I disagree with cirhosed that Yaman and Yaman Kalyan are the same ragas.Pure Yaman employs just the Tivra madhyam while Yaman Kalan uses Komal madhyam in avrohana(descent) along with the tivra madh.

Yaman,Aiman and Kalyan are the same ragas.

@manposhi To my knowledge, There is nothing as komal madhyam in the alankaras.. madhyam is just shudhdha and teevra... both yaman and yaman-kalyaan are the same, just that different people address it differently.

Aiman Kalyan and Yaman Kalyan are same, similarly Yaman and Aiman are same. In Pakistan Yaman is better known as Aiman.

Ustads Salamat Ali Khan & Nazakat Ali Khan doing what they did best and that is to put on a scintillating performance of Indian classical singing, absolutely fantastic and awe-inspiring. Especially, Ustad SAK, he was astonshingly and frighteningly amazing, in a league of his own so to speak!!!
