in the Gulf, I wish more people would actually HEAR your message! Ironically, the black goo will be washing up on the shores in the South but sadly, we will all pay the price for our ignorance.

  • Bottom line is you can laugh at a joke or not laugh at a joke. While I'm not a fan or follower of Larry the Cable Guy, admittedly I chuckled a couple of times at his jokes. I've heard Steve Hofstetter's stand-up and now this. Just not funny or as intelligent as this guy would love us to think. So, rather than standing on a tiny soapbox with a point that no one gives a shit about, how about, you know, be a comedian and be FUNNY.

  • Wow that was funny. Thanks Steve. Really valid points. Honestly I only know a few Larry the cable fans, mainly because I have so few friends. The ones I do know though seem a little bit dumber and a little more racist than the average person I have come into contact with.

  • It's true, we get our oil from where our troops are being "supported."

  • How come I'm seeing this now?

  • I don't care about Larry the cable guy one iota but in this video you come off as a stuck up elitist. You remind me of this guy I know that annoys the shit out of me.

I can't fault you for being yourself but I'll skip your show tonight.

  • @darake0 he is a COMEDIAN, but hes also human and if he believes in something AND he has the power to express, then by all means, express it.

  • Carol Combs thinks you are a barrel of laughs!!! Git -R - Done, Carol!!

  • nice!

  • im into all his material, king of black comedy!

  • way to say it. ignorance should not make people rich, and in the real world, such slander teaches the uneducated bullshit. like all comedy its intended for intelligent viewers but i bet even dave chappelle taught some dumb brothas nasty shit bout white folk.

  • He's a comedian, but he mocked larry in the cd he published, and people freaked it out because of it so hes explaining himself. I believe haha

  • in my opinion comedy is things that are funny.

whether or not they are moral, they are still comedians xD

not to say i disagree with you on all things that you mentioned, i just think that comedy doesn't need to be discussed in the "is and isn't" manner.

  • 6:26 - 6:42

That's not what Dan meant when he said, "You're reading into it too much," Steve. He meant that you're mentioning a problem where there is none. Fans of Larry the Cable Guy, like myself, are much more intelligent than you give them credit for. We absolutley know that we're being made fun of, but that's what makes Larry such a talented comedian--he can get us laughing at ourselves! We're not so dumb as to think that he's "a great hero." He's just funny. That's all!

  • I would love to believe you. But read the hundreds of comments from your fellow fans to this very video. And you will see that you are unfortunately the exception to the rule.

  • omfg. wtf? stop talking shit about larry! if you dont have anything nice to say about someone, dont say anything at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get a fucking life u piece of shit!!!!! ur just jealous cuz u r not as good as him. u call larry ignorent!? ur the ignorent one! i hope u get ur ass killed u son of a bitch!

  • You do realize the irony of saying "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all," while trashing someone in the same post right?

  • Lmfao you're wicked funny.

  • Your logic, is exactly what this video is about! You call him ignorant, then demand he should be beaten for his views, if you don't have something nice to say? Don't say it all? "ur the ignorent one! i hope u get ur ass killed u son of a bitch! " You really sure you have any clue what your talking about? Or do you 100% enjoy being a moronic mumbling idiot.

  • anyone else notice dr. pepper is made in texas and is hard to find in a lot of northern states?

  • I see it all the time and I live in mass

  • really? i didnt see it anywhere when i was up there, but i was only there for a few days. so ill take your word for it :)

  • Wait...Larry the Cable Guys Not really a Cable Guy?

  • good job thanks,,,,

  • XXXZSOZO, Steve was just at my college this weekend, and he was easily twice as funny as that dumb fatass, so maybe you should stfu and go sip on a beer and hit a woman.

  • he was in my community in upstate NY hysterical. his joke about being a douche nd stupidity made me laugh for the last week.

  • Oh my God... you are telling me... that joke at my University exploded the room in laughter.... it was probably my favorite joke of th enight :)

  • STFU Steve Hofstetter and stop overselling yourself on the internet. It's REALLY annoying! If you're funny your career will work itself out. Stop trying to use Larry the cable guy's success for your own self propagation. Your a smug, annoying, talentless, hack. For the love of god please stop your shameless self promotion!

