  • Okay, one more comment and will try not to say anything else until I watch all 81 of your videos, although I'm sure that will be difficult because you are pretty darn inspiring Miss Lauren...;) Anyhow, what I wanted to say was that I almost started crying when I watched the first part of this video and saw how upset you were, but instantly got so happy because, since I just met you last Friday, I KNOW that you do get better, much much better! You looked great and sounded great, so that's all.

  • @aeolos58 Thank you for watching, and thank you for being so sweet!! I'm so happy that we were able to meet in Kansas City and I look forward to keeping in touch!! xoxo Lauren :)

  • @laurenvparrott Ha, you are so incredibly welcome because you have no idea (well maybe because of who you are you do) the impact you are having!! I have been kicked and knocked down so many times in the past couple years, but am such a fighter and never give up, almost to a fault sometimes...lol! Watching your videos makes me feel even stronger though...;) I swear you have lit a fire under my Rumpelstiltskin, and I'm not sure how it will manifest itself but the creative juices are flowing!!

  • @aeolos58 Wow, what a compliment! I feel so lucky to have you in my life! I can't wait until the next time we talk to each other!

  • @laurenvparrott DITTO!!! DITTO!!! DITTO!!! And oh btw, DITTO!!! I completely and totally agree with that entire statement...;) I have a lot to say and am having such an awesome time getting to know you!

  • Thank you for saying that...it really helps to know I'm not the only one who's gone through something like this!

  • @laurenvparrott you have a piont darling im one of those people that is going through the same thing :D

  • Wow. I'm YT surfing tonight because I get my first tysabri infusion tomorrow. Dangit, girl, I hear myself in your voice and your emotions. It's soooooo impossible to explain to people what I call (to myself) "the overwhelm." I realize from your story how lucky I am to have a boss's boss who has MS, because I can be totally "out" at work, which cuts my stress. I too am in journalism, so I know the type! Thank you for sharing so openly. I have to see more of ur YTs to get more of the story.

  • Hi! Well you sure are lucky to have a boss's boss with MS who can understand you - especially in journalism! You can really understand things that I went through!

Good luck with you Tysabri infusion! Stay in touch!!

    Lauren :)

  • You are beautiful and an inspiration to everyone here.

  • Thank you so much! That means a lot to me!

  • Lauren,I am a 56 year old grandmother who has had MS for 30 years. I worked very hard on hiding my symptoms until I became disabled last year due to progression. Now I have to decide whether to take Tysabri or not. You are an incredibly beautiful woman and your beauty is not based on tremors, or how you walk or not walk(I know exactly how you feel about how the walking looks). People just don't always say the right thing. Stay a champ, help others with your experiences and BEAT M.S.

  • Thank you so much for writing this to me! It means a lot. I wish you the very best! Tysabri is working really well for me and if you do decide to take it, I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me!

  • Hard core!!

Thats a beautiful, tough woman if i ever saw one!

  • Thank you! You're so sweet!

  • Man you have a great sense of humor. Keep your head up Lauren.

  • Aww thanks - I'd rather laugh than cry!

  • Hey Lauren,

Its hard but we all have to remember things happen for a reason. But thanks for sharing with me the effects of stress. I am in the middle of a flare and feel helpless. You are great!

  • Hi Kitty! I agree, things do happen for a reason. I really wish you so much luck with your flare up - I know how frustrating it is. Good luck and keep in touch! Lauren :)

  • You are a beautiful woman..¡¡

  • Thank you so much :)

  • Lauren,

I was diagnosed with MS in 1999 and have been on Copaxone since. It's been really hard at times just like I know it's been for you too. You're so brave to be doing these videos and even though you don't know me I'm very proud of you. Hang in there and prayers are coming your way that Tysabri works wonders for you.

  • Thank you so much for your message! I really appreciate it! I hope you are doing well and I hope Copazone works for you!

    Lauren

  • My dear Lauren,

I am so very proud of you. These videos are fantastic and I am sure they are helping others who have MS to cope as well as you are. Things WILL get better - you just keep trying your best and don't apologize to those who criticize you or say the wrong things. There is a lot of ignorance in the world. Also, know that I am continually researching MS and hope to have some answers/suggestions and information to help you kick this. Happy New Year......love, Aunt Tweet

  • Thank you so much Aunt Tweet!

  • Lauren ... cannot wait until your next update !
