Atheists are fundamentalists. Agnostics and Humanists reject the name atheist because it has been turned into a religion of destroying other religions. Agnostics and Humanists stand in a frame of "prove it to me" and leave it like that and move on with their lives learning, growing, co-existing with our neighbors. Germs didn't exist to our knowledge once, now we know. What if...? Who knows? Agnostics admit they don't. Atheists have jumped to a conclusion already, no better than a Jerry Falwell.
If an atheist is a person who does not believe in a god or gods, how are you supposed to "convert" them exactly? Wouldn't you just be "deconverting"?