  • shut up redneck.

  • xxzoso doesn't sound like a redneck at all. I would also assume he agrees with everything steve said in the video, as do I. Every point Steve makes is 100% correct. The video does however promote his career (40,955 views)

  • This is awesome. Thanks.

  • Great work.

    VDBL

  • Larry the Cable Guy is awful. You had some really good points, particularly when you defined a comic and his role in society. If we had more comics like you in the mainstream people like this wouldn't make it past straight to dvd sucsess.

  • @WAMFtroupe Yes, they would.

  • right on.. you just gained yourself a big fan today who had never heard of you before :)

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • he does have a point about that Git-R-Done Fer God sign

  • just curious, whats your opinion on louis ck?

  • Love him. I believe he's one of the better comics out there.

  • I'm for Steve here. When a parody turns into a symbol of the people he is doing a parody of, well, that's just sad.

  • Waaa Waaaa Waaa!!!

Cry all you want, Larry (Dan) makes money. You don't.

People tend not to find self important assholes funny. Or want to pay to see them. I enjoy Larry, I find you irritating. I'll pay to see Larry. You, I send you free utube comments.

  • larry is alright, this guy needs to shut the fuck up.

  • May the truth be set free LMAO!!!!!

  • Great video, Steve. Very funny.

  • Aside from this video, he only talks about Larry for 3 minutes in "Cure for the Cable Guy", so that makes only 10 minutes of his material making fun of Larry. Making fun of Larry may have gained him some fame, but what really got his name out there were his friend quests on Facebook, and later, Myspace, and that was before he even mentioned him.

  • It's kinda sad when a comedian is so unfunny, that he has to base his entire act on attacking a very successful comedian.

  • He doesn't base his entire act on attacking Larry, and you wouldn't know that because you haven't seen his act beyond this video.

  • Ok thats fine, but he does base a portion part of his act on Larry. I'm sure the part about Larry is what he's most famous for (isn't the cover of one of his cd's a little Larry doll with a noose around his neck?). So either way he's basing enough of his act on Larry that if Larry wasn't so successful, he wouldn't be nearly as well known.

  • that's not his fault, that's other people's fault, and doesn't take away the fact that Larry is supposed to be a satirical character

  • A comedians #1 job is: to make people laugh

In this respect, this video has failed miserably.

An ideological propagandist's #1 job is : "to find something questionable about society and to pick it apart using...(fill in your own blank)"

Is Larry the Cable Guy anymore offensive than Martin Lawrence? Or Carlos Mencia? Or Lewis Black?

I would say "no" because he isn't trying to "make you think"....he's trying to make you laugh.

And with greater success than you, sir. Don't be hatin'.

  • you might as well have an issue with the Simpsons or family guy, heck with the whole media which portrays fathers, as dumb fat, lazy slobs. Come to think of it you remind me very much of Frank Grimmes or "Grimmy" as homer use to called him.

  • Hey man! Cheers to tonight's show at the University of Idaho. I'm wearing the Douche T-shirt tomorrow!

  • Okay, Steve. Here's my dialogue. I can concede that Dan is a little reckless using negative stereotypes and that ANYONE who adopts his jokes as lifestyles was born an idiot. But answer me this:

    1. Does what you're doing really qualify as a cause?

    2. Is Dan being a treacherous shyster or does he see nothing wrong in what he's doing?

    3. What redneck comedians do you like?

  • P.S. There are redneck comedians who do not use negative stereotypes.

  • 1) Sure - "Larry" contributes to the dumb-ing down of America. That's a cause to rally against.

    2) If you're asking whether or not he's aware, yes he is. His character used to be satire.

    3) "Redneck" used to be a racial slur. If you're asking what southern or rural comedians I enjoy, Ron White is one of them. Blake Clark, Rodney Carrington, James Johann, Rich Ragains - plenty of good southern comics.

  • 1) Sure - "Larry" contributes to the dumb-ing down of America.

Mkay, well, I just personally would rather deal with, say, the War On Iraq first before I worry about Larry.

    2) If you're asking whether or not he's aware, yes he is. His character used to be satire.

And do you think he sees anything wrong with that?

