At 2:10 and 5:50 I notice you move into the right lane.
I was trained to stay in the left lane, even though the arrow says turn left, as there are bus lanes straight after the lioghts. Was told it's pointless going in the right lane then moving straight back to the left lane after the lights.
it must be really hard stopping at all the stops when there are loads of cyclists around - especially when some of them do things like undertake even when you're about to stop.
It annoys me when I'm cycling and holding up a bus, I try and go as fast as possible or pull into a side road to let the past. Frustrating for the driver and cyclist, but nothing much can be done until road planners make a better solution?
@BritishRider Firstly, you must have a car licence and some firms such as First like you to have a clean licence as well. The minimum age is 21 to apply for a PCV licence. However, in many cases the age is now 18. Many of the larger firms such as Stagecoach and First are often nearly always training as they have many people that leave. Best thing to do, always check their websites to see when they are recruiting and no doubt, you'll strike lucky as I did.
@1qaz0pllm hmmm guess it is 2 but luckily we r having more and more cyclists paths in poland these days so it's not such a problem as it used 2 be some years ago
the problem with cyclists appear more on the roads off city limits which r usually pretty narrow and curvy and i'm sure u know it's not an easy task 2 overtake such sportsmen there
i hate when people ride bike slow like that. if your gonna ride that slow mite as well stay out of the busses or other cars ways. i know if i have to ride in the street which i usually dont it will be for a short time and ill go the speed limit or close to it. so as to not piss people off if im in front of them.
Interesting video. Shows how many things there are to keep tabs on. Cyclists, driving a huge bus, people wanting to get off, watching the road in general... daym...
No shit about that lady spinning like a washing machine.... maybe she could not change gear.

That bloddy cyclist ignored every red traffic light, then they complain they're not given any respect on the road !!!

As a bus driver, cyclists are the frustration of my life. I refer to them as a cycling piece of shit.

You can tell it's Leeds - all the pedestrians are sour faced fashion victims.

I hate doing trips up Headingley on the 96's, traffic always too bad near Richmond fare stage

Nice video. Amazing how the cyclist keeps running the red.
Any idea why the sound is tinny and echoing ? Maybe too much gain or a microphone issue ?
roadmonitoroz 2 years ago
I think the tinny sound and echoing is just the sound of the bus along with the cab heater keeping me warm. :)