  • P.S. I'm sorry. I meant to put quotations around your statements.

  • The dumbing down of America is part of why we were at war. If we were smarter and better informed, we wouldn't have supported this effort (or re-elected Bush).

And yes, he knows. I addressed that in the very video you're replying to.

  • The dumbing down of America is part of why we were at war.

Of which, as far as Ive been able to tell, Larry has played a miniscule role. What about Bill OReilly?

    And yes, he knows.

So hes intentionally making fun of people he sees as idiots?

  • I have written plenty about Bill O'Reilly, George Bush, Paris Hilton, and other horsemen of the apocalypse. You're just watching one video.

  • Okay, my bad, I am only watching one video. My only point in the dialogue is compared to O'Reilly and Bush, Larry and Hilton are not that big of a worry to me and Larry certainly is being reckless, I just don't know that he's being nefarious.

  • Oh steve, that was worded PERFECTLY.

  • absolutely real and absolutely refreshing!

    excellent reality check...sorry larry.

  • Awesome.

  • well said, he has a unigue style and its serious, but then lightening when he makes a joke, well done

  • Well Said. This is truly a scathing and scintillating critique that should be taken seriously.

  • He makes great points but it was somewhat painful listening to him. I don't know if that was bad acting or if he just talks like that but he sounds much better and more genuine during stand up.

  • Dr. Pepper is a southern drink. Eek.

  • Actually, as a gay man, whenever I see Larry The Cable Guy in his flannel and jeans...I wanna tear that ass up.

  • Have you thought he might not be in it for the money? He did say something along the lines of being a comedian to get people to think about things they never really thought of before, maybe as comical or something to be taken seriously. Also, I would like to point out he probably is a hell of a lot smarter than you and even though he might not have as much money as Dan, seeing as Larry is a fictional person,he probably has more money than you. Just thought I would point that out. Peace

  • @lukekasten

He's obviously smarter than you, because your idea that one's personal wealth is any mark of their intellect makes you out to be one stupid motherfucker.

  • Lukekasten I think is a douche bag

One's personal wealth does show intellect. It doesn't mean the one with the most money is smartest, but your not going to be making a lot of money if you don't have some intelligence.

  • Yes, more money means that you are a better and more talented person. According to the honorable Mr. Show, it is called Worthingtons law. George Bush has made more money than Albert Einstein ever did. It is clear who the real genius is. In fact, Bush is also a better artist than Van Gogh, a better writer than Ernest Hemingway and much more talented than Mozart. And what the heck, he is much funnier than Larry the Cableguy, since he has much more money.

  • his name is larry he is going by his middle name thats what my parents

  • yeah!!! well put..

  • my ear hurts

  • Everybody plays to an audience and that is all Steve and Larry are doing.

They are out for laughs and to be the center of attention.

That's all we YouTubers and successful entertainers are: attention-seeking, wanna-be-fawned-over-flaccid-support-beams that will crumble when the next generation of earth-shattering attention seekers come along.

This time in life is fleeting, so enjoy it as it lasts.

  • All respect, but I feel this whole 'dialogue' is an example of how divided we've become in the US. We're so split between the left & anyone remotely close & the right (same there). I think singling out Dan for being full of shit & taken seriously by his fans is just one out of many. "Larry" is not the 1st fictional persona taken too seriously while the person playing the part counts their money; Marilyn Manson, 50 Cent, Eminem. All made up for financial gain. How about bashing them?

  • I'm a fan of both Steve and Larry. Sometimes I prefer dumb jokes, and sometimes I'm in the mood for witty satire.

  • Also, more broadly, God help "the thinking man" if this is supposed to be his comic. Dorothy Parker must be doing backflips in her grave.

  • My personal distaste for Larry the Cable Guy aside, I'm too much of a prick to close this window without making three points:

    1. This kind of comedy isn't exactly "fresh" either. And even if it had been born in Mr. Hofstetter, it's been imitated too many times to be any more interesting than Larry's schtick (which is less offensive than boring). I live on a college campus; the disaffected thing is done to death.

    2. As disaffected snark goes, this is pretty blunt.

    3. "Satire" is not a verb.

  • I just discovered Hofstetter, and all I can say is - I love him. And I really love reading the comments in here too - it's nice to see all the positive, wellwritten responses. A rare thing on youtube.

All my respect to Hofstetter - from Denmark :)

  • He's hilarious and this is real. =)

  • I saw Steve live and thought he was great. I own a copy of his CD "Cure for the Cable Guy". I think it's great.Guess what... I'm going to see Larry the Cable guy in a couple of months. I agree with Steve and thats why I think Larry's funny; because I look at it in a satirical way.

  • Steve Hofstetter is a Classy and incredibly intelligent man, who I greatly respect for his ability to make rhetoric and argument into an enjoyable yet sensible thing.

    Thanks Steve :]

  • I agree with all of your points, except for one. Not to seem humorless, but the phrase "white trash" is just another way to demonize the poor and increase their invisibility. Human beings are never trash, despite their income, color, or even their behavior.

  • That's noble of you, and I respect your modesty, but it simply is not true. There are lots of humans who are trash. I would give examples, but I think that despite your humbleness, that is something you already acknowledge.

  • "There are some amazing people there. Because there are amazing people everywhere."

Thanks, Steve. <3 It's good to see someone who doesn't totally generalize about the south. You represent comedy with intelligence and style and I thank you for that. <3

  • there's nothing like realistic, intellectual humour...this guy dots the "i" with class and accuracy...keep it up, Steve!

  • Fabulous.

  • Do your stuff ... that's the only way to promote respectable comedy. <Keep going..! And don't care about stupid people who enjoy Larry's "jokes".

  • Wow..

Accd to chappelletheoryDOTcom, either he was very paranoid, or there really is a group called the Dark Crusaders consisting of Cosby, Opra, Jesse Jackson, Farrakhan, Whoopie, Sharpton, and R.L. Johnson that felt he was setting back the Black Steriotypes.

If only Rednecks were this Powerful (and Shortsighted).

  • dave chappelle=fabulous, larry=terrible...One quits because he knew that his comedy wasnt coming off the way he wanted it to, the other cashes in on poop jokes...Steve I salute you for standing up against this garbage. For every good show on comedy central, there is an hour of Larry the cable guy...Keep proving the hacks in the business, and maybe sooner or later you can make an album called The Cure for Carlos Mencia

  • Had to look up Chappelle here, too..Not unfunny, but didn't make me laugh out loud.

    What did he Quit?

How did he want his comedy to come off? Funny?

  • i think its awesome that a working comedian can finally put up a good argument for why idiots like larry the cable guy are on TV...its not about selling t-shirts, but making quality jokes..I'm sure Larry has plenty of money, but that means nothing since the only people who respect him are retards.

  • Just watched your bit on Myspace adds..Better

But attacking Rednecks and other Larry Fans for finding Dan Whitney's depiction of them funny is like attacking Entomologists (and cows) for finding Gary Larson (Far Side) funny.

But thanks to Larry the Cable Guy, I just stumbled across you. (Smart tactic).

  • this guy is awesome.

  • i clicked on this cause i thought it would be funny but i just realized that this guy is an ass.

  • yall stop hatin on larry the cable guy.

he's amazing and yall are just mad cause you're a bunch of frickin yanks

  • damn right yanks. at least we won the civil war

  • yeah, you really know how to piss me off.

ask anyone with a history major...the north didn't win the war. the south signed the freaking treaty to end the bloodshed. we aren't weaker, just more intelligent.

  • You really made me laugh. The day the southern states are more intelligent than the northern ones is the day I sprout wings and fly away to Neverland. You got you ass kicked. Admit it. Move on. Also, it's really hard to accept "intelligence" putdowns from a guy that starts a post with "yall"

  • so now you're criticizing my grammar? i'm from the South and "yall" is part of our daily conversations. and i guarantee you i could kick your ass in any contest of intelligence. just because we talk different doesn't mean we're stupid.

  • The fact that everybody says it doesn't make it correct grammar. And I'm glad to see you guarantee my defeat in a contest of intelligence with you. I'm so scared I'm actually dictating this post to my brother while I curl up naked in the corner of my room, in shame. Also, you lost the civil war.
